Hello, I am new here as of yesterday too and I went to my first seminar yesterday as well. It was a bit scary at first but today, I feel it's the right step for me. I only have about 50 lbs I would like to lose and I have tried and spent so much money in doing so, that I just feel Lapband is the next step. Good luck and I wish you the best.

Hello, Today, I went to my first seminar in Cincinnati in regards to the Lap Band Surgery. To say the least, I was very emotional the minute I walked into the room. Tears seem to flow as I embarked on this new journey. I have only 50 lbs to lose and paying the $13,000.00 to do so brought many fears to me. It's been 15 years since I have felt like a real person and this very well could be my last hope to feel normal again and just live life happily. I have put so much money into Jenny Craig, and all the other programs that seem to work great, but unfortunately, the weight comes back and fast. I hope to find some positive feedback as I post my fears here on the days to come. Thanks all....
