Heather - we're in the same boat! I've been resisting going up on my jean size but i have to stuff myself in them like a freaking sausage... not good. But good for you that you're being proactive about having good munching food around. I got a fill saturday morning and so far it's doing it's job so hopefully i will start losing again. I'm doing my darnest to eat like i was eating and thank goodness my band isn't letting me. Last night I defrosted fish to make but it tasted really "refrigeratorish". I guess I didn't wrap it right when I put it away. Anyway, I had to throw something together for us quick since fish was bad. I made us some cheese quesadillas on corn tortillas. I took about 3 bites and was struggling to get it down. Thanks goodness! This morning I had oatmeal with skim milk. Normally I can eat a whole cup of it and I could only get half down. Judy - that was a cute pic of Bob. He looks so handsome in his robe. I can't believe Grady has so many teeth already! I am so ready to put up all my Christmas stuff already. I want Juan to do the lights outside already but we are so busy these next few weekends. We might have to wait until DECEMBER! The horrors! LOL Laura - awww, I did see that cute pic with the twin girls. They were too cute! And I loved loved loved Carson's expression when he looked back at you... Is he saying any words yet? mama or dada? Anymore teeth pop out?? Michelle - YUM! breakfast sounded YUMMY! But I feel bad that he's having stomach issues... poor thing... Are you giving him immodium? Jane - my hair is fine. Not lighter after shampooing with dawn last night but I will do it again today. The conditioner i'm using is the pantene conditioner for black womens hair. It was recommended to me by a friend and her hair is very dry and brittle and this helps it so much. Is there another one you recommend? A very very good one?? I know the dawn is stripping my hair dry, I can feel it... Pamela - this is the first box I used too but everyone else I know used the boxed stuff and they love it and always get good results. I'm just weird I guess. I love the blonde streak that's in your hair right now. It looks so soft! Where is your training meeting gonna be at? Somewhere nice at least where you will get to do something after work?? I like work trips like that! Today is my dad's birthday and we are taking him to a nice restaurant for dinner. I still havent bought him a present so I'm headed to the mall right now to find something for him... Wish me luck!

Its just down the street from us... getting ready to head to bed. it's only 815 but i'm soooo sleepy... i was supposed to go to the gym but we got a cold spell and all i wanted to do was get home and turn on the fireplace and curl up on the couch...

I will try the dawn dish soap and see how it turns out. My poor hair! arghhhhh

ha ha ha, Heather. I can see you with carrot orange hair!! I always wanted to use sun in but my mom said it was just for white girls, LOL. :biggrin: And good for you in sticking up for yourself in all this fiasco. Most people would have just let it go since it takes so much time to document everything and follow up with everything. This isn't about the money, i'm sure, but about her trying to be a bad landlord to people. That's NOT acceptable. People work hard for their money and rent is already so high! I'm proud to say that we are very very fair and honest landlords. Juan is a pushover actually and will do most everything to make sure everything is perfect and that our tenants are happy, LOL...

can't see pix either! but i think i know what michelle got cuz i've been coveting them forever. but since my trusty whirpool has not had ANY issues or problems in 10 years then juan says no way to new washer/dryer. Jane! OH YES! please help me. I put in permanent color. It was the Loreal Natural Match in 4C. Dark brown cool. I should have gone with 4W, dark brown warm. Waaahhh. My hair looks almost blue it's so dark. Can i shampoo it and it'll fall out faster?

laura - i've never been to melting pot but we have one right down the street. do you reccommend it? what kinds of stuff did you get? mmmm, sopapilla cheesecake sounds so good! I'm trying to be sooooo good now. I had a carnation instant breakfast for breakfast. I have greek yogurt with granola for a snack and then a smart one for lunch. tonight i am making grilled fish with spinach. I CAN DO THIS. 50 lbs in 6 months. that's only around 8 lbs A MONTH. that's not hard haydee... talking to myself now... scary... Michelle - WOW, you were childless for almost as long as me! I want kids so bad but at the same time relish our time together so much. I hope I make a good transition like you did. You are awesome at it! Judy - saw some of grady's pics on facebook. AWW, he's too too cute. You looked so good too! You look radiant! I'm glad that there was a less intensive option for Zumba for you. oh, i just can't stand russell and his ego. ugh and i hate the way he plays those poor stupid girls! but he's playing the game so good and he's so wicked so i kinda want him to win. he he he... that was so freaking awesome how he found two immunity idols without a clue!

