Hi! Yes, just insanely busy! Wish I could post from my phone but it won't let me log in ever. It's crazy town over here. My work schedule has been reduced due to slowwwwww sales. So I'm trying to do 5 days worth of work in three. Not happening. Everyone else says fudge it but I'm too responsible. Also helping out at home since my dad is on rest right now. I've been over there almost every night helping my mom around the house and helping her catch up on paperwork from her business too. THEN, our Posadas started on Wednesday. Do ya'll remember me talking about it last year. One night at someones house for 9 days? Mine was last night. OMG how stressfull. I don't think I'm doing it next year. I bought a side of chuck roast to make pot roast. Trimmed it all up and cut it up into big chunks and put it in 4 crock pots at 2PM thinking that would be plenty of time. Come 7pm and the friggin meat is still hard as heck. While everyone is praying I'm pulling meat out of the crock pots and cutting it into even smaller pieces and trying to decide if I should just order pizza. Well I tried to make them pray as long as possible and sing extra songs. And I even made them do the pinata first before dinner even though it's usually afterwards because I wanted the meat to keep cooking. Luckily it was just enough time to give them meat another hour to cook and it came out perfect. Whew! Everyone finally left around 10:30pm and me and Juan got busy cleaning up. We didn't finish until midnight and we were exhausted but my house is clean again. So anyways, my boss just told me that we are going to be working 3 day work weeks until the end of February. That sucks! I'm trying to pay for a wedding here! And property taxes are due! And Christmas! Argh! Still haven't done Christmas cards. I probably won't have time to work on them until Sunday. If I send them Monday will they still make it in time for Christmas? Hmmm... Michelle - I'm so so sorry I didn't get that pic to you in time. I have the pictures on my laptop at home and I've hardly been home this past week. I would of had Juan email them but that folder that they are in has tons of other pics that I'd rather him not see, LOL. Nothing bad just lots of pics of friends and sisters and he would just have a field day if he got ahold of them... LOL So we have our New Years plans set. My parents are having a huge party. Juan's whole fam is coming too. Yay, no going back and forth this year. Love that. I know pammy is going to go see KC. What's everyone else up to? Anything exciting???

Great job Mae! You are so close!! You'll be at goal in no time! Suzy - that sucks about the job prospects and about the Omnipaque. What's the issue with your band? Is it at capacity and you're still able to eat alot? Judy - what kind of meat do you put in your pasties? I liked all the pictures on FB. I really need to get a new camera. Pam - so glad to hear about you getting a trainer! That's great news and will benefit Klausy so so much. He will really really bring so much love into your already loving home. Glad the party was a hit! I was thinking about you Friday. We were laying around being bums at my mom's house, LOL. Laura - how did your turkey and waffle thing taste? Was a weird combo but not any weirder than fried chicken and waffles with syrup over everything which is a staple here in the south. Jane - who did you go with to the concert? Were ya'll the youngest people there?? LOL Michelle - Hope you're having fun! I love lemoncello (sp?) I have a friend that makes them once a year and they are so so yummy... Well, I was supposed to be off today but I have tons of work to do so I had to come in. I keep getting people coming into my office for me to do stuff for them so it doesn't look like i'll even get to do the work that i came to do today. Is that a tongue twister?? I was supposed to be off Friday too but nope, too much work. I seriously need to just shut the door and just put a DO NOT DISTURB sign on. I need to finish this so I can TAKE MY DAYS OFF like we were instructed to do... Everyones taking days off williy nilly as they please but not me!

Hi girls! Sorry I didn't check in but my phone ran out of battery while we were in the hospital yesterday and I had forgotten my charger. They released my dad last night and we brought him home finally. They had told us around 9am that they were going to release him soon and it didn't happen until close to 5pm. Grrrrrr.... But he's doing fine. Being doted on by all his girls. We are giving him lots of attention right now. My mom is with him right now because we all had to go back to work and school but I will leave here in a little while and go stay with him while she goes in to work for a bit. He's not allowed to move his left arm too much and definetly not above shoulder level so we are having to watch him like a hawk. He's very impatient and fidgety so he can't lay still for long periods of time. He doesn't like watching TV or doing quiet stuff. He would rather be outside digging or doing something active. Sooo it's hard. It's like entertaining a 2 yr old, LOL. Thanks again for all your prayers and good thoughts. I'll be back in the catch up with ya'll in a bit...

