So I'm close to my 2 month anniversary which is 10/15 n today I ate a smart ones ravioli florentine n was able to finish it. It is. 8.5 oz n this is the time I have ever finished anything, I feel good but nervous (scared to be able to eat too much). Does anyone know if weight watchers n lean cuisine are good for sleevers? Is it bad that I ate it all??? Helpppppp please Christina

Thanks guys, as for sweets, I've cheated here n there, nothing too crazy ! I know if I force myself away from everything, I would go nuts!!!! Looks like no more weight watchers, it will be better once I can eat fruit n veggies (4 more months)!!!!

It has 12 grams of protein n 18 grams of carbs, ive been trying to get as much protein as possible, it's a struggle!!!!!! I found granola bars wit 21 grams n I do grilled chicken, tuna, n a lot of cheese. Any other suggestions? I feel stuck b/c the surgeon won't allow veggies or fruit for six months ):

Runny Nose When Full
griega232 replied to scaredoftheunknown's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I get a single hiccup as well. I'm six weeks out n couldn't figure out my signal which in turn made me deathly sick by eating too much or too fast, now I know as soon as I hiccup, I'm finished!!! -
Exactly what happens to me ):
-
So my journey has been up n down, I've gotten sick quite often. Some days food is fine, other days it's like death. I don't eat fried food or real sugar, surgeon now put me in medimucil saying I need fiber, but it tastes horrible. I also picked up smoking (only stopped briefly prior to surgery) n my surgeon is hitting the fan. I have to quit again on top of everything else I have eliminated): is anyone else going through this?? I have lost 36 pounds since 8/15 but it is not worth being miserable!!!

I'm 5 weeks out n my head has not caught up with my stomach, I don't eat bad but I sometimes eat fast or something disagrees. Be careful because when u overdue it, it really becomes a mess

5 Weeks Out N Miserable
griega232 replied to griega232's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I mostly eat dairy ie; Greek yogurt, cheese, beans, rice cakes, n grilled chicken. In five weeks I have yet to have a normal stool. Not good, it means u are lacking fiber, so today is day one of that. I take all my vitamins and I have the Cotsco shakes Dez, I will try them. Thanks!!!! -
5 Weeks Out N Miserable
griega232 replied to griega232's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Thanks Dez, I wasn't sure if Metamucil had capsules! Protein shakes have made me sick the last two times I had them, I was good in the beginning, now I'm like I a maze. I don't think my head has caught up with my stomach yet! There's a lot of trials and tribulations I'm going through. I can't change it now n I def don't live on regrets soooo it will get better, I'm sure -
Did Amyone Fail On Their Pre Op Diet?
griega232 replied to SleeveShelly's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A

Thanks Louise so I'll wait a couple more weeks
-
How long post Op do I wait before I can have coffee again? I really miss it...
-
Congrats coffeebean, great job!!!
-
Luvbug are u drinking regular coffee?? Thanks for all your comments it's just something I really miss, hopefully it won't taste the same so I won't crave it anymore!!
-
What about the caffeine, I'm 17 days out, is caffeine bad?
-
I had no drain, my surgeon said he doesn't put it in unless it's an emergency, every surgeon is different
-
I'm in on this, thanks sounds sooo good, I'm two weeks out tomorrow and dying to try food lol
-
Just had my surgery on the 15th, at first I couldn't even hardly swallow sips of water and now all of a sudden almost a whole protein shake goes down. I also was able to eat a whole yogurt, some soup, and decaf tea is my new best friend. My question is, am I drinking too much? Is it odd that I can eat a whole yogurt?? Just want to make sure I'm not hurting my self, any feedback would be great!!!!!

Surgery Aug 16 First Night Home
griega232 replied to 612belly's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had surgery on the 15th, I stayed an extra day in the hospital because I couldn't get the fluids down enough. I discovered hot tea is my savior, this morning I woke up with both of my hands and arms asleep, my left arm is still acting up, surgeon said I probably slept weird to protect my belly, odd... Anyone have more choices for fluids?