Good monday morning lovies! How is everyone today??? My weekend was wonderful. On Friday I got to go home early and Juan played hooky too. We went and had lunch at a little vietnamese restaurant, went and shopped for new bed sheets then went home and took a late afternoon "nap", he he he... Then I got up to get ready because I had a wedding rehearsal that evening along with a concert to attend. We went and saw Julio Iglesias. Do ya'll know him? He's still awesome. He's like 72 years old and still a horn dog but he still sings really really good. He had 3 young young girls as backup dancers/singers and he proceeded to make one with each one of them during the show. YUCK. Me and my sister would just cover our eyes. Who wants to see great great grampa making out with a 19 year old? Yeesh. Then Saturday we had a HUGE wedding. 200 people. It was so beautiful. Lots of candles everywhere. The night was so nice. Cool and breezy. It was over so quick though. We started setting up at 9am and finished around 4pm. The wedding started at 6pm and was totally over by 8:45. I was just stunned. All that money and work! Oh well, they left so so happy and everyone had a great time. So since we finished so early I went and picked up movies and some hair color and went over to my mom's house. We watched UP, which I absolutely LOVED and my sister colored my hair. I didn't like it! It's too dark. I miss my chocolate brown tinged with light brown. I wonder how long I need to wait before I do another dye job. This is only the 2nd time in my life that I've ever dyed my hair. First time was when I was 21 and they ruined my hair. I wanted light brown highlights and they made my hair super light brown all over and with BLONDE highlights. UGH, it was a mess. And I had to suffer with hideous roots for months because I wanted to grow it out. It was a horrendous experience so then ever since then I've never done it again. But my grays were getting so bad and I couldn't hide them anymore so then I had to do something about it. Oh well, I will try shampooing it and see if the color fades quicker. Sunday we spent the day on the couch and then back in bed, then back on the couch, then finally got in the shower around 6pm and went to go see 2012. It was a good date movie! I haven't paid much attention to the whole Mayan predictions hoopla so I just took it as a good action fiction movie and didn't try to read anything else into it. It was exciting, lots of blowing up things and car chase things. It was long but didn't really notice it because it kept you entertained. 2 thumbs up for a date movie! Then after the movie last night we came home and caught up with Project Runway on our DVR. Who watched Project Runway? Who are you cheering for?? Right now I love Althea and all her stuff but Carol Hannah really really has nice stuff too. Irena just gets on my nerves. I have always felt that if you need to put other peoples work down it's only because you have insecurities about your own stuff. I like her stuff but don't like that she needs to resort to that.... Anyhoo, sorry for the novel. Had lots of stuff going on. Can't wait for ya'll to meet my fam so I can talk about them first person. My dad went hunting this weekend and he shot a 290 lb wild boar. Juan goes in two weeks and all I want him to bring me home is a HUGE turkey. If he shoots a deer then we give all the deer meat away. I don't like the way it tastes! Ok, lemme catch up with ya'll and see what ya'll were up to! I'll be back...

Heather, I'm the same way as you. I can't eat much before noon but after that?? Small livestock beware! I'm going for a fill this Saturday. Last time she wouldn't give me anything because she said I was tight tight tight, but again, this was at 8am. If i'm tight tight tight how do I manage to eat a WHOLE burger, two buns?? And by the way the lamb recipe sounds delish even though i don't like lamb. I would make it with stew meat! Can you email me the recipe? Could I serve it with cous cous?? pammy - sorry about your shitty day with your fridge. That totally sucks!!! I would take your friends advice and you and susanne go down there and play good cop bad cop, LOL... Judy - saw that you backed up your hard drive. i've never done that! should i just to be safe? How much was your thingy that you bought to use as the back up thinger? jane - did you get your cpap machine fixed up?

ohhh Jane, i'm glad you didn't start. That would have sucked... what a gorgeous day it is here today. I wish i was outside! perfect day for taking a walk through the woods. might go do that this weekend... Laura - that sounds fantastic, meeting up with friends once a week. Wish I was closer so we could do the same with ya'll! Pamela - wait, did i miss something? are you out sick? is it the flu? hope you get to feeling better!! Janey - I'll pray to God for you! I don't usually pray for something specific, what I will pray for is that your quality of life doesn't diminish but instead improve. Michelle - I'm glad you were able to get that extra little job. Yay for you... or is it?? he he he... It's money, right? More and more work on the agenda for today. I'll be so glad to be done with this tomorrow morning when we meet with the bank. yeah, email it to me please. i'll pick up the stuff for it tonight and turn on the crock pot in the morning so we can have a hot meal for dinner tomorrow. tonight we are having something with ground turkey because that's what i'm defrosting in the fridge right now. any ideas? ground turkey, easy peasy?

oh and YAH, don't they know I have a wedding to plan! My gosh, everything should just stop so I can concentrate on my big day! he he he he... Wouldn't that be wonderful??