awww poor Kirby. My dog Coco was also limping on three legs awhile back and after x-rays we were told she has severe athritis and a torn ligament. She was put on a strict diet and we excersice her and her condition has improved. She walks fine now, no limp. Vet said she does not need surgery anymore. I slept very badly last night. I woke up around 3am because i heard something. A noise or a knock or something. I got up to look around, check all the doors and nothing. But then of course I couldn't go back to sleep. I finally dozed off around 545am but then woke up late for work. My company is struggling right now. We are trimming corners left and right. My boss offered us the option of going to a three day work week for the rest of the year for reduced pay. That means that I have time to go and help my mom with her business during her busy season. I'm so happy!!! Well not about the company's bleak outlook but for the fact that this flexibility has opened up for me....

Yeah, bands are weird sometimes. It depends on your mood, the weather patterns, your global positioning, LOL. So many factors... I can't PB. It won't come back up. It just sits on my chest and I just drool and drool and drool. Buckets of drool...

i'm the same way with my fills. can't eat much but will nibble nibble nibble until i'm in pain. for lunch i got a small pack of chicken nuggets from chick fila. i've been eating one every 10 min or so. well on my fourth one i guess i didnt chew well enough and now it's stuck and i have big time hiccups and i keep walking around flailing my arms in the air but it's not going up or down... aaaahhh, it hurts...

me too pam! wish i could come, sounds wonderful and fun! michelle - i actually learned the trick from my little sister. when she had friends sleep over she would pull the mattress off her bed and drag it into the game room so that way all the girls had somewhere to lay. some on the couches and some on the bed. I thought about it Friday when I came home and the house was chilly. I wanted to lay in bed but also be in front of the fireplace, so we did both! he he he... Did ya'll hear about those party crashers at the white house. That's so scary that they were able to just waltz on in... Just catching up on stuff today, this is old news... but yeah, scary...

oh FUN! I love KC and the sunshine band! They are a good dancing band! You will have so much fun! Our weather people go crazy here too for little changes in the weather. Anytime it's going to be a little bit more colder than usual or for instance like Friday when it snowed a little it was weather all morning long on the local channels... We got to go home early early Friday. Like at noon! Because it was snowing. But by the time I got home it had stopped, LOL. And this morning my boss told me he got in trouble with the big boss because he let us go home early and by 1PM the snow had stopped and the sun had come out. We had a beautiful sunset that day, LOL. Oh WELL. I had a very restfull weekend. I meant to do the tree and the lights and clean and do laundry and we said eff it. We pulled the mattress off the guest room bed and put it in the middle of our living room. Turned the fireplace on and snuggled in front of the tv with the dogs and tons of blankets. We got up for a few hours to attend a party on Saturday night but came home around 9pm and put a movie on and got right back into bed. Finally yesterday around 8pm, we got our lazy asses up and put the bed back and put the house into some semblance of order. But it was fun and relaxing and very restfull. We both needed it. Juan's been so sick and hasn't been able to get better because he's just always on the go. Tonight I'm meeting some friends that i've had since high school and we are going to do our little Christmas dinner and gift exchange. So excited. Love these girlies but don't get to see them very often because everyone is so busy! Typical monday here. Kinda blah outside. A little chilly. Tons of work just like always. I'm so ready for May!

Pam - love love love that Pink song. It's on my IPOD and like to sing along to it when it comes on. Your post from yesterday made me crack up. I can't believe she was treating ya'll like little kids! I would have just closed my book and starred at the wall or something, LOL. Judy - love your do! We are getting flurries here today! It's gonna look like Michigan! NOT! he he he... I can count on one hand the times we've gotten snow here in Houston so everyone is going crazy and all excited. SCHOOLS WERE CLOSED and ROADS ARE BEING CLOSED! It's hilarious! I wish I could take a pic of it but it's just light light flurries that melt as they are coming down. Michelle - awww, my heart swells when you talk about your kiddos. Such a proud mama. We're all proud of him too. Like if we did any of the parenting, LOL. Oh well, we will take credit from the fact that you come on here to vent with us and that allows you to be a better, more supportive mama to them. So that's how we contribute, LOL! Heather - poor Ayla! There was something that Laura was using on Carson when he was teething oh so bad. Or was it for colic? Gah, I don't remember now. Ask her... I think Judy's Kris was using it too? Laura - We need chomper pics! Tell my boyfriend to smile big and show all his teeth and snap a pic! How's your Christmas shopping coming along? Are you taking him with you when you go? Jane - so glad to hear that you had a busy day at work yesterday! Hopefully things pick up for you more and more... Tracy - Prayers are with you and Robbie! I'm glad that you are getting him help with this. How are you doing so far? You sound so happy! Have you filed for divorce yet?

