colebort replied to preetyfatchic's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had the same problem I am mostly a side sleeper Or on my tummy and at first it was very uncomfortable for me. There is no right or wrong time it won't hurt you as long as you are comfortable. It took me a little while to get bak to sleeping on my sides and stomach esp the side my stomach came out of -
24 pounds is great in that amount of time! You are better off losing slow. I am a month an 25 days out and I am down 31 pounds now. I hit a stall for a while but once I started walking a lot a lot nd going back to the gym it really makes a difference along with gettig in your protein!

Really?! That's awesome I had such a great experience with everyone. Miriam at the front desk in his office is such a sweetheart and I like that dr Chau is very serious. Made me feel confident that he's the one who would be working on my stomach. He loves when you ask questions too. Princeton hospital is beautiful honestly it looks like a fancy hotel lol the staff is also great. The night shift were a little harder to get in touch with but they let me walk around at night once and then when my family got there I could walk whenever I wanted and they let me leave the next day around 4. There's a nice big screen tv in your room and a pull out couch for family. Do you hve a date yet?

One Month And A Week Out
colebort replied to colebort's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
That's great! I felt good 4 days out too with the occasional soreness. I think if you take it slow and have somebody with you it would be okay. My doctor advised me to walk as much as possible. If you feel it's too much for you you can always take breaks! Jus make sure you have enough Protein Shakes that day! Good luck -

Have You Sold Clothes Online?
colebort replied to keldolbeth's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
For high end items yes! Some of that stuff is too expensive to basically give away. Other than tht I just start the bids at 5$ and go from there. Most of the stuff is from either forever 21 since I worked there or urban outfitters Victorias secret ect. They're just collectin dust in my closet so whatever I get for them is better than bothig -

Even before I was sleeved I put all my clothes up on eBay. I used to work at a forever 21 so I had closets full of clothes that I just never wore. I am usually pretty successful -

So I'm 23 days out and I'm still on the puréed diet until wedensday. I'd really appreciate if someone could give me an idea on what their sched is like when it comes to eating/ drinking and how they manage to get in all their protein and drinking for one day. Thanks!

I was allowed to have any liquid that's able to go through a straw my first 2 weeks home. At first it did bother my stomach and I told my doctor that but he said try again so I did and now I can handle it

Yeah I agree. Especially since the portions are so tiny you really aren't getting in that much protein from one scrambled egg
