I never had a "nervous" stomach until I was sleeved, now my emotions totally affect how much ( if anything) i can eat/drink. -

12 lbs in 6 days that's awesome. Especially for a lower bmi-er! I'm a lower bmi-er and I don't recall losing that much that quickly. I'm 6 months out now and am at goal. You'll have faster/slower loss at times, but the inches still seem to come off during a stall... Try really hard to get in your h20/protein...Pestering your doctor probably won't help though... Good luck and keep us posted on your success! You'll lose, don't worry... -

you'll lose, but you'll have stalls where you don't lose weight but still lose inches! Everyone's loss and rate of loss is different. -
I liked my experience with Dr. Almanza, but the hospital is not like the ones in the U.S. It is small/not fancy/but very clean. The price is relative to what you get. You don't get pampered, but you get good care at Jerusalem Hospital...

I'm 6 months out and the loss has not stopped! It started at about 2 months out and has continued steadily. I take all the vitamins/protein etc.as recommended and still losing hair. I think this is very common and unpreventable from what I have read... -

Our stats are nearly identical, but my surgery weight was 186, have lost 65 lbs. I now weigh 121 as well! and wear 5/6 pants. I'm 5'3" and am 6 months out as of feb 29th...

It may be stomach acid. It gives the feeling of hunger. OTC prilosec can help it. It helped me...