My SAVE the DATES are innnnnnnnnnnn!! YES! I've been working on getting my list together and then issues with the linens. I might end up renting them instead of buying all the fabric to make them... My best friend is having so many issues right now. Last month she found out that her long time boyfriend fathered a child with another girl. And then to top it off her parents have been having marital issues and her dad left for a short vacation and is not talking about not coming back. She is seriously hanging on by a thread. Just trying to be strong for her right now. Then another one of my best friends and her husband bought a bar/lounge place and they had their grand opening scheduled for tonight and it just so happens that the whole friking city is gonna be shut down because we are getting some flurries. We are not used to this phenomenon so people dont know how to drive in it and tons of accidents so the city just shuts roads and overpassed down to be safe. But UGH, hope there is still a good turn out for tonight. They sunk alot of money expecting a big turnout. Pray for her! Pray for both of them!

Judy - good luck with your meeting tonight. And you make me want a KINDLE so bad!!! I would be so bad though, buying books left and right, LOL. How much is each book?? I have yet to begin my Christmas shopping. Won't be much this year since we are saving for the wedding and saving for the honeymoon. I think we are getting all the kids movie packs. Free movie rental, bag of microwave popcorn, candy, all in a big popcorn bowl with cellophane and a bow.

aaaahhh, I'm having a nice hot hot chocolate this morning. Sun is shining, it's not too too cold. Making turkey flautas for dinner tonight, it's gonna be an awesome day. OH! I gotta show ya'll my save the dates! Let me see if I can get them on here...

Hi Janey - small steps. that's what's been working for me. And you need to find a good fill doctor. Did you ever go get a flouro done? Are you still wide open and able to eat whatever you want?? Pam - books sounds good! I'll put it on my list. Your workshop sounds excrutianting. Sorry you have to go through it but glad someones doing it, LOL. And yes, I wish I would have gone a more simpler route but too late now. The party is more for our family and friends. We are just blessed to have so many, LOL. So, one of my friends on facebook made a crack about how global warming is fake. OMG? I don't know if she's serious or not and I don't know if I should comment or not. She is a bright, intelligent woman and I'm not sure why she is saying this.

he he he, yep! it was the bubbleator that busted the budget! And you have an idea with the crock pot roast, hmmm. I wonder how that will go over with my mom! I would love it, he he he... No what busted the budget is that I have caviar tastes on a subway budget. My photog and video, expensive. My dress, a little expensive. TWO veils, sighh.... tres expensive. Makeup/hair person, expensive. Valet, ditto. Grrrrrr...

I want a Kindle too but will have to wait till next year, after the wedding. Jane - How was the play? How was your Thanksgiving? Michelle - what did you buy yesterday?? I didn't even bother looking. My bank account is so sad right now, LOL. Tracy - Good to have you back! How did you do during Thanksgiving? The budget I had set out for the wedding is DEPLETED. My goodness, money goes fast. I still have the DJ, linens, liquor, and catering. Those are HUGE! Juan is gonna kick my ass now that I have to add money to the account. Not good... We set a budget and I went over big time... I'm going to go to the bank today to get a statement so I can show him exactly where I spent the money on so that we can see how much more we are gonna need. And this time I'm really really sticking to the amounts, LOL.

Aaaaahhhhh, it feels good to be home again. I missed all my Violets! I hope everyones Thanksgiving was awesome! We had a great time at both houses. I didn't eat that much because my fill is awesome. At both houses I nibbled on the turkey spine. Lots of little bits of meat there. Had some mashed potatoes and some green bean casserole. OH but the kicker was that I couldn't fit in any pie so I took a big piece of coconut cream pie home with me. And while I was running around doing laundry and packing for our trip I managed to eat a giant slice of coconut cream pie and a half a giant slice of pumpkin cheesecake. Left the crust on both if that's any consolation, LOL. We left for Mexico bright and early Friday morning and had an awesome three days at my granparents house. I am so blessed... I'm off to catch up with your posts!

