Yep, we have a whole kitchen here at the office. I usually keep cottage cheese, greek yogurt, fruit, cereal, milk, granola. Some healthy frozen meals, soup at hands. I usually have tons of stuff to choose from. But because I knew december I was gonna be out most of the time I never replenished my stock and now I'm paying for it. I did manage to find a little bit of granola left and an old yogurt that expired in Nov that isn't mine. I went around and asked all my co-workers who's it was and the girl that it belongs to told me to throw it away. But since it's fat free it's still good! I asked her if I could have it and she said go ahead, LOL. I am now reduced to scavenging for food, LOL. During lunch I'm going to run to the grocery store and re-stock. I can't be starving because that's when I'll eat everything not nailed down! I was already dreaming about what naughtiness I could have for lunch...

ooohh pam, hope the adjustment you did to your desk helps! How's Ciara doing? Is she back in school yet? And YES I just saw Mariah's speech on yahoo. Hilarious! She was so bombed, LOL. I am STARVING and brought nothing with me for breakfast and there is nothing here in the office to eat. This sucks! I need to prepare myself better...

It's cooooolllldddd over here too Michelle. Not loving this weather... I did not want to get out of bed this morning. It was so warm. Last night we stayed out late looking for Juan's stuff. We had to go to three stores because basically hunting season is over so no one had jackets anymore. In reality I think our guys needed a break from us that's why they are leaving for the weekend. They just needed a testosterone filled weekend after so many weeks of doing holiday stuff with all of us girls. They are all SO READY and so excited even though it's gonna be FREEZING. They don't care... Juan got lucky too because this weekend is a wedding show and we needed to go look for linens and he's getting out of that! Judy! I'm so jealous! I wish I was leaving for vacation NOW instead of in March. I'm so so looking forward to it. Do you take your FLIP when you go on vacation? Pammy - did ya'll end up buying your ticks last night? So happy to hear from ya'll! Janey - are you frozen over there too?? How cold does it get by you? Michelle - that plan you posted was exactly what I need to be doing... No refined sugars and no sodas to start off with. I am so sugar addicted from the holidays... I became addicted to soda once again. I just need to quit cold turkey... Tonight is our LAST holiday party. I'm so happy for that...

ah, hello my violets. so so cold here... pam - i'm so so sad to hear about that little girl and the loss of her whole family. I can't even imagine what that will be like for her. I'm so glad the community has embraced her and that hopefully she will get some support. Judy - you are doing so awesome! You are my inspiration! I need to get on the ball... From here on out I'm going to be doing everything I can to try to get my weight down. Not only to look awesome in my wedding dress but we are going to start to try to conceive on our honeymoon so I want to be at a healthy weight... Michelle - you too! you are doing awesome with your accountability. Oh and you're gonna love isla mujeres. the Water is so beautiful there. Pammy - ya ya ya i'm so jealous of all your exsersising! however it's spelled! I heard that it's so warm by you right now. so jealous. Did you end up finishing your organizing?? Sorry i've been MIA but I've been working for my mom these past few days since i've been off of work. 5am until 4pm and i'm just exhausted when I get home. I'm actually ready to go back to my 8-5 job tomorrow but I'm glad I could help her these past few days. We were super busy because most other stores in the area closed for the holidays so her sales went UP! Oh then also I've been doing wedding stuff these past few days. Had a meeting with my florist yesterday, then the mariachi today. Sunday we went to get the boys fitted for their tuxes. Saturday after work we went to go figure out what we want to do for the favors. OH and the most important thing of all. My venue we are holding the wedding has been held up because of permits. We are having the hardest time trying to get the last of the permits so we can continue construction. In the grand scheme of life this is so petty but for me right now it's so important and I'm so so sad about it. We might end up having to rent a tent and do it outside because it might not be ready in time. Anyway, i've cried enough about it. Right now I've just accepted it and moved on... anywho. what else? oh yes, tonight we are going to the outdoor store to get juan some new hunting boots and a new jacket. he leaves friday for four days... I hope he doesn't kill anything. I'm so bad but I pray for it, LOL....

Hiya violets! Hope everyone had a wonderful time celebrating. We had such a good time with family and friends. Continued with the festivities yesterday all day too. Today was finally the first day we got to breathe. Met with the florist today. I'm all set for all flowers for the wedding. I had such a hard time deciding what I want. All flowers are so pretty to me. We are over at my mother in laws now. Having coffee and cookies with her. We are getting ready to start watching the lord of the rings trilogy. Everyone have a good night!

