Hi girls... Drive by post... Been crazy busy this past week. End of the month at my job job and with one less accountant I've been doing double the work... Then its officially our busiest time of the year at the wedding venue. Weddings almost every weekend now until the end of november... I'm so tired most nights that I just crash when I get home. Juan has really really stepped up at home and he carries most of the load now so thank goodness for that. Tomorow my dad got us tickets to go see Shakira in concert. I'm honestly not that excited about going. I'll have to rush home after work. Get dressed up. Wear heels which I hate to do. Then drudge through traffic to get downtown. Find parking within a 10 block radius of the stadium... Sigh. I'm such a bitch for complaining. I'm site plenty of people would love to go and here I am complaining about it... Ok. Nice and chilly today. I hope this weather sticks! Michelle, got my beautiful decanter last night. We will be using it at my baby shower... Thank you! Judy, I had bad dreams last night too. I dreamt a dog was chasing me and that I was running out of street? That doesn't make sense... Tonight I'm going to the store to start registering. My first baby shower is in a few weeks so I need to start... I'm excited! Everyone have a great morning!

Can't wait for laura's news! I'm so excited! I was looking at my calendar last night and october is going to be crazy for me. Actually fall will be crazy. But at least it'll make the time go by quickly! Ok back to work for me. Work work and more work on tap for me this week. I'll be glad when saturday comes...

Had a great weekend girls. I'm so tired today though. But juan was such a good husband and had the house so nice and clean. At least I don't have to worry about that. Weather turned so nice yesterday. I arrived to mild temps in the 80's and this morning it was in the 60's. Love it. All the weddings were a success! I guess I'm not as needed as I always think I am, lol. safe travels to all the traveling violets today!

yep laura, we're opposite. i'm built like a pear, LOL. i guess it's not common for people our age to get the flu shot but he should have taken a look at your belly before he acted surprised! jane - i hope you feel better before the trip. no fun flying sick! judy - i think a month is good to give it a try. i hope he finds something quick. getting ready for bed now. tomorrow is gonna be a loooonng day for me. i'll talk to ya'll tomorrow!

I'll probably pack thursday morning. I still have a load of laundry to do. I have two pants that currently fit. One pair of capris and one pair of jeans. I use them over and over along with lots of lose dresses. Laura, do you do maxi dresses? I have two tshirt material maxi dresses that I'm bringing with me to see if you want them. Maxi dresses do not look good on me. Makes me look shorter and stumpier than what I already am...

(((janie))) I so glad I'll be seeing y'all in just a few days! I need a break! The pants I'm wearing today are tight and I'm already miserable... I got my flu shot on thursday at my appointment. The nurse forgot about me in my room for about 45 min. My mom was super pissed when I told her... Um, what else... ive been working working but it seems like everything is going to come together nicely. I won't be stressed about leaving. These next two days will be crazy though...so I'm just ready for them to pass quickly.

Oh Judy! I'm so sorry to hear about joe. He will certainly be in my prayers... Jane, did you post a pic of your do? I can't see pictures on my phone so I don't know... I have to work tomorrow but am secretly happy about it. Juan is most productive when I'm not home. He had planned to do so much stuff tomorrow while I'm at work! Shampoo carpets, put away laundry. Mop the whole house. I'm excited, lol. I'm ready for next week! I got a new pair of capris in yesterday. They are kinda small but will have to do. The next size up falls when I walk. can I just tell y'all how much I love maternity pants! I want to wear them forever, lol. They hold my gut in so nicely. And they don't cut into my waist and give me muffin top... Ok well back to work for me...

Hi! Super busy here this past week. I have two weddings scheduled for the weekend that I'm gone so I've ben working with the brides and my staff to make sure everything runs smoothly. Then on top of that one of our staff accountants quits on us last week. I'm already bogged down because I'm covering another girls maternity leave and now this other girl quits. They almost didn't let me take off next week! I have to work this weekend to make sure everything is done. I'm a little stressed right now... I haven't even thought about the baby or the baby room in all this chaos. I'm 24 weeks today! Yay! Another appointment tomorrow to see how she's doing. Love y'all! Can't wait to see y'all next week...

I found ten of them! I blame it all on sophia, lol. It can't possibly be all the cake and ice cream I eat! Lol... I'm so ready for three weekend! I'm tired and want to sleep sleep sleep... am I a late arrival? I don't remember... I loved the buffet at the casino so I'm looking forward to that, lol.

