Why would people not like it? I like Maxwell. It's a nice strong name... Yep, I have two workers with daughters named Emma. It's ubber popular... I never liked my name growing up. I hated it actually. No one ever said it right and no one, not even family, spells it right. But now I have embraced it. It's a unique name and I like the way it sounds when people say it... TracyK - for whatever reason it's not meant for you to see that plaque! Boo... Actually i'm just gonna post the pic here!

laundry - ugh, hate that word. my pile is still growing, we decided to go to my mom's for dinner so no chores for me! My weekend is shot to heck though because now I'll be stuck at home! Pammy - how was the concert? Did Britney and Justin re-unite on stage?? I heard there was gonna be a special surprise! TracyK - did you get my emailed pic? Too cute! Hope your tummy feels better. Try drinking chamomile tea, that always helps me. Michelle - love Mike's hard lemonade! Anything fruity is my downfall... And since those drinks are usually sweet I never realize how much I've drunk until it's waaaayyy too late. Good thing I only drink a few times a year or I'd seriously have a problem, LOL TracyKS - did you win the shoes? So since you're buying shoes I'm assuming Robby is doing wrestling? Laura - I meant to ask how the baby name search is going? My cousin just had his first and there were three couples that are pregnant within my extended family and they were all fighting for the same name. They were all trying to beat each other to the delivery room. Like I said though, my cousin and his wife ended up being induced and so he got the name. Emma. It's a really popular name right now but it's also my deceased grandmother's name so everyone wanted it. Seriously there were huge fights about it! Anyhoo, I'm off to grab my coffee... Morning girls! Pammy - Madonna, woo hoo!! I've always wanted to go to one of her shows. She was here in Houston about a month ago but the tickets were way high. Have fun and be good!! TracyK - I sent you a picture Monday, did you get it? I was out shopping and saw a little plaque that said "Lord, keep your arm around my shoulder and your hand over my mouth." It was too cute! Judy - we are having wonderful weather here too! Hopefully it stays like this throughout November. We have two outside weddings planned this month... Don't want the guests to freeze their buns off... Judy - isn't it wonderful what we kid ourselves into thinking? "long nails drew the attention away from the fat body" LOL... I DID THAT TOO! omg, my hair and my nails where my "shields". I figured if they were looking at my hair and nails they wouldn't be looking at my 300lb gut, LOL Today I have resolved that I will put away my mountain of laundry that has been piling up for a week now. Everyday I wash a little bit and then I just add it to the pile. Ugh, it's just grown and grown... When does housework ever end?

the wings of the turkey are my favorite part. yum yum yum... the breakfast squares sound delish but I'm not sure what's mexican about it! and i'm with you on the chick fil a strips. What the heck! Why did they change them? Who was complaining? I want an explanation! LOL...

TracyKS - good luck on the swallow! Jane - 53 years! Wow! They don't make marriages like that anymore! You must be very excited! My granparents are celebrating their 56 this November too. We're gonna celebrate after Thanksgiving...

TracyK - the green bean casserole on the back of the Frenchy's french fried onion can is really really good. The only change I make is that instead of using canned green beans i use frozen french green beans. And I use a ton of those french fried onions. YUMMMM. It's really my favorite part of the whole meal. That and pumpkin pie. LOOVVEEE pumpkin pie. Speaking of pumpkin, have you texas girls tasted the pumpkin shake at Jack in the box? OHMYFREAKINGGOSH it's so good. Actually don't taste it... My co-worker brought me one yesterday. I practically beat her over the head with it when I tasted it. It's my new addiction...

Laura - mexican breakfast? Sausage and cream cheese? Do share please, sounds delish. and how did you change your color scheme? I want a more fall color right now... My fingers get cold just looking at this screen.... brrrr....

All I was trying to say was that the past few elections have been riddled with problems and one side has felt that the elections had not been completely fair. The election process went smoothly this time and there were no major problems reported. Can we move past this? In every election there is going to be a winner and a loser. If McCain had won I would have been dissapointed but I would not have been a sore loser. I have enough of the moaning and groaning about doom and gloom at home. I come here to escape all that. I love you guys and this has always been a refuge for me.

