Judy - I want your soup recipe. Sounds yummy. I need soup right now. I have a can of split pea that I'm gonna try to drink... Ahhh men. What goes through their head? Brandon needs some counseling. I don't think that there comes a day when all of a sudden you fall out of love. There must be something that that other person is bringing into your life that your wife can also bring. I can't belive men leave their wives and children behind to run off with someone new... I just don't understand that... As far as the minister goes... I would think even his "fans" would see the state of the church and think that he has some fault in it... I went home last night and caught up with some of my shows... Is anyone watching Survivor this season? I love love Glee and look forward to it every week. I love the songs and I love the cheerleading coach. She is awesome, LOL. We have a set of oleanders in the front of my house that need pruning. Juan says we should do it in the spring and I say we should do it in the winter. What's the right answer?

Oh Michelle - no, I don't get to ride in our "Bubbleator", LOL. The girl that drives it is the one kneeling down in the front with the blue shorts on. She's our promotions girl. It's actually a customized Hummer. When we bought it it was just plain white and then we hired a special effects company to add all this crazy stuff to it and screenprinting... We add bubble solution to a thing in the back and bubbles come out and creates a big bubble party. We also have huge speakers on the sides and they play that song "at the carwash"... People just love it and it always creates alot of buzz wherever we take it. It was a great investment...

And since it's hot it always luls me to sleep... Hey Janie! Sending positive vibes to Charlie today for you too... Seen any good plays/shows lately? We have one coming to town called "Gruesome Playground Injuries". It deals with the topic of why people hurt themselves to gain another's love. Should be interesting. My hunny bunny was super sick last night when I came home. I couldn't control his fever with Tylenol alone. Almost called my mom to come over but figured that that it's about time that I dealt with stuff myself... I made him chicken caldo and gave him TheraFlu nighttime and that finally broke his fever. He was sweating profusely and felt alot better. He took a shower, I changed the sheets in the bed and he slept fitfully for the rest of the night. Me, not so much. I kept waking up to make sure he wasn't hot... off to get my coffeeeeeeeeee

Jane - awww, that was so sweet of your parents to do that for you. Brightened your day! They love you so much... That sucks about the stuff going on at the shop. What does Charlie say about the girls leaving? Are you going to wait until something happens in order to take a decision about what your next step will be?? Barely ten till four here. Juan stopped by here a little while ago and told me to come outside so I could "feel" him. He wasn't feeling good all day. I touched his face and he is burning up. I told him to go straight home and to get into bed... I'm gonna go home, cook him some chicken soup and baby him. He started feeling bad last night but I chalked it up to tireness. Now I don't know...

Good morning chicas! How was everyones weekend??? Mine was pretty good. Friday I was able to get off early and then I had to take my poor puppy that we rescued to the vet. She's got mange and it's just eating her up. We've had her for about 5 weeks now and she's getting worse. So I had to take her back in for another round of antibiotics and another dip. She is such a sad sight to behold and she makes me want to cry just by looking at her. All I can do is try to make her comfortable and just rub her belly and tell her she's a good girl. Her belly is the only part of her that isn't scabby. Ugh, I just want to cry. Oh and then to top it all off I've had to resort to waiting till nightfall to take her for her walk because of all the stares I get from my neighbors. She's a pit and she's all scabbed over and bloody and they just look at me like I'm a monster. I just don't want to deal with that anymore. So now the poor girl has to wait to get her walk that she enjoys so much... Now, about the 5k. I did awesome if I say so myself... I got there at 6am and it started around 8:30ish. It was a hike just to get the the starting line. There were 30,000 people there! So anyways, I started out jogging and stopped a little bit after the 1 mile marker. I walked/jogged for mile 2. Then towards the end there was this uphill part and from then on I just walked. I was so happy when I went through the finish line. The clock said 1 hr 13 min but I know it definetly took me at least 15 min to get to the START line because of the crowd. So maybe about an hour?? Not bad! I think the worse part of it was after you cross the finish line you then stand around and visit and munch on your yogurt and fruit and your feet have a chance to cool off. Then you have to treck another mile to get to where you parked the car. That was horrific. I felt like I couldn't walk another step! I have so many blisters because I wore the wrong socks. I'll try to post pics when I get them... Umm, what else?? Oh Saturday night was Juan's grandma's birthday party. We had it outdoors at Juan's mom's property under the beautiful oak trees. But unfortunately it didn't stop raining the whole time! So that pretty much sucked. We are all hunched over in our umbrellas trying to stay semi dry while we are eating our food. She had hired this singer to come and sing and so put her in the gazebo and of course not that many people fit in there so the whole time we are just getting soaked. SUCKED so bad that her birthday was ruined... We didn't even get to take pictures or dance or anything. And there were sooo much family in from out of town. Family from California, Mexico City, and from Guanajuato. I stayed until midnight and by then I looked like a wet dog. Sopping hair, my dress was soaked, I was covered in my to my knees. Juan stayed until close to 2am until the last of his family went home. He really enjoys spending time with them and he didn't let the rain dampen his mood. Love him for that... Sunday was more family time. Church in the morning, then brunch with then then off to another relatives house for late afternoon lunch/dinner... I am exhausted today... I am ready to go home and crash, LOL... Laura - I hope you get to feeling better! I can't imagine being sick and still having to take care of the baby. You need purple power today! Judy - that sucks that you got the sniffles from Bob!! Grady looks too too cute!! And he's getting so big!! Kris looks great! Jane - I was cracking up remembering those lines from those movies. You have a great memory! Michelle! I finally checked my mail on Friday and I got my postcard! It's beautiful! We can't wait to go back but it won't be for our honeymoon. Walking all day and waiting in long lines is not my idea of honeymoon, LOL. I want lounging, drinks, beach and close enough to our room to take plenty of "naps", he he he... Pamela - Glad you had a great time!! You are so close to everything! Juan's family just came from Tracy, CA and they said that the weather was still hot there. They were dying in our hot humid wet weather that we had this weekend. They were miserable :/ okay, this post has seriously turned into a novel. Sorry 'bout that! Off to get some coffee and to get back to work...

