I have been over weight since I was 18. I hit the obese stage in my 20's ( currently 33). I always talked myself out of the surgery but have considered it for years. For the last two years my insurance would not cover the surgery and now I have insurance that will cover the surgery. I have decided that im going to do it. I went to my seminar, selected a surgeon ( kind of), and will have my letter from my pcp this week. So I'm on track, the only thing is I keep switching from lap band or bypass. I'm sure I will figure it out. This is my story will post more info soon
Its so funny when I wrote this I was in the begining stage. Update: I decided gastric sleeve which I had performed on April 11 ( so I didnt talk myself out of it) so far Im three days out.