Michelle - I'm so glad you liked it. It's my favorite lotion and soap and I find that lavender scent just intoxicating. They have a whole line of all natural products that I love. Laura - oweee, poor bebe Carson. Didn't know they pulled baby benadryl. On tv I always hear about people joking about giving their children benadryl so they could pass out and I always thought, they are just putting ideas into crazy peoples heads. And sure enough, they did. WOW, some people are just nuts. I hope he feels better soon. I wish I could help with some magical natural remedy but when I asked my mom she said whiskey too, LOL... I seriously can't wait to get out of here. I'll be off for FIVE DAYS!!! YAY YAY YAY YAY... Meeting the florist on Saturday and the coordinator on Monday. Mariachi on Tuesday. Everything is just coming together... Aaaaaaaahhhhh, I can't wait!

Jane - YUM! your gum drop cookies are going to turn out so pretty with all those colors. Are you mixing them into the batter or just putting them across the top? Judy - have so so much fun and be careful driving! Ugh, I'm here at work this morning. NOT fun! I work a full day then I have to get home and I'm in charge of making a brocoli, rice cheese casserole and then horseradish mashed potatoes for our party tonight. I hope I get to go home early. I still want to stop and do my nails. There is no way in heck I'm gonna accomplish all this before 7pm, which is what time I need to be at my parents house for the party... I'm so so so excited. All of Juan's family will be joining us so there is no going back and forth. It'll just be one big party! YAY!

Judy - Oh I know the Violets would take charge... If ya'll were here, OMG, I would just sit back and just make sure that I had a good girdle on under my dress, LOL...

Laura - WOW, that's it? for the whole thing?? That's an awesome price... Pamela - oh i have plenty of those, belive me, LOL. But the problem is that I don't want any of my guests to have to miss anything because they are worried about making sure things are going smoothly. And I don't want to worry one bit that day. I just need someone who has done this before and who knows what to do in case of something going wrong. Rather than calling me when the liquor doesn't show up, I'd rather them get on the phone with someone else and arrange for liquor to show up. Know what I mean??

ooohhh, nice laura! Love the hardwood. That's the color I want for my bedroom hardwood. Looks nice! So I've been contacting wedding day coordinators to help me out on the day of the weddding. Just to make sure that everything runs smoothly and that all my vendors do what they are supposed to do. They are asking for $1250 for THE DAY. OMG, I'm in the wrong freaking business. $1250 for ONE DAY?? How the heck????

Good morning! What a nasty dreary day here. And boo hoo the rest of the office is off for the rest of the week. But I was off almost all last week. But still, it makes me lonely. And if it weren't for the fact that I'm so behind I would spend all day doing wedding stuff. But no, I really need to get to work... boo hoo for me... My tummy feels better and fever has not returned since yesterday afternoon. Juan's little brother made us some seafood Soup that was so good. I drank alot of the broth and it just made my tummy feel so much better. This was around 6pm. By 11pm I was ravenous since all I had all day was Water, gatorade and some broth. So Juan made me some scrambled eggs. Ahh, felt so much better. Slept like a log too. Even though there was a raging storm outside. I really really really didn't want to leave the house this morning. We were so warm in our bed... Well here I go, I need to get started. Our AMEX payment is due today and I have yet to start on the reconciliation. It's $300,000 dollars made of of hundreds and hundreds of pidly little charges that I have to make sure are all posted. YUCK... It's my most dreaded task and ALWAYS leave it till the last minute... Off i go..

Heather, the same thing happened with mine, LOL! It arrived I think Monday and Juan's brother stuck it in my dining room. And we hardly ever go by there since we use the garage entrance to get into the house. So I saw it last night as I was going to put something outside. Thank you!! I love good smelling lotions and I have those glade plug ins all over the house and I needed some for my room but hadn't gotten around to getting any. You're so sweet!

oh and i read Middlesex a couple of years ago. I really liked it. Let me know what you think... I think Juan might be getting me a kindle soon. Last night I was feverish and groggy and he's poking me going, "what's the name of that book reader you wanted?" and he's having me SPELL it. omg, i wanted to hit him, LOL...

aaaah, i wish i was there already... sign me up! even if just for a long weekend... My tummy issues just won't go away. I've been drinking gatorate like crazy and that's it... And my fever came back but I took some liquid children's motrin and feel a thousand times better. I was feeling all weak and sickly and now it's just my tummy that hurts... Yep, Jane, it was just to my grandma's house that we went to. It's about 5 hours away, we drive there. It's right at the border. Reynosa. It's were I'm from. It's pretty much the same thing everytime we go. We drive there, cross the international bridge, stop at the big HEB that's in town, stock up on groceries, and then head to grandma's. When we are there all we do is veg, and sit around talking and eat eat eat! My grandpa has alzheimers so we try to talk to him as much as we can before he gets further along. He loves my dad so much and he just cries and cries when he sees him. And then again when we leave, he just bawls like a baby because we are leaving... I'm counting the minutes until 5pm. I was going to leave early because i'm not feeling good but I have so much to catch up on here! I'm drowning in papers!