Ima have to try it... I've been gaining weight because i've been to busy to cook so we eat junk! Juan has gained a few pounds too. Ugh. I need to get my sh%t together! Janey - the wedding we had on Saturday paid extra to have the china and the real glasses so yes, it was extra extra work. We have staff for all that but still, I have to be there to supervise. I don't wear a uniform just a nice outfit. I always always wear black ballet flats and then usually black slacks and a nice shirt or a black skirt and a nice shirt. I make the staff wear black slacks and white shirts. For my wedding I am making them wear a little black vest too. Just looks more formal. Where oh where is Judy this morning! OH yes, her laptop is on the fritz! Hope everything is good with you! Laura, oh Laura, how is my baby? He better now that his first little tooth is in?? So last night I got out of here late and then I still had an appointment with a bride at the house. So i'm rushing to get there and she STANDS ME UP! I was so pissed! That is so inconsiderate of people. I'm in that huge house all by myself at 7:30pm. She sucks...

gahhhh, i'm having such a horrible week already! sorry to just come on here and just dump on ya'll. the girl upfront left us in a lurch suddenly and now we are bogged down with all this MINDLESS TRIVIAL crappy work! it's just so mind numbing and time consuming. And meanwhile my REAL work has just been pushed aside and my deadline is Wednesday because we have to have our reports in by the 15th to meet our covenants at the banks. ARGHHHHHHHH... The wedding was beautiful on Saturday. We couldn't of asked for a nicer crisper fall day. The bride looked gorgeous and the party ran long. They paid extra of course but still, it's exhaustign to have them party until 1am and then have to pick up and clean up at that hour. Sunday I was a vegetable. I went to my mom's house, planted my ass on her couch and let her mother me the whole day. We watched movies, looked through wedding magazines and ate junk all day long... Today is horrific. It's 3:41pm and I'm barely having a chance to sit at my desk and turn on my computer. I've been pulling orders all morning and then going through the PILES of mail that she had neglected to open last week since she knew she was leaving. AWESOMENESS... Michelle - your sunday sounded like fun! It sounded like my sunday but in reverse, he he he. My mom made us cinammon rolls and eggs and bacon too! Judy - sorry about your knee and your DELL!! that sucks! I had a dell and it lasted us many many years before we finally had to put it to rest last year. Remember when I was having so many computer problems?? I got me a cheap no brand but it works good! Pammy - saw you great pics on FB. Your hair looks good! And you look good too!! Everything looked like so much FUN! We go to the Pride parade here in Houston and we always have a blast... Jane - sorry about your computer problems too! You need to take it in to Best Buy and they'll do a diagnostic for you and tell you how much it would be to fix it... Didn't you just love Tim's cakes?? He's awesome. And so affordable! I can't wait for ya'll to try it! Hmm, what else??? That's about it... I'm pooped and ready to go home but still have massive amounts of work left. hey girls, no time to catch up on posts. I've been super busy at work. One of the girls quit here and we've had to all take up extra work. I'm ragged. And we've got a huge wedding at the house tomorrow... I'll try to catch up with ya'll this weekend...

Oh wow. That's hard to even read let alone deal with. I can't imagine what I would do in your situation but I agree with Michelle, he's truly lucky.

Michelle - it might be a sinus headache if it's hurting through your eyes... Does it help if you push against your forhead area? When that happens to me it's a sinus headache... Jane - i would LOVE to see you in a barney costume, he he he... You would be the cutest barney ever!! Pamela - that sucks about your work situation. What is making it so dificult? or what is the person doing to make is so dificult. It's always hard when your work life is less than ideal. You spend so much time with with co-workers that it should at least be "pleasant"... I'm officially all caked out! I had my third and final tasting today. It was not good. I'm for sure going with my first choice. www.timtations.com He does not have a fancy location, he's quiet and doesn't offer up alot of suggestions but his cakes taste AMAZING. And that's what I want, amazing taste. The two other bakeries I went to were all fancy schmancy. They had nice big shops with lots of styrofoam cakes out, a million pictures, lots of cake samples but their cakes were too dry and their icing was way sweet. So that's another check mark. I also found my DJ and am getting ready to sign a contract with him. I also found my cloth for the linens and have scheduled someone to come out and measure the tables so that I can buy the fabric so we can start production. YAY YAY YAY... things coming together nicely...

