I have a tunic, some bell bottoms, a leather tie around my forehead, a peace necklace... The only thing I don't have are thick soled shoes but I'll just wear flip flops. OMG, $20 bucks for water??? What the heck does it taste like and where does it come from? The center of a 1000 year old glacier populated with unicorns and faries? Let me know how the new Saw is... I usually wait until they're out on video so I can watch them at home during the day with all the blinds open and all the lights on, LOL. I'm such a chicken. Suzie - stay away from the chocolate! Oh Judy! How pretty all that snow is! I admire it from afar! Laura - YUUMM, that chowder sounds yummy. Those are my favorite type of soups. Thick and filling for our cold cold 40 degree nights, LOL... We are such pansies when it comes to the cold weather. I already turned on my heater at home and we sleep with down comforters and 4 hot dogs in our bed, LOL. Pammy - we want pics of you in your earrings! Were you completely unfilled during your pregnancy? TracyK - Is Macy excited about Halloween? We always have a huge Halloween party and the kids just love dressing up. We even dress up to take the kids out! I still haven't decided what my costume this year is gonna be... Terry - do ya'll do anything for halloween? or since the kids are all grown is it just another day? We haven't ever had a lull of no kids in our family... We grew up but I have cousins that are of all ages and then some cousins already have kids so the cycle always begins again... TracyKS - some kids just want to get kids in trouble because they're jealous! Like, why didn't my mom think of that? LOL. Is he gonna be a ninja for halloween? I seriously don't know what I'm gonna be! Last year I didn't dress up and the year before I think I was a maniacal doctor or something. I wore scrubs and splattered fake blood over everything. Hi girls... took the day off yesterday to play hooky with my mom. And after reading Laura's message this morning I'm so so glad I did it. She's always off on Monday's and always works weekends. We see each other during the week for dinner but haven't been out shopping and having a girl's day in awhile. So yesterday I just decided to skip work and to surprise her. I went and picked her up and we went shopping, had manis and pedis and just had such a fun day... I was feeling guilty this morning when I saw the pile of work on my desk but after reading Laura's post all my guilt is out the window. Work will always be here, never ending, same thing day to day. I've got to remember that more often... Laura - your baby bump looks too cute! You're starting to show! Let me know how that pot roast turns out. We love pepperocini's too and had them last night on our salad. Kat - that sucks that you lost your new earring. I've done that before and am just sick when I look at the remaing earring in my jewelry box. I can't ever throw the other one away thinking that I MIGHT find the other one someday, LOL. Suzie - lol, thanks for the chuckle... Pamela - WOW, show sounds like it was awesome! I hope I have a chance to see her before she retires... Judy - sounds like Bob is a sugar fiend like I am. Pie and shake, typical day for me, LOL... So this morning I decided I was going to eat like a bandster is supposed to eat... You know, small portions, little bites. This is after a week of just massive quantities of food because of all the parties i've been going to. I soft scrabled two eggs for myself and took a small spoon and started eating. Even though I felt like I was still hungry when I finished I just ignored my head when it was telling me to eat something else, that it wasn't enough food to satisfy me. Well here it is around 11:30am and I still feel full. This is all a head game for me... I hate that... I guess I'm back to basics now. Little portions eaten slooowwly. Okay, I gotta get in the shower now... talk to you girlies later...

Judy! Hair looks awesome, like always. I'm going to be your necklace twin. Just got mine in the mail a couple of days ago... I'm gonna wear mine on Thanksgiving. I'll be getting lots and lots of compliments! TracyKS - Robby is so darn smart! I wish there was other resources available to him because I'm pretty sure that he's just not getting stimulated enough. My little sister Erika was a "problem" child in elementary school also. She was finally put into like a gifted program with music and arts and stuff and she was able to put all her energy into that and she just blossomed. Was in honors and AP classes for the rest of her school career. Best of luck to you Tracy. Love ya! Laura - I'll get the recipe from her this weekend and also remind her that she hasn't made it for us this season yet. Well, it's only been cold for about two days now so I'll give her that, LOL... Just will never understand why people keep defending him... Anyway, that's the last i'll say of that. It's Friday, the sun is shining and it's a little bit chilly. I have NOTHINGGGGGGG scheduled this weekend!! NO weddings, no showings, nada! I'm so happy that I'm finally gonna be able to just relax and be at home. The only thing I'm planning on doing is spending some time with my hunny bunny. We're thinking of going dancing Saturday night and on Sunday we are going to the pumpkin patch. I'm gonna get a few for carving and some to cook with... Laura - my mom makes a really good pumpkin soup. I'm gonna get the recipe from her. It takes good when it's barely made and good once it sits for awhile too. We always stir some creme fraiche (sp?) into it and it's sooo yummy. Tonight is finally then end of my extensive birthday celebration... My dad got back last night and he's taking me out for a nice dinner at one of my favorite restaurants. Can't wait to see him, I've missed him so much! I meant to ask ya'll - how is it that I imbed a picture into my message? I know how to attach it but I see some of ya'll the picture is in the message and I don't have to click on it to see it. How do I do that?

