phew... i'm pooped. i'm still at work, will be for at least another hour. then I have to stop at the grocery store on my way home. we are out of fish and I've been craving it. Hi girls! Busy week last week for me and crazy weekend too... I feel utterly exhausted and can't wait for the end of this month... I am seriously needing another vacation. Late nights here at the office and then lots of appointments at the wedding venue in the evenings. Michelle and Pam - I can't wait to see ya'll soon. I'm gonna have to leave Sunday night instead of Monday morning though because my dad scheduled our vacation starting that Monday. So I get home from Palm Springs sunday night and leave for Cabo monday morning... Oh what a horrible predicament i'm in... Pam - I'm so glad your back is feeling better. Was it anything to do with the exercises you were doing?? Michelle - YAY on disney! I love Disney and haven't been in about 5 years. Last time we went we said we wouldn't go back until one of us had kids but I don't think we realized that it would take us so long to get there, LOL. We might have to re-think that pact. Jane - I'm so happy to hear that you're back under 300! Yay you. You are doing awesome with this new attitude that you have. I would do the 5th star for attitude. If you kept up a healthy attitude when it comes to your weight then I would award a 5th star. And then like Pam said, reward yourself but not with food. Terry - Did you have fun shopping for your boss?? I absolutely love the process of spending money so even if i'm not shopping for me I'm still pretty darn happy, LOL. I wonder if I could ever be a personal shopper for someone? I have no taste but that won't matter, LOL... Tracy - woo hoo on your workouts!! The hardest part is just getting there and you're doing that so go you!! Judy - I wish we had an indoor Water park/hotel close to here. That sounds so awesome! I'm glad Kris is doing good! Laura - Is Carson doing better with his sleeping? Are you getting enough rest?? That sucks about the money issue. But I think that everything will soon get back to normal... You're just not used to so much coming out at once... Kat - I think your approach to your son and grandson is good. He needs to realize that there will be consequenses for him not teaching his son good behavior. I'm so glad that you're taking a stand now when he's little. Okay, i'm sure I missed a bunch of you but I seriously need to get back to work now... I'll be back later!

thank you jennifer! that is so sweet of you to offer your help! so i went ahead and booked the car. i didnt want to risk it. i booked it on priceline so i paid for it upfront. came out to 25 bucks a day for a standard sized car from alamo at the airport. not bad at all!

Good morning! Very very wet here today. I was wondering about you Terry. They said that 290 was crazy and some feeders completely underwater. Glad to hear you stayed home today... I would have stayed home too but I have TONS of work. Ugh, I can't ever get caught up! I've got piles of stuff all over my office that need my attention... My best friend is a teacher and she was telling me this morning that TAKS was cancelled because of some of the schools closing. Sucks. She's been preparing for this day for awhile now and she's not happy... Tracy - I'm not a mom but I totally agree with you. My mom was MOM first then friend. And also true what Pam said. That the attention they get from acting like this is attention that they are lacking somewhere else. I feel sad whenever I see 10 year old girls acting like they are 16 or 16 year old girls acting like they are 21... And it's a common sight everywhere nowadays... I really must get back to work now... i'll be back!

Good morning girls!! We had such a great time on Friday! I didn't want to leave... It makes me that more anxious for our next get together! Heather - I hope you're okay! Everything feel okay with your belly?? How scary to fall like that so close to your due date... Jane - keep on trying! You took the first step and that's major. Now the easy part starts! Tracy - I hope you feel better! My co-worker was sick today too. I think it's the weather. It's hot, it's cold... Anyways, HUGS to you today! Terry - Hero looks so cute in the shower! My dogs hate taking baths! They are part cat I think! That loon wine that you had at lunch was so yummy. I called Cafe Express later that day to find out the name and the year so I could buy a bottle. It was quite refreshing... Pammy - man, you are so good with your workouts!! I need to set up a schedule and stick to it. I'm doing alot better than I was but I only workout when i remember to. It needs to be a dedicated spot on my schedule. I hope everyone is having a good Monday! I'm super tired still... I had too much fun this weekend and didn't get any sleep... I can't wait till 5 so i can go home and take a nap...

