My port is to the left and about an inch from my longest incision. I can feel a hardness there when I stand up. I always knew where it was bc it hurt there while I was healing!

I didn't feel anything after either. I am 3 weeks post op. I have never felt my band at all but did have pain at my port site and I can feel it. You will be fine!

I had my gb out on 6/29 and breezed through. I found this much harder. I'm 17 days PO now and feel 100% better. Hang in there. Pennie 8/10.

How much can you guys eat and have you had a fill? I am 2 weeks post op today and have been hungrier the past few days. I can at times eat a whole cup of Soup (still on mushies) now before I get full. Scares me for the future As my doc has already made it plain that he doesn't think fills should be necessary if you have plication. Pennie 8/10

And still sore and tired! It is depressing! I keep hoping to turn the corner and feel better. At what point did people feel more normal? Pennie 8/10

I could have written your post. I'm 16 days post op and feel like I have lost inches but the scale is slow to budge. I've lost about 9 post op.

I have no idea where hunger is controlled. But plication makes your stomach smaller and is just another tool to make you get full faster. I do get hungry but about 1/2 a cup does it with no fill in the band as of yet.

My doc didnt say a word about coffee or caffeine so I drink a cup every morning.

Plication is a procedure that he surgeon does with Lapband (some surgeons are doing it anyway). They fold your stomach and put in sutures so that your stomach is smaller and have more appetite control. So far so good!

Sorry I see you are 8 days po. I had mine on 8/10. I'm scared to go back to him though! I have heard that no matter what you lose he says it isn't enough!

I did have the plication and this was the first time that I didn't get full super quick. Ive been getting really full on about 1/2 to 3/4 cup Of food. When was your surgery?

I haven't had that since a few days after. A heating pad did help. I'm so sorry! I'm 12 days out and my port still hurts bad! Pennie

Cheaslet, Dr. Woodman is my doc as well. I am 12 days post op and I'm on mushies. I ate a few bites of Pasta tonight, it was over done and so soft but I was still hungry and made myself quit. Scared me that I didn't get full. I think I have head hunger. Aargh.

I'm 10 days post op and I feel the same. I have cried over various things for the past week (my kids whining about homework, my divorce last year, my dog barking) and I finally realized on Sunday that I am depressed about food. I get hungry but I get full really fast too. Sometimes I still want to overeat! Then I realize that the 1/2 cup of Soup filled me up and get scared to push it. I've got some head games happening. Are you on soup yet? Saved my life. Pennie

Yes mine is where my port is. I swear it stabs! Otherwise I am doing ok. I am just surprised that 9 days po and I'm still this sore!

I'm 9 days post op and I'm not able. Walking Around a store yes but exercising, no. I am still having stabbing pain on my left side sometimes. Pennie