Drive by post ladies... I'm swamped at work and if I get done with all my stuff I am allowed to go home at noon today so I'm just working like a busy bee to get everything done! I'm getting up at 5am to do the 5k in the morning. Please pray for me that I make it through the whole thing and dont embarrass myself by having to quit before the finish line. I'm terrified!! I'll get on tonight from home and catch up with everyone! toodle loo!

run away quickly... my heart has gotten the better of me in the past and i almost always get burned. Now unfortunately when it comes to rentor/leassor agreements I have to treat it strictly as business and not let me heart/feelings get in the way. she is backtracking on telling you to fix the cabinets. you know for a fact she told you that you had to replace/fix them. So what would prevent her from saying otherwise again in 3 months?? Do you already have another place to live?

I'm starving today for some reason. I ate pretty early last night so that might be why. I'm ready for lunch and it's barely 11am!

Good morning! Yes, it will be a great October for all of us! I plan on water water water everyday, staying away from carbonated beverages and treadmill at least 5 days a week. I need to be pumped!! Heather - my hair actually is a big dilemma, believe it or not... Juan loves my curly hair and for our wedding day he wants me to keep my curls. He said that he wants me to look natural because that's what he likes. Very sweet, yes, but for me my wedding day I want to look glamorous. I don't want to look too everyday. I want some omph. So I told him that more than likely we would be straightening my hair and then putting big curlers in it so that I get lots of big glamorous curls instead of hundreds of frizzy ones, LOL. He's not too happy about that... So we will see...

Good morning everyone!! Mae - we ate such wonderful things in New Orleans. We did not get to eat at Brennan's unfortunately! We ate at ACME house. We also ate shrimp po-boy's and raw oysters and red beans and rice and jambalaya and crawfish etouffee and turtle soup (not all at one time! LOL). We also at at Mother's, twice! We had sausage and biscuits and pancakes and grits and gravy. We ate beignets at Cafe du Monde and then one night we were so tired from walking all day long that we ordered room service. I know, so bad, but we had been up since 8am and had been walking non-stop and had blisters! Mae, did you live there for long? I loved that city! Pam - gave my dad a squeeze last night, LOL. He looked at me funny but squeezed me back and gave me a kiss. We went over there to swim again and he grilled steaks out on the patio. Wish we could do that everynight! We had tons of fun... Today it's back to our routine...bleh Jane - use your normal internet explorer instead of Firefox. Click on the blue "e" to get on the internet. Hopefully that solves your problem of being kept away from certain sites. Judy - awww, so sorry bob is sick. Men are such babies, aren't they? Give him plenty of broth and hopefully he gets better quick so he doesn't infect you! Tuesday and I've got tons of work to do! Oh and I'm doing a 5k saturday morning. The Susan G Komen Race For The Cure. Wow, 3 miles! I hope I survive... I'm up to doing about a mile and 3/4ths on the treadmill every day and I'm dying by the end... Off to get my coffee...
