Pam, my accent gets stronger only when I get out of Texas. When I'm here I speak pretty normally, but as soon as I hit "foreign" soil (like FL or NY, he he he), my Texas drawl comes out. Don't know why!

Kat, if it's ok with you, and Tracy doesn't mind picking up the later group coming in to SA, then I would go with the flight arriving in Houston at 9:30 am. and leaving houston on monday at 5:40. If you do the Hobby route you'd have to hoof it out of SA pretty early Monday morning to catch your 2pm flight.

Good morning! Shannon - my doctor treats Mexican patients and fills with Omnipaque if you request it. I have had one fill with Omnipaque and it feels so much better. I'm not super tight but I'm at a good spot for now. I'm also in Houston. Where are you at? Last night I went to dinner at Juan's mom's house. They were having tortas, which is a big Mexican sandwich. The bread is chewy, not soft. I thought, uh oh, how am i gonna do this. Surprisingly I was able to take little bites, chew very well and I ate about half of it. Awesome! Love my band!

I never wear shorts with my swimsuits but lately my upper thigh skin is starting to hang down and it looks gross that for the first time I might be toobing in shorts and a t-shirt! TracyK - Do you want to pick up the girls that are coming into IAH? I could then help Terry pick up the late group coming into San Antonio. The only reason I suggested that I should pick up the IAH people is because that airport is about 15 min away from my house and about an hour away from yours. It's up to you, I don't mind either way.

Kat - since Laura is arriving at 8am do you mind arriving in the 9:30 am flight?

Morning girls! Summer seems so far away here in Houston today. Another rainy cold day. Me and Juan are trying to plan a three day weekend to a beach in the next few weeks. I need sun!! I need warmth! I'm cold all the time. Even with the heater on, jammies, socks, sweatshirt, my toes and my nose and my ears and my fingers are always still cold! Ugh. End of rant. he he he... Tracy - I would just plan on staying home until Monday. You do need your rest and your daughter needs to get her strenght back. Pam - I very rarely go into the Rants section. I always try to stick up for whoever they're beating up on and then people end up beating up on me! And then try to convince me that no one is beating anyone up! Like hell they're not. They're bullies, plain and simple. Suzie! So glad to have water patrol back! I do so much better with my water when I read about others getting theirs in... Still looking for Cindy... I am so hungry! It's barely 4:30 and we probably wont eat dinner until 7pm. Yuck. willpower, willpower!!

Tracy - recipe is almost the same as regular chicken soup. Except we don't add noodles or debone the chicken. It's one whole chicken cut up into parts. Add that to a pot of boiling salted water (enough to cover the chicken). Add cumin, some cayenne pepper, one bay leaf and cover and boil for about 10 min. Then I add carrots, potatoes, corn on the cob (cut into half portions). Boil for about 30 min then add cut up zuchinni and one bunch of cilantro. I serve with white rice and avocados on the side. YUM!

oh that was too funny Judy... I have to share that one... I've had 2 LITERS of water so far! Whop dee do... Making chicken caldo tonight. (Mexican chicken soup) Weather is super yucky here but I know I shouldn't complain because I'm sure it's worse for some of my northern dwelling violets. I'm so ready for SUMMER!! Ugh, I haven't worked out in weeks. I drive by my gym every single day and each day I always make an excuse to just keep driving by. I think I'm going to have another cup of coffee and check my email...

Powerade has 38 grams of sugar and 43 grams of carbs in a 20 oz bottle! WOW. I was going to drink one this morning but I looked at the label. I'm so glad I did. I need to get back into the habit of looking at labels. I tracked all the food I'm going to consume today on Myplate. Now I just have to stick with the plan. I'm gonna see if that method works for me. To lay it all down, exactly what I'm going to eat. That way I am aware I don't have wiggle room in any one particular area for that day. Am I making sense? I think I'm confusing myself!!

Tracy - How the heck do you drink a Liter of water in 46 minutes?? It takes me hours to drink a Liter. Each sip I feel gurgling down. But then tell me why I have no problem inhaling friend chicken? I need to grease up my water, LOL... I just got done with my first Liter that I started at around 12:45. It's 3:11 right now. I'll get started on my second and hopefully finish by 5pm...

Hi girls! So excited that this is actually coming into fruition. Terry, when do you need booking money? I ditto what Terry said. If it's cheaper for you to fly into Houston and even to fly in Thursday, I don't mind picking ya'll up and ya'll are welcome to stay at my home... So far Pam and Tracy have booked right? Terry do you want me to keep track of everyones flights and split the pickups between you, me and Tracy according to times of arrival? Let me know if I can help in any way...

Good morning everyone! Sitting here with my runny oatmeal this morning. I've been sick for a few days, was hoping it wasn't the flu or anything and luckily it was nothing. I started feeling better yesterday afternoon. We went to a special tribute mass to MLK at church last night and Cardinal Daniel DiNardo gave the Homily. I was so glad that I went! That was such a special treat as I've never seen him in person. We're planning a garage sale for two weeks from now and my sister brought over a couple of boxes of clothes that didn't fit her anymore. Well, I went through the boxes and most of them almost fit me!! Woo freaking hoo! I've got tons of summer stuff now. AND, I won't be mad at all if summer gets here and they're all too big for me!! DENISE - You look GREAT!! WOW! Everyone post more pictures! I love pictures. I'll go home and see if I can do a side by side like that... Tracy - hope Macy is doing better today. Does she still have a temperature? Terry - I hope that your mom is happy in her new home. I know it's difficult getting them settled into different places. We had to do that with my grandma for many years before we finally had to put her in a nursing home because she didn't want to live with any of her daughters. Make it a great day ya'll!

Terry, - your idea sounds great. Toobing is so much fun! We do it every summer. I'd be happy to pickup/drop off and drive everyone around during the course of your stay. I would absolutely insist on paying more for my room since I wouldn't have the airfare expese to contend with. I'm up to anything and I'm sure whatever we decide to do we'll all have alot of fun. We're all laid back and un-opinionated, right? :tt1:
