I am 9days post op today and if has not been a picnic. Exercise already?? Omg no! I am hoping to add activity this week. Be careful. Little walks to help with the gas and soreness but I would not call it exercise yet. Rest and heal. Pennie

I had plication with lapband on 8/10. I did it because it seemed like a tool within a tool to me and I thought I could use the extra help. I'm only 8 days post op so can't say if it is helping. My surgeon said that the early data shows better weight loss but that there is no data showing if improves anything in the long run. I was self pay and paid $1800 more. Pennie

I was on clears 2 days, fulls the rest of the week and can start mushies after one week. Pennie -

I am hungry sometimes too, I'm 5 days PO, banded 8/10. Last night I had a little too much soup (I think I ate about 3/4 of a cup) and I was sooo full. I was miserable! Even tonight I'm hungry. Aargh. I start mushies on Friday. Pennie

It's normal, I am 4 days post op. I am starting to feel better but I am still very sore walking around and getting out of bed, or heaven forbid bending over. I'm still occasionally taking pain meds even. I'm waiting for that magic day that I am better. Pennie 8/10

I'm 4 days post of and allowed full liquids since yesterday. I ate about 3/4 of a Cup of soup tonight and I am uncomfortable!! I hope i didn't screw anything up! I was starving. Badness. Pennie

I was to switch to full liquids today and bad some runny cream of wheat and I have diarrhea! Has anybody else had this problem post op? Pennie. 8/10 iband

I am 3 days post op today, I have LB with plication Friday and there is no way I could have gone today. I say definitely take a few more days. -
a friend of mine bought me a homeade tomato bisque and a little cup of plain greek yogurt to top it like sour cream. It was so good even though I could only eat about 1/4 cup. I will get the recipe because like you, most things haven't looked good. I am SICK of the taste of broth. Pennie 8/10

I am on full liquids, banded 8/10, and ate my first Soup tonight. It helped immensely. Are you on fulls yet? Pennie

Man, you did great! I had mine on Friday, 8/10. I am super sore and now having diarrhea when I try to eat my shakes (just started them today). Good for you for getting out! I don't think I should drive yet. Too weak. Pennie -
We all sound the same! Sore and gassy! I skipped one dose of pain meds today but took them a bit ago to get comfortable for bed. I am staying at my parents house and my 3 kids are with their dad so I have had uninterrupted time to rest and heal but I am going home tomorrow so the party is over! I am on full liquids tomorrow which will be interesting. I feel so empty! Pennie LB w/ plication 8/10.

Hey I got my band with plication yesterday. I'm Very very sore and getting out of bed is hard. I'm sipping my clears and walking around the house quite often. I can't wait to get better! Pennie

I was banded yesterday 8/10 and feel rough too. I'm taking sips and soooo gassy. Also my left side still has stabbing pains. I came home After though. Very scared of nausea. Feel better. Pennie

Is my surgery, lapband with plication! I have to be there at 5:15 am. I have been on clears today and I'm starving. Ready to try to sleep I so I can forget my stomach growling. I'm nervous. I've been loving my children tonight. Aargh. Nervous! Pennie.