Ahhh, it feels good to be home. I'm sick though. I've had fever and stomach issues for two days now. Only good thing is that I'm down 5 lbs... Mae - sorry, I am no help with anything computer related and also with signatures here on lapband. Most of the time I have to get Laura to help me figure stuff out... Once you get the workout program working let us know how it worked out! Suzy - WOW, that sounds painfull! I hope it doesn't rupture! And great job with your CPA stuff! You still have two more days to go! Jane - please post a pic with the scarf all wrapped around you! I would love to see it! And speaking of secret santas, I just tracked my gift to make sure it arrived and it won't even be there until tomorrow! Gah! Sorry to my violet with no present yet. You know who you are! My procrastination, along with foul weather, both coming and going, made the present extra extra late! Ah, pam, the margaritas at Las Casuelas are calling my name! I've never had another one as good, even here in Texas! I would love love love to join ya'll for a summer trip to PS but unfortunately i am already out of vacation time for 2010. We leave for our annual family trip to Isla Navidad in March, then honeymoon in costa rica in May and then another family vacation in September. That's my three weeks right there! Maybe I can come for a looonng weekend? Hmmm, we will see... ok, back to work for another little bit and then i'll be back again, LOL

Good Christmas morning my violets! What a gorgeous day today! Sunny and about 72 here. Getting ready to go to my moms to start making tamales! Yum yum yum... its an all day process. Then around 6 we will head to juans house for dinner then mass at midnight. Then back to my moms house to open presents. Tomorrow its pj's all day, a big breakfast and then lifetime movies all day. We are leaving for mexico Saturday morning and won't be back until Tuesday. I hope you all have a wondereful Christmas with your friends and family. Enjoy every moment! I love you all and am so grateful that I have y'all in my life! Big hug and kiss to each of y'all!

he he he michelle, you sound like me... The other day i was complaining to juan about my jeans being tight while i'm holding a sugar cookie the size of my head... I will never learn. I will be dieting for the rest of my LIFE. Jane - come over here and help me wrap presents please... Now that I left everything till the last minute i've got tons to do... Rain scheduled for us too... yuck. I was hoping for snow again! Judy - have you ever tried any of the jillian michaels workout stuff? The brides to be on my brides board swear that it melts off the pounds. As soon as the new year hits I'm going to go and get it...

Aaahh, it's already 2:30. So so happy I get to go home in a bit. I have to run to Borders to get a book and then run home to try to get some wrapping done before we have to leave. These posadas are really fun but VERY time consuming. This is our busiest time of year but everything has to stop at 7pm everyday for praying and spending time with family. Wait, that doesn't sound so bad once I actually write it out...

throw those old earrings OUT! well, tell her you threw them out but send down down here to TEXAS, he he he... Juan gave me a beautiful little set for our 10th anniversary. Even though they are small I will cherish them for always. I hope to give them to our daughter someday and then I can get a blingy pair like you got Susanne! he he he... Things haven't slowed down around here. Why oh why do we say this year we aren't buying gifts and then spent the last weekend before Christmas at the stores all dang day long. Back in November we had decided together no gifts because we are trying to pay for this wedding. Then it was cemented when they cut my hours here at work. But everyday Juan says, well maybe just one gift, for my mom. One for my grandma. One for your mom. One for your dad. One for each of my brothers. And what about your sisters, we can't leave them out. And my god-father? And my little cousins?? ACK! So now since we've been buying things here and there I have no sense of budget, I didn't get to shop the sales or use any coupons. Turned out worse this way.... Weather has been beautiful here. Sunny but chilly. Perfect carwashing weather! YAY! We finally did some business at our company. Aww Pam, that was such a great picture of Klausy! He's just such a handsome boy! I would be snuggled on that big pillow with him. I used to babysit for a family that had a big Irish Setter. They were strict with him and wouldn't let him come into the bedrooms. But he knew that whenever I came to stay at the house he got to sleep in the guest bed with me... When it was time for bed I would just pat the bed and he would come running and jump in! I wonder if the parents ever found out? I'm sure they did, LOL. I'm sure they didn't think those long straight red hairs were mine! Judy, i just LOVED Grady's santa pic. It was too cute! an 8th grader?? OH MY. I got in trouble when I was a senior in HIGH SCHOOL for wearing a bart simpson shirt that read, "don't have a cow man". uh, we were a conservative school, LOL... Ohhh, you did make out like a bandit! I always loved picking something out for my teacher when I was in elementary school. that promptly stopped when I got into 6th grade and I had 6 teachers, LOL. My mom said no more. She told me to draw something for them, LOL.
