Ohhh...this is sorta me!! I'm only 4 days post op. Keeping down four ounces of broth at a time easily! Can drink water all day, eating my jello and sf pops. Spreading it out but was starting to think I was taking in too much fluid too fast. guess not? I feel like I could drink more but won't for fear of stretching. I am hungry cuz no protein shakes(drs orders). What is a swallow test? I see dr Monday for follow up and am really hoping for mashed potatos!!!

Well, I was sleeved Monday the 23rd of July, and this being Friday after, there is no way I would want to be camping with friends. I know everyone is different. I thought I would be going to the beach 2 days after but my dr told me travel was not an option due to blood clot risk. I was in a lot of pain and went back to the ER after my outpatient surgery. I am way better, holding down fluids, walking the neighborhood, but needing lots of rest. I would take care of yourself first! It was not an easy 1st 2 days post-op for me. I do feel that I recovered quickly though and I wish you the best (:

Sleeved on monday! Came home from surgery and weighed an additional 10pounds. I'm assuming that was fluids/gas? I've since lost that plus some but was wondering if anyone else had that experience? Thanks.

Nobody said "you're going to go home heavier" it was just a little shocking. Glad to hear I'm not the only one Best of luck to you!
