Laura - i need help with a color... I went to see a designer about my invites and that didn't work out. But the color swatch that she showed me was the EXACT shade of green that I want for my wedding and now I can't find it anywhere. It's a green that starts with the letter C. I tried google and everything. I can't very well ask her since I've already told her we won't be using her... Help?

Good morning! I wish I was with Judy or with Michelle today. Anywhere other than here stuck at work... Laura - I won't be waiting 1.5 years. We are actually hoping for a honeymoon baby. Wellll, we are actually going to start trying in May. I can't wait! I'm so excited! Judy - I love Project Runway! Don't tell me who left. It's on my DVR for my late Sunday night ....... (okay, i just spent 5 min trying to figure out how to spell "winde down". I still can't do it. help!) Ever have one of those Fridays where you already feel like the weekend is gone? It feels like that to me. Instead of just relishing today I'm already feeling like the weekend is just gone. Well, we went to go meet with someone about designing our invites. Total cost was $1200.00 for 120 invites, envelopes, RSVP cards, maps ect... Juan said, NO WAY. So I start looking online this weekend... I'm having a kolache this morning. So good! I hadn't had one in so long. Problem is...it's not getting stuck. Sighhhh. I need to go get another fill soon.

Ahhh, how i wish for cooler weather! It's supposed to be high 80's here again today. Hot and muggy because of all the rain we've been having...

Go Diego Go!! too cute! Carson will be watching that soon Laura! Speaking of maternity, we had the biggest scare this month! My period was one week late and I'm never late. I'm always like clockwork! We are always extremely careful but one night last month we weren't so so much. So then ever since then I've been worrying and stressing about it and then on the day that my period was supposed to come and it didn't I freaked out even more. We were just in agony over it. We want to start a family so bad but not like this. I didn't want to be 7 months preggo at my wedding! I finally took a pregnancy test, said it was negative and I was finally able to relax. Once I did I started the very next day, LOL. It was just all the stress!!!

I love hamburger soup but mine never comes out right. Please post the recipe and i'll try it this weekend. Do you put macaroni in yours? Ok, the cake tasting was amazing last night. He brought me four pieces. One was white cake with French buttercream, one was lemon cake with lemon buttercream, one was Italian cream cake and one was chocolate with chocolate buttercream. OH MY GOODNESS they were all so good. So moist and flavorfull without being overwhelmingly sweet. And that buttercream! Pure butter! So good!! I was ready to sign a contract right then and there but my mom convinced me to wait until I go to my second tasting tonight. I'm so excited! Oh and last night I called one of my aunts that had been asking me if I had found a baker yet just so I could tell her that I found one that I liked and out of the blue she offered to pay for our cakes! That was so wonderful of her! My shirt that I'm wearing today is a maternity shirt and I didn't even realize it when I bought it. Now that I know I feel like I look funny.

Suzy - glad to hear that you signed on with Target. It's at least work until you can find something else! What a day what a day.... So much work. I paused for 15 min to scarf something down and it's been non-stop ever since. I'm headed to my first cake tasting right now. Hope it goes well!

Good morning Violets! Pam - sugar does that to me too... Makes me feel drunky... Oh and if I sleep in the afternoon it's all over for me. I'm thrown off schedule for at least 2 days... I end up staying up late, then get so tired the next day and then i have to take another nap to compensate and then again stay up late... and on and on... Judy - dog food and tuna, YUM! he he he... No, I would never be able to be a SAHM. We like our luxuries too much, LOL. We could probably do it now, since we have our rentals but #1 it would drive me nuts to stay at home, #2 if I stayed at home I would then be responsible for the whole house and everything. It would drive me nuts. #3 we would have to watch what we spend, and that would drive me nuts. I am fortunate that like Laura I have my parents that own their own business and Juan's mom owns her own business. Once I start having the rugrats I will transition over to help each of them a few days a week and all the while be able to have them with me... okay, i seriously need to get off of here and get to work... i'll be back...

Ahhh carson, bad boy... Just got back from lunch and running errands. Judy, glad to hear that at least the pastor's wife is concious of what's going on... I'm supposed to be working... ahhhhhhh. I'm so ready to not do this anymore...

I've never understood people like that. The funny thing is that they don't see anything wrong with it. I'm gonna request The Help and Precious from my library this week and hopefully I can get them soon. They both sound really good. Judy - hopefully now that someone is holding his hand and wiping his butt your guy will realize that's he's been sucking all along. but i dont think so... Today I have an appointment to go see invitations! I'm so excited. I don't have a clue what I want other than I want it to be a pocket invitation. Hopefully she has some good ideas for me. Then tomorrow and Thursday I have cake tastings going on. What flavor combos are good? I know I definetly want red velvet with cream cheese. Maybe Lemon with Rasberry?? What else?

got back from the mall. ended up buying my sister a perfume. i know i said i wasn't gonna buy her anything like that but i know she's been wanting this fragrance for a few months now. Came with a cute clutch as a free gift so thats awesome... I'm meeting up with her and her friends for sushi and adult beverages tonight. Lord help me!

