Good Monday morning! Rainy and wet here today but we are supposed to have cooler temps soon so that's a big plus! I got my new car and I finally got to drive it this morning. It's awesome! New Orleans was so much fun! Have any of ya'll been? Lots of history and beautiful architecture. The food is AMAZING. We ate at so many wonderful places. Lots of the restaurants there are hundreds of years old and we were able to experience such rich culture. Walking through the cobblestone streets was so idylic. And there are so many horse drawn carriages around and so you hear the clopping of the horses feet on the cobblestones and you can feel what it must have felt like long ago. I always imagined that New Orleands was just alcohol and debauchery but we were able to see the other side of it and we are definetly going back. I'll post pics on Facebook as soon as I can. Judy - OMG, poor Bob! I'm glad it's getting better though but that sounds like a big gash... Michelle - sooo jelous of your disney trip. When ya'll go do ya'll do the same rides or do ya'll always manage to find new stuff to do? Pammy - yay on the excersise. I go back tonight after being "OFF" for 6 days! It's gonna kick my ass. I'm not looking forward to it. But i've indulged way too much these past few days and so I know I need it... Jane - Doesn't it feel so good once you've gotten started on something that you've been putting off for a loooonnngg time. Me and you are very much alike... To make the cell read what you put in there you need to right click on the cell and then click on the FORMAT CELL option. Then click on TEXT. That means that whatever you put in that cell it will take as is with no corrections... Hope that helps! Kat - have a good day at work. Is that lady still making things difficult for you? Okay, I'm outta here girls... I'm on my way to go pick up my car, then I gotta get my nails done and then dinner with a friend and then I gotta pack for my mini vacay. I hate the post office. They always manage to screw something up... Did you buy it from Etsy? That sucks that you didn't get it... What are ya'll doing in Atlanta? Just you and Russ?? can you imagine what I feel like??? I feel like I'm filled with helium and am liable to float away at any time!!! I'm so so so so so happy and excited!! And so happy that ya'll will be there to share this day with me. Ya'll have been through everything with me and Juan. Truly truly happy!

ha ha ha! I would LOVE to have him here if you wanted to bring him. What I am telling my guests is that they should take this opportunity to get away from their kids and to enjoy an awesome party with their spouse. I'm not saying no kids but I just feel like kids usually get bored pretty quick and parents have to go home at a reasonable hour, LOL... bring him if you want to though. The house that is on the property could be used for a respite from all the noise and goings on if he gets fussy or bored...

Yes, ditto on the happy dance that Pam is doing. I missed your smile Michelle! I'm glad your kids recognize how good of a mom you are! Sometimes kids don't. I think I was well into my late teens before I started to appreciate all that my mom did for us!

It wasn't letting me post! Michelle - that's awesome news! I'm so glad she came through everything ok. And yes, mom's are awesome. He's changed so much from that wrinkly little bebe I'll email out all the wedding info to ya'll so ya'll can start making hotel/flight plans...

It's 2pm and I'm barely headed for lunch... I'm STARVING now and more than likely will get stuck on my first bite because I will take a huge bite! The only time I like soup out of a can is when I'm sick. I like the chicken and stars! And ditto on the feeling good. I can think of several things that feel better, ha ha ha... Watch when I have a kid that will probably change much to Juan's chagrin... Laura - that was so nice of you to bake! I am an awful baker. Good at cooking but the precise measurements that baking takes always screw me up... How is the mood at your parents company? Does anyone else know about the letter or just you and your parents?

YOU MADE YOUR DRESS???? WOW!! that's awesome!! And yes, I think in the end everything turned out well for you :sad: Oh and about the baby crying thing... I guess I won't know that until I have one of my own but my mom has always adviced new moms of that. Let them cry it out. If they are dry, fed, not in pain, let them cry it out... I have a co-worker whose baby is almost two and he still sleeps between her and her husband. She has never been able to get him to sleep in his crib because he cries. I told her, let him cry! She does for a little bit but then she goes to him, holds him, pats him and eventually brings him to bed with them. Her husband does it too so someone always caves in. She then turns around and complains that her relationship with her husband is rocky and that they are never intimate anymore. HELLO, I wonder why???

The wedding planning is fun for the first part of it. The getting to pick out stuff part. I am dreading the invitation part of it. I think that's gonna be the most stressful part of it. My mom really really wants me to have place cards so that people are assigned to a table. I think that would be way to much work and would rather just designate VIP tables that are in the front. What do ya'll think??