Morning girls! Last night was amazing. I was so proud to be an American! Sounds corny but it's the truth. Whatever your position might be it's still awesome to experience democracy working like it's supposed to. The site is so bright!! Looks like Spring in here! I wonder if we have the option to change the color scheme?

Morning girls! Jane - really really sorry about this tragedy that happened in your family. I'm sure it was so hard for all those involved. Michelle - way to go on the weightloss!! Take it any way that it happens! Laura - sucks about your to-go. That pisses me off to no end too! Not the best person to advice you about patience but I have heard that depending on the temperment that the mom has during the pregnancy that that is how the temperment of the child will be. Moms, does that have any truth to it?

oh Tracy! Lots and lots of hugs and prayers! Whatever the results we are here for you!

Oh and we didn't end up going to dancing Friday night. We were having too much fun to leave. We went Saturday instead and didn't come home till past 3am. I'm pooped because we woke up early Sunday and didn't even nap yesterday... I need a nap and it's barely 8:45, LOL Here's a pic from sat night...

She's definetly cut out to be a princess! How was the zoo? I haven't been in like 20 years! We had a great time Friday night. Yes I put on my costume, not really sure what I was supposed to be but I did scare little kids, LOL. After work I stopped by 3 different drugstores to try to find some fangs and fake blood but the shelves were bare. I teased my hair, rubbed some black eyeshadow all over and was done. I just did not want to put forth too much of an effort but didn't want to be a party pooper by not coming dressed... Party is at my aunt's house first. Trick or treating with the kids and then yummies and margies for the adults. She lives in a cul de sac so all the neighbors get together. so ready to go home it's the never ending day. Man, I keep looking at the clock and it's moving like molasses... I even went and had a llllooooonnng lunch with a co-worker and here it is, still barely 3ish. Well I managed to find a costume but I'm not sure what it's supposed to be or how I can accesorize it for tonight. My co-worker brought it for me and told me she was a lady vampire. This does not say lady vampire to me. What ya'll think:

Laura - that sucks about your doctor not being more supportive. Too late to find another one? I'm not saying that they need to pander to you but they should give you more than "duh" answers, like "eat vegetables", duh idiot. Oh and that's nice that Russell asked about your weight gain. That just means he's paying attention. Since you're probably sulking about it. Is he the type to help out with it, and do you even want help with it? Like if you're eating something you're not supposed to can he call you out on it?

Morning chickies, how's everyone today? Terry - oh in my family, it is "all about the food". We are just disgusting when it comes to how much food is prepared. That's just how we show love. And fortunately (or unfortunately?) me and my sisters are the only chunkies. Everyone else is sooo make me sick skinny. That's one of the things that Mary Jo was trying to help me with. That since my family was so food focused how could I get the focus off the food and just on us being together as a family. None of her suggestions ever worked Michelle - I'm a giver giver giver like you. I allow it to happen, it's my fault. Then I go and cry to Juan about how stressed out I am and how no one appreciates me. He's sick of hearing it. But you're right, I do it to myself. What would happen if I said "NO"? Or what would happen if, God forbid, I didn't offer my help? Nothing of course! But get that through my thick head! LOL. Hugs to you my doppleganger twin... Jane - I hope this gets resolved quickly. I can't imagine the stress you're under! Stay strong and just know that the end is in sight! Love you! Suzie - take lots of Vitamin C in order to ward off any sickies that your husband might be passing along to you... They sell it in little pouches at walmart, just stir it into your water. Different flavors. They don't taste too bad... Pammy - what did you end up watching Tuesday night? I remember someone was going to watch the Secret lives of Bees? Was that you? Was it good?

I am so seriously ready for this election to be over. I dread opening my email everyday because of all horrible forwards I am getting. From both sides! I just got into an argument with one of my good friends over some email bashing Palin/McCain. YUCK. Just makes me feel ill inside...

Oh suzie, that sucks. Is that a job that you need or do you do it in order to distract yourself? Why is it that when things go south you are their back up plan? So sorry!
