I posted a week ago that I had been totally out if control, gained back 17 and finally broke down an call the dr office. They have me on the pre diet for 2 weeks then soft for 3 days. Then I go in on 21st for class followed by a fill. In 1wk I lost 5 lbs. yeah! One more week of this. Here is what I learned: I think I am in the green. I am just not hungry at all. So for my fill on the 21st I am going to request .1cc. I had lost control and fell into the slider foods. Just needed to her back in control Thank you all for your ongoing support.

My bad. Didn't even see the date of post. Lol. I'm so happy you are doing better and don't worry about the slow down in loss. I do well then all Slow down. You will have a great success story !

I too noticed you said you were banded on 9/11. If you are feeling this badly and it has been 4 weeks then you absolutely need to call your doctor as you shouldn't be feeling that bad this far out. Just to make sure everything is ok. Hope you feel better soon.

All those carbs! I would need a nap just looking at those. All the comments above are right. You deserve better than those calories and the feelings that come with them when you cheat. Also please give your stomach repair time. You can do this.

Congrats under 250! I remember what that felt like. Now the nay: been there, done that. We are slow learners sometimes. I read that taking that small bite , swallow, then wait a minute before the next bite. I know. Easily said. Here's what helps me after that bite I sing to my self a little minute nursery song. Or lyrics Anything too slow me down. Good luck hope u feel better.

Me too! The time between getting home from work and dinner time. Usually not real hunger but bored, the old habit of eating when I get home. I am now trying water first, having chores or errands. If really a hunger I'm only making me a half of protein drink. -
Have you tried papaya yet. I'm going to get some of the chewable tabs I hear they help a lot.

Nice job! Congrats on the awesome weight loss. I had got down to 215 then slowly lost control, fell back to bad habits and gained back 12. So I hear you and we just need to get our heads back into the game. I just put put a pair of jeans out in view , that I want to get back into to keep my goal focused. Good luck to you. -
I also have been off the wagon for awhile. Haven't been to doc or a fill since last Dec. so I broke down and called them. I am up 12 since my last visit for a fill. I am now 3 days in on pre diet Boo. They want me doing this for the next 2 weeks then soft food for 3 days before I go in on the 21st. That day I have to go to a group session then they will see if I need a full. I can't believe how easy it can be to fall back. Wish me luck. I am determined to be successful with the band

Have been banded since 2010. Lost 40 in the first 3 months, than maintained for a year ( still needed to lose 30) and this year I have gained back 20. I don't know what to do. I feel so confused. Going to gym 3-4 times weekly, tracking calories of less than 1400 daily with about 60grams protein a day. I have 5cc in my band and think I'm good with that. I can go easily 4 hours between meals. Protein drink or turkey bacon/sausage for breakfast, salad with protein for lunch and cooked veggies and protein for dinner. Any ideas of what I can do. I find myself only thinking of food all day and hating myself again. Also no longer fitting in my clothes cause I got rid of them as I was shrinking. Please help.

Just got off phone with doctors office. They don't schedule appt with the doctor unless I am having pain. So here is what they said... They want me to do only liquids for next 3 weeks, then come in for a group counseling than they will give me a fill. I was hoping to speak with a doctor but I will do this first. She said if I was having complication I would be in pain which thankfully I am not. Wish me luck. I will be checking in a lot to keep motivated. I hate the fluid stuff but they said they want my stomach to shrink before a fill. I hope this is all I need to get to losing again. Thx everyone !

Thanks for all the quick response. I will call my doctor tomorrow. I haven't seen him since my surgery. When I would schedule an appt I would only get to see the fill nurse. So I think I tell them I need to see only the doc. When I have gone in for the group sessions or seemed like the counselor didn't know what she was talking about. If it wasn't on her paper she didn't know how to answer the questions. Thanks for the suggestions I will keep you updated.

The mention of discoloration is what concerns me. Call you doc, don't wait until the weekend when you may not be able to reach them.

I am in Phx too. Live around I 17 and Bell rd. my band anniversary is next week. It will be 3 years. I dropped 45 real fast then maintained for about a year and now up about 15. I just started back to the gym and counting my food again. Feeling motivated. . Thank Goodness. I appreciate any encouragement and willing to support or answer any question. Have a great day.

I have read in several postings about counting calories. My doc has never said anything about it and a friend that had it done several years before me said that as long as we only eat what we should then counting isnt necessary. So I'm confused. I have been stuck for a while...have gained back 16 pounds and beating myself up. I don't know if I should start counting and if so how many calories a day should I eat. I am really hating myself again, and I was at the point where I liked doing things. Now I found myself back to not wanting to leave the house except to go to work. So here's my questions: Count Calories? How Many? or Count protein? Do the 5 day pouch test? Help Please... I don't want to be back to hiding out and letting life pass me by.

She just guessed. I told her that I can go 3-4 hours between meals but still hungry after a cup and SOMETIMES eat more than the cup. No test... she then stated " You've stretched your pouch, I will have to see if I give you a fill at all", then proceeded.

I went if for a fill today. I know I have been eating too much ( more than a cup) and the dr asst. sd that I may have stretched my pouch and maybe no fill. At my last fill, I was at 5.2, when she took out the fluid she said I had 4.2 in my band. When I told her I was at 5.2 she said that will the realize band she cant get all the fluid out because some fluid stays in the tubbing. She then put the 4.2 in plus another 1cc. When I asked her if I was back to where I started she said, no she put in a additional 1cc and to just put it in my head that I am at 6.2 I was also told only liquid for 2 weeks for my pouch to shrink. I am so confused ! So how much does the tubing hold? Does this sound correc?. Strange... I do fill tighter. Or is that my head telling me that. I hate to pay for nothing, but don't was to be overfilled either. I just wish I knew what I have in. So was I at 4.2 and now 5.2 or 6.2. I dont know whats in band and what is in the tube. ahhhhhhgggggghhhhh

Special K has protien lemonaid or punch flavor to add to water and has 4 protein. Really taste great too. I am trying to keep at 1200 a day. I need more routine workouts. Remember you can always add more movement in your day to help.

Probably your port. If you lay on your back you can feel the port. For me, my port is below the incision line. Still check with the doc when you go in for your check up
