Yeah mine had a lot to say during class last night while other people were reading their stories out loud in my creative writing class...I was embarrassed but tried to tell myself I need to get used to it because there is nothing I can do. One classmate even made a comment about it lol

How To Lose This Stomach Help!
Mexico replied to sexy_sleevegirl's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have a stubborn belly too...for me it helps when I work out my back as well as my abs for a thorough core toning. In order to do this without gaining big muscles I use a weight vest when I walk and doing planks really helps. For me its about strengthening my entire core and not just focusing on my belly. Good luck! I did all of this while I was in the army and had to stay a certain weight I am 4 weeks out now and will try to keep updated as to what works for me...I am currently losing everywhere but my belly. I have hope it will eventually catch up as long as I stick to my plan -
Surgery Through A *lighter Me* And Dr F. Garcia 20
Mexico replied to muffintop's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
I also.went.through a lighterme with Dr. Garcia on the 19th and I had a similar experience. Not to say I wouldn't do it again but Abraham even said they were super busy and he didn't have enough time for everyone. It seemed very unprofessional and I didn't understand the.point of eduardo. I saw him in the hours.I was waiting for surgery which was at like 4pm. Then I saw him for a minute the next day and another quick minute on Sunday when I was discharged. I was never contacted by anyone when I got back to the hotel and had to call Abraham twice before he called me back to find out when I needed to be ready to go for the airport. I only got a time after he dismissed my question and asked to call me back twenty minutes later after which he forgot why I had called. He also had to ask me like 6 times what time my plane left. On the way to.the airport he decided he had to stop at the bank and about 6 different stores to.find gas x strips for another patient I got to the airport a little less than an hour before my flight...it was cutting it.close. My surgery went well and at 11 days out I feel really good just tire easy. I had to keep in perspective that it is a different culture and while I would have liked more professionalism and organization it was not anything that put my health or safety at risk. All in all I have mixed feelings. -

Cell Service From Us Towers In Tj?
Mexico replied to Lollyx3's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
I have sprint and it was super pricey to add anything to use here. I set my phone to sprint only and literally stopped working at the border. I have skype on my computer and the wifi at the hospital and hotel work fine for it. Also through sprint they have a texting service you can use through the website for free. -

Excerise I Hate It, Even The Stuff I Thought I Liked
Mexico replied to wantingtolivehealthy's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Do they offer other classes at your Y? I always find exercise more.fun when its.not so monotonous and I can forget about it. Zumba for example or other step classes they are great workouts and I tend to get lost in the instruction rather than how thinking about that I am exercising. Also I am not sure what kind of bike u have but if ur seat is too low or the adjustments aren't right for an intense bike ride.this could be causing some of ur knee pain. You may want to ask your trainer or a spin instructor at the Y could show u on a stationary bike. Every little bit counts.sounds like you are doing great! -
Complication Rates Of Docs?
Mexico replied to butter-fly's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My doc showed me graphs and calculations of all of his surgeries...I liked the physical evidence over just his word. I also looked on many different forums and usually seems the good ones you will see their names over and over again