Michelle, your list made me crack up! I'm laughing like a hyena and I'm sure my coworkers think I'm nuts.... Jane, why am I purple? Ha ha ha Im on a new phone now. No more pecking at a a querty keyboard. That always hurt my finger so bad. not much going on here. Just nesting at the house. We cleaned our closets and the garage this weekend. Just making sure we have enough room for all the stuff that one accumulates with a baby. Ill be six months next wednesday. I can't believe how fast it's going... Oh pam, you'll still be a violet even if you get down to 125 and have the ass of a 17 year old, lol... I could care less now what everyone weighs so it won't be any different when you're a size 6... I worked monday, can you just believe it! We have no holidays off anymore except for christmas and thanksgiving. I'm starving right now so need to go find food...

i dont understand why my letters get so big when I try to go up a size here on my home computer. it's either this tiny type or gigantic letters!

michelle, too funny! jane - that was a weird dream! and all this thinking about our trip made me realize something. I'm flying back early Sunday morning BEFORE in and out burger opens. OMG. I can't believe I did that. My hubby is so upset! i had a hard boiled egg and frozen yogurt for dinner. such nutrition, LOL... I just wasn't in the mood for anything...

And speaking about food, I'm starving!! Juan left for work early and I got used to him making my breakfast for me. I left without eating and have nothing here at work. I'm gonna go to lunch at 10am today, lol...

Happy first day back pam! I hope it goes great! I always loved the first day of school as a kid. Yay Carson! He's getting to be such a big boy! What age do kids start getting teeth? How many months? For the bedding in the crib we use it purely as decor, doesn't everyone? I would never leave the decorative pillows and stuffed animals in there while she's using it. And the blanket will also be decor, not for use. We will treat it the same as our comforter on our bed. Just decor to make the room look pretty and at night the gorgeous comforter and 30 decorative pillows come off and we pull out our very loved and very very worn blanky out of the chest at the end of the bed. Also the bumper will be off most of the time but again we will use it when company comes, ect. All moms talk about the evils of bumpers but 100 percent of moms I know buy them because it makes the room look pulled together. Same for us. We want the nursery to look beautiful. Maybe its first time mom euphoria or whatever but I'm sure all new moms think the same. I'm so tired today. Just tossed and turned all night. Juan was on a cleaning frenzy last night after we came back from my moms. I felt so guilty just lying in bed while he's picking up and cleaning bathrooms. He didn't finish until midnight and then came to bed and conked out and I just kept laying there not falling asleep. Its gonna be a looonnng day for me....

judy, oh i'm so happy for your son. I bet he feels a thousand times better now that he's able to provide sufficiently for his family. It relieves so much stress from a family dynamic when you feel like you have a strong position and a good sense of purpose in your life. I feel so so happy for him! It's so gorgeous outside and even though we have tons to do in the house we are gonna go play. First we are headed to a few fabric stores to see about the fabric for Sophia's bedding. My aunt has very generously offered to custom make all her bedding and nursery items. I'm so happy because I wasn't liking any of the bedding that I had been looking at. I went to a boutique and fell in love with some stuff but just for the crib bedding it was more than a thousand. Um, heck no. Not for baby poop and spit up. I want it to be nice but not expensive. So we'll see what I can find... have a great saturday!

Tonight dinner at my aunts house. Tomorrow we are gonna go watch salt and try a new restaurant in town. We've been home bodies lately and need to go on a date! I started feeling her at 20w 2 days. Last Saturday. Just a tiny little nudge at first but I knew what it was. Then more and more nudges. Now I feel tiny little kicks. Only about an 1/8 are felt on the outside of my tummy right now. The feeling is exhilirating... I'm ok with not riding much. I usually like all the big roller coasters and the big rides but I'm ok with just being there. Love the atmosphere too! Can't wait to take sophia to visit cinderella's castle in a few years!

Judy, I heard that the egg recall is now for michigan now too? Is that right? Are y'all off eggs for the time being or just being careful?

Yay so I lost my post. Here I go again... I'm so excited about disney! I can't wait! Will me and laura be able to ride anything? Ill be 24 weeks along... A week after I come back from PS my parents are taking us on a trip to Mexico City to see the cathedrals. I'm so excited about it too. That will be my last trip until after sophia comes... Judy, the baby is kicking up a storm now and I'm absolutely loving it. Makes me want to cry sometimes to just think that this little bitty thing is our baby. Juan was able to feel her kicks last night and he was so excited. Laura, oh Carson is getting so big! I can picture his big toothy smile when you talk about him. I can't wait to see what your room looks like finished. The furniture was beautiful! So I've got to start looking for a pediatrician. My ob's office asked me to start looking already. What criteria do I need to use? What's important and what doesn't matter?

I did get my cake! Came home, cut me a big piece and went to my rrom to mope, lol. But I was feeling better by the time juan came home so all is well again... I feel like if I popped over night. For two days I've had bad ligament pains around my back waist area and this morning I was getting dressed and my bump is jutting out. It doesn't like like a blob of fat anymore! Yay! Lol... I'm ready to tackle today. I'm feeling much better!