You know I was asking myself the same question 4 years ago when we found out George Bush was gonna get elected again. 4 more years of bullshit. Sigh... Regardless of the outcome it's still going to be hard to get back on track after this. I find it really hard to believe that this mess will get fixed in 4 or even 8 years, regardless of the party in the White House. The only thing I know for sure is that if Obama is elected he'll get crucified for not being able to fix it and if McCain gets elected they'll just say that it was a big mess and he did the best he could... Bottom line, I don't mix friends and politics. I'm not gonna get into it with the republicans because we just don't share the same points of view on all the issues. My family is half and half so I practise this in my home too!

TracyK - no, I actually loved Mary Jo. She is real straight forward and reminds me so much of Terry actually. She doesn't sugar coat things and that's usually what I need. I've only seen her twice and the only reason is that #1 she charges $200 bucks a session and #2 she is wayyyy wayyyy wayyy across town. I know $200 bucks isn't a great deal of money especially if it's helping me but we've been in a crunch lately and we're just trying to get our expenses back under control. I've gotten in two accidents in a span of one month, neither serious but I'm gonna have to pay out of pocket for one of them. My bumper is cracked and the other person's bumper is dented. And on top of that expense, my renter's rent check bounced and it was a total domino effect on my account. Made other stuff bounce, blah blah blah... It was such a hassle to get it straight. And now I'm having a hard time collecting the additional NSF fees that I incurred from her check bouncing. Ugh, makes me ill just thinking about it... Sorry to unload, it just all came gushing out! Oh Michelle! I meant to say hey to you earlier... Make sure you're taking care of you during this whole mess of scheduling! You do way too much and the people in your life are lucky to have you. I would certainly take advantage of you if you were in my life, LOL!! Kisses...

Yesterday I went to the doctor's office in the morning and there was this lady sitting in there with me in the waiting room talking on her cell phone. She was talking so loud! And it was all gossip, so I was hangin on to every word, LOL. She kept talking about this "devil" woman who was out to get her. Very interesting, LOL. Then she noticed I was listening so I think she embelished the story even more! Too funny... Went to my OBGYN for my well woman exam yesterday and she said I was doing so good! That all my numbers were good and that I just needed to get back on track as far as my weight loss goes. I wish it was as easy as just saying, "okay, lets get back on track!"...

TracyK - Food was awesome yesterday. We all tore into it like we hadn't eaten in days. You should have seen us, the conference room full of people and not a peep was heard for a good ten minutes. Everyone was just chowing down... I was taking huge bites like always so I would sit there chew chew chewing until it all went down. I have a really bad habit of doing that. I catch myself doing it all the time... Got my new phone yesterday! That was my birthday present from Juan. I played with it all last night and decided that it was much too much phone for me. I think I'm going to exchange it for something else.... off to get my coffee... oh Terry - those mice are just toooooo cute!

People would rather be in everyone else's business rather than take a good hard look at their own life. I've seriously will never ever understand that. How is everyone today?? I'm continuing my birthday celebration. They are having a big lunch thing for me today. Our billing lady is Chinese and she made the most amazing dishes for today. And then our IT guy is Vietnamese and his wife made tons of spring rolls for us. I can't wait. Asian food is my absolute favorite type of food... Judy - so glad to hear that you got a good tan! I'm so jealous. I'm yellow and pasty looking. The only time I tanned this summer is when I was going to my cousins wedding and I actually went to a tanning salon. TracyK - glad you're feeling better! It sucks being sick! Kat - you getting attached to the puppy yet??