Everyone is so sick! 3 of my co-workers are sick and they finally decided to stay home instead of subject us to their germs... I cannot get sick! We are going on a "wild" girls weekend to New Orleans, ha ha ha... Judy - I was watching Anthony Bourdain's show last night and he ate pasties in Montana and it showed how they are made. They look SO GOOD. I might have to make them soon. Can I use pre-made dough? I suck at making dough! Janie - did you have a good day at work? Have you talked to your doc about changing your anti-depressant? At least is it doing everything it's supposed to be doing?? I am a little scared about the swine vaccine just because they rolled it out so fast. I'm just scared that they didn't do all the appropriate testing thoroughly... Gah, I'm so glad it's Wednesday! I am so ready for the weekend! The temperature here is starting to turn. I can smell fall coming... I LOVE LOVE LOVE this time of the year. So wedding talk now - I've been looking at different invitation websites but nothing has caught my eye. I know alot of people print and assemble their own invites at home but I don't know how those turn out... I would like something that's embossed, I think. Just something that is elegant... Off to get my morning coffee... I would like a donut so bad this morning... I don't even know why I'm craving a donut, I can't even eat them!

Heather, me too! My mom keeps getting called for jury duty and she hates it. I've never been called and I soooo want to do it, LOL. Judy - I agree, the politics of the church are so sad. We go there for peace and prayer and then for all this to happen so sad. Are they still going ahead with the "consultant" to come in and "train" the pastor?

I haven't heard anything about the swine vaccine around here. I need to read the paper and watch the news. I just haven't had any time. Pam - can you believe I still haven't tasted those darn nachos? I dream about them all the time and we have a denny's right down the street but haven't made it down there... Judy - glad you got to enjoy your pool. It seems like you missed the whole beginning of the summer but were finally able to get in... My parents pool that was supposed to have been ready in JULY is still not ready. Luckily we have pretty mild temperatures around here and we can still use it in October but it will suck if that pool gets finished at the start of our "winter" season. Suzy - good luck with your job search. One of my Facebook friends had been looking forever. For like a year. And she finally started at one on Monday and today she informs us that it sucks, LOL. That really sucks!!!

Yep. The area that we built in is about 5 miles away from an area that has really declined in the past 10 years. They are trying to revitalize this area and we got in right at the start of it. We will have some years of growing pains but hopefully things will turn around. When we first got here two years ago we were the only office/warehouse building around. Now there is tons of office buildings, shops, new restaurants, ect.

Glad you're done with that! Jenn - Glad to hear you're getting better. How's your kids first day of school go? Was it yesterday? I am a walking zombie this morning... Our office got broken into last night and the security company called me at 2:30am. I am 4th on the call in list but the first two are out of town in a conference and the third person didn't pick up. I was up until 4am and then couldn't go back to sleep. Luckily they didn't take much. They threw a rock through our glass front door and took our receptionists computer, her monitor and her printer. We have another deadbolted door that leads to the inner offices and they didn't even try messing with that one. 4 break-ins in 4 years and they've never gotten into the main offices. Thank goodness... I'm dragging so I need my coffee... blah...

Good morning! Jane, I think that was me that thought that song was soooo disgusting, LOL. I love Justin and I love Andy too but just the thought of it grosses me out, LOL... Laura - love love love that pic of your boys... We were at dinner last night and I was talking to my sisters about my boyfriend (Carson) and how he was so cute and looks like a fake baby. I just love his chubby little cheeks. So cute! Pammy - hope you feel better. Three people in my office are sick and COMING IN to the office. WHY? I don't get that. Judy - Everytime you post about the bakery it makes my mouth water... I'm drinking my coffee dreaming of a muffin, LOL. How was the pool this weekend? You closing it up soon?? I was so so busy Friday and Saturday with the wedding and working late here at the office but yesterday I was able to relax and enjoy my Sunday. It was cloudy and rainy and I plopped myself on the couch with my babies and we watched mindless TV all afternoon. We then got ready for dinner and had a wonderful dinner out with my parents and Juan's mom and grandma to celebrate my mom's birthday... This weekend we are going to New Orlean's to celebrate my mom's birthday. It's all girls so we are shopping and doing spa days... Aaahhhh, can't wait...

Hmmm, I'm more of a chatter and TV watcher while I'm on the treadmill. But aren't ya'll surprised to hear what Suzie has on her IPOD???? Lady GAGA??? Ha ha ha... I LOVE HER, LOL... I love Katy Perry too. I love Fergie and Carrie Underwood. Who else? Taylor Swift, love her too... My ipod is a mess of songs from all eras and genres. It goes from polka to spanish rock to country to some old school R&B... I only use it when I ride my bike or if I'm walking on the street by myself. Other than that I am chatting with my friend or if I'm by myself watching a show. 30 minutes goes by like nothing when you're watching a show!