I also meant to ask how Russell's been doing? Has he fallen right into daddy-mode? I can't even imagine! I would be over the moon, LOL! Kat - So sad about your friend and her friend. Prayers for her. I don't know what I would do in her situation. Heather - Prayers for your nephew too! So so tiny! What did they name him? Judy - I always think of you on your teratrike when i'm out cycling! I still might get it someday! Suzie - It's always fun to catch up with family but never under your cirmunstances. But it always happens like that huh? For us too. The only time we all ALL see each other is under sad circumstances... Sucks... Okay, well I better get back to work. I'm leaving here at 11am for lunch with the girls and then I've got meetings at several of our locations and then I'm headed home. We've got playoff tickets for the Rockets game tonight so I'm super excited!!

Good morning lovies! How was everyones weekend? Mine was short! I wish we had one more day every weekend. I might have to talk to my boss about three day weekends if I work 10 hours a day mon-thurs. That would be awesomeness... My sisters party went great. She was really surprised! Me and my little sister worked diligently all day Saturday getting ready for it. We went out in the pouring rain to get last minute things and to pick up party trays. But by 6pm the sun was shining and there was a little breeze. We threw open the doors to my mom's veranda and people mingled all around the house and all around the patio. Then we danced danced danced till about 2am. It was a blast and it was worth all the work! Sunday was lazy day. We got up early and went to 9am mass, then had breakfast and then I laid on the couch with my book. Ahhhh, it was wonderful. I finally got my lazy butt off the couch around 7pm to start dinner. Juan asked his brother to come over to watch basketball so I continued my read-fest on my lounge chair on my patio. I felt like such a bum, LOL... Michelle - my thoughts are with you. Just like Pammy said, just own it and apologize if you did wrong. What did you do anyways? I don't really remember, LOL Laura - oooohhh can't wait to see our baby! Are you home now? I know you won't be posting much but know that you're always on our minds! Judy - sucks about your weather. How many months out of the year do you actually see sun and feel heat? We had rain all Friday and Saturday but it cleared up and we had a wonderful Sunday. Would you and Bob ever consider retiring to somewhere warm? Janie - i texted you my address. have you ever heard of a product called ouidad? its supposed to be for curlies. what are you sending me?? I'm proud of you Pam for not apologizing for who you are. You're absolutely right, I wouldn't want to work with people if I had to hide anything about myself... Also, I'm a total slob when Juan's not around either. If it wasn't for him I would live in a pigsty. I totally just clean for his benefit. If he leaves for the weekend my house turns into a petri dish. Banana peels on the counter, egg shells on the stove... I'm so messy, LOL. My legs are killing me this morning. I did a stupid thing two nights ago. I've been running around like crazy getting ready for my sisters birthday on Saturday. Well I came home pretty late and I hadn't eaten a thing and I saw Juan's half eaten patty melt on the kitchen island. I wolfed down the inside of it. The meat the cheese and the onions. Everything was fine, I chewed well, albeit quickly. BUT then I turned around and went and got ready to go running. My run went fine, didn't feel bad, but as soon as I got home I started getting light headed. Then I wanted to barf so bad. But of course nothing came up exept for thick spit. I heaved and heaved for about 1/2 hr. Ugh, I shouldn't of eaten then exercised so soon after. My whole chest hurt that night and all day yesterday. I did hot tea all day yesterday because I was afraid to eat anything. Pain is gone today but that was such a terrible experience for me... Will never do that again...

Doctor Pammy, please help. When I touch my arm, ouch! it hurts. When I touch my leg, ouch!, it hurts. When I touch my head, ouch!, it hurts. When I touch my chest, ouch!!, it really hurts. What could be the problem?