I need some help. My sister is turning 24 today and I have yet to get her a present. I'm running to the mall today but don't have a clue what to get her. She's pretty spoiled so she has it all so she don't need anything but still. She's my baby sister. Any ideas? Under $50 bucks. No clothes, makeup, perfume, lotions, shoes, or jewelry. She has tons of all that and her room is bursting at the seams...

And while our shitty attitudes are keeping each other company we will be drinking frozen margaritas in the hot tub.... he he he... My weekend was busy but wonderful. We had the most beautiful wedding on Saturday. The weather was perfect, the bride was awesome to work with, her guests were all so friendly and the party was easy. We placed candles everywhere and there was twinkle lights in all the trees. It was magical. I was so tired after working all day but it was worth it. Sunday was church and then we had our 40th anniversary festival at the church. It rained the whole time. I don't think we raised the amount of money we needed to have raised. ok, i've tons of work, i'll be back later to chit chat

ha ha ha... Happy Friday Heather! Judy - that sucks about the Zumba class! You would have loved it. WOW, that is awesome that your friend has lost so much! I have a friend that lost so much too and I'm amazed because she also eats so much more than me and drinks with her meals. She doesn't excersise either. I think her difference is that she does not snack between meals. 3 meals and that's it for her. Very very nice...

You know what, this is just awesome... You would definetly feel the love. You can come visit me anytime Jane. I am so serious. Anytime you want to come. We have a spare room and I could take time off from work and I can show you my beautiful little town and we can just both take a break from all this stress in our lives!

Oh how I wish it was me getting married in November. All this planning is fun but I'm ready and I want it to just be here. 11 months is way enough time to plan it out. I already have almost everything. Cake and invitations next week and then dress at the beginning of November and then that's it. I'm not doing anything else until March... Jane - boo! I'm sorry you got up there again. That's my biggest fear too Janey. That's why I have to be conscious of each bite that goes in my mouth. I know this isn't why we got banded but unfortunately for some of us it will always be a struggle. It's helping me to write my stuff down. Every bite. So come dinner time I look back at the kind of day I've been having and decide on what I can eat... I know, it takes so much willpower to do this but WE CAN DO IT! I know we can. Hi! I'm here! I just had warehouse work today so I haven't been at my desk all morning... I am getting sick though. Stuffy stuffy nose and some congestion. But did that stop me from going swimming last night? No siree... My mom is out of town or else she would have whooped my butt. But it was warm yesterday and the water was warm and everyone else was in so I just got in, LOL... Ok, I think I might get a pressure cooker. I'll look into getting one like you Judy. One that does everything so that way I can get rid of my slow cooker and just have one thing that is taking up space. Heather - whoa, aren't you glad you are leaving?? Sounds like it might get messy but I'm glad that you have your stuff together. Janey - Pam needs to send all of us some mojo! Sending you hugs! Judy - Ok, this is the last I will say about the church thing... God has a way of making everything work out in the end. He will have to face what he has done to the church... Pam - I miss you! Why oh why do we have to work? Why can't we just be able to hop on a jet and come see each other?? Michelle - I don't know why but pets tend to crawl into crotchtall areas, ha ha ha. It's because it's warm?? Ha ha ha. Anytime Juan lays down there is at least one dog snuggled up between his legs. That's also one of the reasons that we don't let the dogs sleep with us anymore. Juan sleeps spread eagle and one dog would always want to be all up there, lol... Kat - the bubble hummer would be for the VIOLETS! Won't that be a sight to see? All these ladies wearing gold lame come pouring out of this huge bubble hummer, he he he... Glad to hear Rick is doing good. Keep us updated on your job situation... I am eating a late lunch and I'm having the best egg salad sandwich. YUM YUM YUM... I should have bought two.

If he gets them pruned properly like the site says then I might grow to like them... Judy - what ports are you visiting on your cruise?? Michelle - love those unexpected surprises! Lunch with friends is oh so fun... My throat is feeling crappy crappy crappy. Hurts so bad. I had split pea soup out of a can for lunch... Judy - wait, the soup was done in 10min? Will I be using my pressure cooker alot?? I use my slow cooker alot and that's opposite, right? LOL. I might have to go out and buy one...

How is he not in it for the good of the church and it's parishanors (sp)... I don't have a pressure cooker so I guess I will just imagine what it smells like. We don't have that soup here at our Olive Garden... Pam - I HATE him but yes, he's the only interesting one around... I hate the whole kumbaya attitude that the purple team has. The way the team leader picked the stupid comfort items when they won their last challenge so that his "ladies" would be happy. Ugh, I would be soooo pissed. And then all the stupid women on the yellow tribe. HELLO! How stupid are you?? I've never understood why people would just blindly follow what someone said... Uh no. Ha ha ha, we get so into it now. We haven't watched in a few years but decided to start up again and I'm glad we did. The place that they are at is beautiful! So sad about the recent tragedy that happened there...
