  1. I have lost 105 lbs in 4 1/2 months. Which is an awesome feeling ! my question is starting off at 400 lbs. how much can I expect to lose. Is it likes certain amount that the sleeve allow you to lose or percentage ?? Just wondering ?? my mom said she thought the doctor said I Would only lose 150 then I would have to have another surgery if I wanted to lose more. I mean what else can I do but cut the other stomach out.
  2. I was 400 lbs pre surgery August 15, 2012 and as of today I have lost 105 lbs. feeling great. You can do it. I have trouble I never eat the right amount of protein and forget about all the water. So my advice is yet to get the protein where you can and don't forget water.

    Update!

    Thanks everyone !!! It has not been easy. I struggled the first 5 weeks horribly with craving. I developed diverticulitis and constant heartburn but I keep going forward. I just want to say never give up. I was 400 lbs pre- op and every painful moment is worth having the energy to play with my kids and enjoying the little things in life.

    Sleeved August 15 th down 35lbs started soils a week ago but have not be able to eat anything soild. Im struggling to eat and get my Protein and Water in. Any suggestions??

    Not Losing

    M on full liquids I'm going from 382 to 380 for the last 4 days. Is this normal?? Did anyone else struggle at this point with eating food?? I'm struggling with head hunger. My Protein shakes go down smooth but I can't eat anything else without belching constantly. Any suggestions

    Dating A Sleeved Person

    Well I'm married going on 7 years and we've been together 13 years to me since I've been sleeved I fill a lot more insecure than before but I know I will be happy and healthier in the end. To me the sleeve and weight loss should make you more attractive because losing the weight will boost your confidence and ultimately men are attractive to confident women.

  13. Me 3 weeks out and tonight I went to a family function and I used to love eating boiled and susage with my dip made of mayo rotel ketchup etc. and I love love boil crabs. But tonight I sat an war he'd everyone eating and I was completely fine. I even sat down and peel shrimp to make me a shrimp Salad for work. Felt so good until I got home with the cake and licked the spoon that had icing with about 90 g of sugar in it. But overall being at a buffet for lunch and a seafood boil for supper I did real damn good !!!!

    I don't know if I can handle decaf !! LoL but I really like my latte every once in a while when I need a boost in the morning.
  19. Try getting a cup of ice from Sonic I chew this ice and it keeps my mouth wet for some reason I have constant dry mouth and if you get a big cup you getting your fluids. Helps with craving and getting fluid. Good luck!!

    Macho Cheese Doritos

    Its all in your head in 2 weeks out and there not anything I haven't done. I have chewed my favorite foods and spit them out I have licked Doritos I have even tried to eat things I know could harm me are even kill me only being 2 weeks out. But I'm here to tell you I promise it gets better the first 10 days was the hardest now my brain is getting on sync with my stomach. Sometimes you just have to do what you need to to overcome these obstacles. Not all of us can be hardcore never touch a starch and carbs the rest of our lives. The whole point is to still be able to eat but what you live but in little portions. I'm not saying eat chips every day but if you have a carving eat a couple to satisfy you. I do not believe that saying you never ever have something the rest of your life is realistic just don't make this a every day habit. Best of luck. Remember we all travel this journey different.
  22. I'm 2 weeks Wednesday and what I fine that helps is getting a large cup of ice at sonic it's like .45 and it's soft I've to eat. As far as protein my dic told me for now try to just get what I can but I use pure protein it's a powder 25 g and I add sugar free pudding like cheesecake to give a better flavor. For some reason I can take big sips of protein shakes but little sips of water it very frustrating but I fine that the ice helps with dry mouth and get my fluid.

    I'm 10 days out and I don't really no what feeling I'm Supposed have besides head hunger. I can drink Protein shakes no problem but water I can't have to sip grits. So how am I suppose to tell

    Not Losing

    I've been weighing me almost 3 times a day. For full liquids week 2 what do you suggest I eat. Mashed potatoes don't agree with me I'm wondering of I'm eating too much. I feel stuffed at times after eating.