big hugs to all my violets... ((((judy))))) so sad to hear about your friend. She was way too young. But we can all find solace in the fact that she is in a better place now and looking down and watching over friends and family. How hard it must have been for Bob to do her funeral. I'm sure he was torn up inside. And as far as the new pastor not offering a word of condolansces to you?? You can tell right there what kind of person he is. At times like this we put our differences aside and focus on the healing. I feel sorry for him... (((((pamela))))) sending you hugs and kisses every day! I know it must be so hard for you but focus on the GREAT life that you have with your partner and your friends. We all love you very much and hate it when you're sad. Hope the sadness passes soon and you get get back to your old self... In the meantime, pass me some cupcakes! LOL... Laura - OMG! HOW FUN! Awww Carson meeting the fat man for the first time... Can't wait to see pics! Enjoy every little last bit of his first Christmas where he is aware of all the fun going on around him. Wish I could be there too! Jane - don't like rap in plays either. You're not an old foggey! We went to go see A Christmas Carol last night after we got out of our retreat. It was awesome. Such a great cast. Michelle - you must be a flurry of activity. You're like a blur flying around your house right now! Still have tons to do as far as getting your house ready? Are the kids excited?? I loved the napkin story and already passed it along! My weekend was incredible! I'll go into details later though because right now I am swamped with work.

I'm so excited and nervous about the Engaged Encounter. I don't know what to expect so hopefully it's fun. We have to be there tonight at 7 and we come home Sunday at 6pm after mass. aww judy, ethan is so blessed to have you in his life. so are your kids! But it does suck that you have to give up so much of your time to raise yet another child... I really really give you props... michelle - ewwww on the pumpkin pie man! And that's my most favorite favorite pie. I could eat it all day and night... Laura - I want my tree up too!! But we are gonna have to wait a little bit. My ornaments are all collectible european glass ornaments and the puppy that we have right now tears around the house in a frenzy when he wants to play. I'm gonna wait another few weeks and see if his puppyness goes down a little bit...

heather, come down to where? i've never heard of a moose lodge! 50 people sounds like so much fun! Our family get togethers used to be huge but a few years ago there was a huge blowout and everyone just scattered. Now it's my little family and my mom's best friends family that gets together. Pammy - can't hear on this puter so i'll watch the clip when i get home too! Laura - i meant to say yesterday how cute cute cute Carson is with all his sexy hair, LOL. It's coming in nicely! he's such a cute little booger. i just want to eat him up! Janey - do you ever watch tabithas salon takeover?? We love that show! I like that she straightens everyone up and gets rid of the riff raff, LOL... Michelle - your thanksgiving sounds like fun! except for all the work! But I love hosting people at my house too. Someday it will be my turn... I'm ready too! I've got all my nice dishes and nice crystal and nice linens! Someday! Judy - you are once busy grandma! Both my mom and Juan's mom have already told us very very nicely that they will not be babysitting on a regular basis, LOL. They are going to be the grandmas that come over, spoil the child rotten and then sweep out in a cloud of perfume! I'm just loving this weather we are having. I'm loving that today is Thursday! I'm loving that I get to go to a church retreat with my hunny this weekend. I'm just happy happy happy...

ha ha ha, too cute! I've heard of worse! But ya, a dead mouse is pretty bad... all this talk about teething babies makes me scared! crying for hours on end with no way to make them feel better?? boo!! that really sucks... I don't know if we are ready for that. But can we ever be ready? Today has just been a mess! My computer has been all messed up. I was on a co-workers computer all morning. And the dork left her facebook open so i was commenting on her status pretending i was her, LOL. Nothing bad just really random stuff. She is gonna crack up when she checks it in a few minutes he he he... Judy - oooohhh Jetta! That's not the first time she's stolen baked goodies from you. My rescued dog Brownie has gotten so big that she can now reach the Breakfast bar in my kitchen. Anything I leave up there for more than 10 min is fair game for her... She has such a good nose and starts sniff sniff sniffing the air as soon as i put something down... We have to be so careful now... Other than that, normal busy day here. Tons to do as always. Looking forward to next week. So what's all everyone doing for thanksgiving again? Pamela - i see that you're relaxing and getting over surgery... Anyone traveling? We are going to Mexico to visit my grandparents the day after Thanksgiving. But the actual day we are going over to my mom's best friends house to have thanksgiving with her. Her turn this year. Then in the evening we will go see Juan's family for a bit... I've been doing so good with my eating. Thank goodness that my freaking band is finally working again. I want to stuff my face but it won't let me...