Judy - I wish they brought BIG pieces but alas it's like petit four size... just enough for two bites and for you to figure out if you like it or not... We rented a huge dumpster when my parents moved away from our childhood home to the home they live in now. It was so much fun chunking stuff out the two story windows down to the dumpster below. Why do we hold on to so much stuff?? I guess we think someday we will use it or our children will want it... I think I kept one box filled with stuff from my childhood. Drawins, diaries, shoes, baby dolls ect. And the rest was chuked... Mae - your nephew is just too cute in his dragon costume. He's so big for two! And judy, I meant to comment on Grady's pic on facebook but I kept on clicking through to see all of them. He is so big!!! And his huge blue eyes!! Too cute. He's gonna get away with murder! I would never be able to say no to him for anything if he just looked at me with those big blue eyes, LOL... Too too cute...

ahhhhh, that looks delish michelle! YUM! I love whip cream. I am craving chinese food today for some reason. OH yes, Judy was talking about chinese yesterday. I think I might get a wonton soup to go. Heather - please post a pic of Ayla in her zebra costume, can't wait to see it. Oh and yes, my sisters are gorgeous... My mom too, LOL. We have good genes! ha ha ha... Judy - mall walking sounds so good! I'm gonna go during my lunch hour today. I have to go drop off a payment at Macy's and then I'll stroll around and see what's new! Jane - i too am guilty of letting stuff fall by the wayside... We wake up on the weekends with good intentions of cleaning and sorting but then nothing gets done... We start watching a good movie or someone calls us out to play! And of course we always make the excuse that we will just do it another day... but it never happens. Hello girlies! Yes, very busy today Judy. End of month so I'm swamped at work. And then tonight we are doing carpet shampooing at home. I want everything shampooed and just clean. We've been having a hard time potty training the newest addition to the house. We will take her out for her walks and then we come home and she promptly runs to my room to pee. Yuckola... We have to be extra careful with her and watch her always... We need to keep working with her on that. So for now it's carpet shampooing every few weeks and looks like we might change to hardwood floors in all the bedrooms pretty soon. I was tired of carpet anyways and I love my mom's house that has hardwoods in her bedroom. Much less dust and dander floating everywhere. So i have a friend. I've had this friend for a loooooong time. Since we were 15. And she's always been wishy washy with me. And I hate that. And I push her out of my life for awhile but then I start to miss her so then I start talking to her again and then she reminds me of why I don't have her in my close circle of friends. Anyone have a friend like that?? I've tried talking to her about it and I've "broken" up with her many times. But then she starts coming around again and asking me to do stuff with her and I start listening to her and then WHAM, all over again. She's been talking about getting together for a few months now. I keep telling her vaguely, yeah soon. Finally today I accepted her offer to meet for dinner. I said, this week my schedule is open. You choose what day and time works best for you. So then she's like, I can't Wed or Thurs because i have class. I'm like, fine whatever day is fine. Then she's like, I can't any day after 730pm because of such and such. I'm like, fine, whatever is fine. Then she's like, this week is so bad for me let's just talk about it next week. ARGH, that just grates my nerves. She acts like I'm the one trying to get her to come out with me! I'm just like, whatever...

Good morning everyone! What a gorgeous day it is here today. Sun is shining so bright and it's just a little bit cold. I LOVE this time of year. Saturday was so much fun. After a short wedding in the morning I went over to my mom's to get ready for the halloween party. My sister helped me with my makeup and hair and it turned out pretty scary! Juan was a hippy and I painted his beard on and it looked great!! Sunday we got up, went to breakfast at his mom's house and then went on a mini-road trip. We drove north and saw lots of fall foliage and had lunch at a small old fashioned boarding house style restaurant. Fried chicken and all the fixings... We ate lunch, walked around the little town for awhile then started the drive home. It was only 6 when we got home but already dark. Hate this time change. I'll try to post some pics of our costumes... Judy - Grady looked too cute!!! What did Ethan dress up as?? Laura - goldfish are so yummy! All kids love them... Pamela - what did you dress up as? show us pics! Jane - glad you were finally able to get on here... Have fun at lunch today! Mae - that's so AWESOME that you're almost to goal!!! Cograts!!