how you been feeling laura? I've never heard of that mrs. pettigrew movie you mentioned. Did it ever hit theatres or is it like an indy film? 21? ha ha ha! I wish! But I don't feel 32 and that's what matters! Is the price of gold still good? I've got a a few broken chains, some heavy and earrings in which I lost the partner. I might try it and see what they say it's worth... Oh and I LOOOOVVEE PF Changs, but I don't think it's supposed to be authentic chinese food. They make everything really sweet but I still love it. My favorite is kung pao anything. The fried rice is usually good. I've had better at authentic chinese places. I like it really garlicky and with lots of egg... I better stop talking cuz I'm supposed to be GOOD today and i'm already craving chinese...LOL

Hi girls!! I didn't want to get up this morning. I too was having bad dreams Janie but it was because I ate way way way too much yesterday. Warning: Food porn For brunch I had chorizo and eggs, black beans, pork green chile on the side, new potatoes and half a waffle. For a late lunch we had frito pies, shaved ice, ice cream and some sugary nuts. (what awesome nutrition, huh?) For dinner my sister made an italian feast. We had homemade lasagna, chicken alfredo, yummy salad, garlic bread. And then she made me a banana cake that was to die for. We had it with cinammon ice cream. I'm on just water today... LOL. I'm still stuffed. We stayed over at my mom's till about 1am because none of us could move off the couch... But seriously I'm back on my excersise routine today. I made plans to meet my friend at the gym today and she said she would hold me accountable if I didn't keep up with my visits. She is a work out fanatic and goes like 6 days a week. I brought my tuna salad with me today for lunch and for breakfast I had two eggs and lean ham in a whole wheat wrap.

Thank you for all the birthday wishes!! It's been a wonderful day so far. We slept in, then had brunch at a wonderful place near downtown. I ate way too much but didn't worry too much about it! Getting ready to go to my mom's house for my party. I'm like 10 years old again. I asked for balloons and cake and ice cream, LOL. The only sad part is that my dad is out of town on business and he couldn't fly in for my birthday. He said he'd make it up to me when he got back though... Wedding last night was just beautiful. We had a wonderful day for an outdooor wedding. The party was supposed to end at 11 but since everyone was having so much fun we just let it run on... It was 130am before the last of the guests left. But everyone had a great time and that's all that matters... Okay, i'm off again! Thank you again for my birthday wishes! Love you guys!!!

Michelle - I'm so jealous! I love the beach in off season too. When it's a little cold and gray and empty. I love just wandering around... The concert last night was AWESOME! I felt like I was 15 again! Oh to be young and in love with a boy band... I have no voice today, I screamed my lungs out last night. The stadium was packed with girls around my age and they all went with middle school and high school friends. So awesome to be able to reunite like that for one night and be transported back to your childhood... Kat - the umbrella idea sounds awesome. I'll have to talk to Juan's mom about that. There are going to be instances of rain, no doubt about it but we didn't know what to do in case of a sudden downpour. Thanks! Oh yes, Jenn - do tell who the snuggler is...

Guess who I'm headed to see tonight??? Boy band from the 90's, New Kids on the Block! ha ha ha ha... me and my sisters grew up with them and I just loved them when I was in High School... My sisters got us all tickets to go see them tonight. I can't wait, I'm such a dork!! I'm leaving work now, gotta run some errands for the wedding we're having this weekend and then I'm going home to get ready for tonight... Kat - it's stopped raining here now but it might rain again tomorrow. It's supposed to be sunny and cool on Saturday so keep your fingers crossed for this poor bride!

WOW laura - I knew you'd lost alot but didn't realize it was 121 lbs. Congrats to you girly!! You did so awesome!! HH - hmm, i don't try to think too much about the last 18 months because i feel like I'm such a loser. BUT, let's see, I lost a total of 66 pounds the first 11 months. The next 7 months have been a struggle with the same 8 lbs going up and down. Can you believe it? I have lost and regained the same freakin 8 pounds in 7 months. Ugh, makes me so frustrated now that it's written down. Tracyk - that sucks that you're having such a hard time with the teacher. I seriously would have lost my cool to her the first time she tried to be a smartass with me. I'm glad you didn't do that though because you're right, she might have taken it out on Macy later. I would have never thought about that. See, I have such mouth issues. I speak before I even think about the consequenses... TracyKS - Poor Robby! I'm sorry he's having such a hard time.
