You look fantastic! You must be feeling so happy - size 24 down to 16 is a big loss! You will notice that you will drop sizes a bit quicker now as it seems like the sizes get closer together as you get lower. I am fitting anything from a 10 to 14 depending on the shop at the moment! Well done!

I logged onto VST on my laptop and was able to view it from our thread through there.

Finally got to see your video (for some reason I couldn't play it via my Ipad) and it was well worth the wait. What a fantastic job you have done! You made me feel a bit guilty when I saw you working out so hard on that punch bag! You have inspired me to get back to my walking and when I go back to work I am definitely joining the gym! You look amazing and you look really happy and healthy!

Yes - I remember having those same thoughts but it does get easier. There are some things that I still find just too hard so don't go there - like poached eggs. I find these really hard to digest - yet scrambled is ok - go figure. I really hated the Protein Shakes so nothing was going to get me back on them - I was never a milkshake kind of person prior to the sleeve so that whole pre op and liquid stage was miserable for me. I was so looking forward to getting back to real food I think it came as a bit of shock to me that you have to learn how to eat again! Quite q journey that I am still on but really really happy with the results!

Yes Lila - you are so right - I can only fit two biscuits in - pre sleeve I would have eaten the whole packet in one sitting! I love it too for this reason!!
-
Confession - I can't stop eating walkers shortbread!! Aaaarg Christmas!

Puppyphat - 62kg! That is amazing! Lila - Great weight loss - it seems to be coming off steadily. Isn't such a great feeling! Novo - welcome to our thread - a great bunch of people here, lots of laughs, support and shoulders to cry on if needed! Scotty - awesome weight loss - I bet they are really curious at work about how quickly you are dropping the kilos now! I love my secret weapon - well in my case, not so secret because I tell everyone!

That would be great if you could say good bye to the machine! I don't know about you Kelli but every time I find the sleeve has impacted my health in a positive way (in my case, normal liver function now!) I feel like I am claiming back part of my life - a bit dramatic I know but I am sure you get what I mean!

Hi All I haven't checked in for a while and have just caught up on the thread - great to see everyone doing so well with their weight loss - i remember when i went from obese to overweight - i was so happy too. The dreaded scales - I also had the weight watchers ones which packed it in quite quickly, my prior Bi-lo cheapo ones were great until my husband tripped over them and they shattered! The ones I have now are great and seem to weigh the same as my doctors - so happy. Mimz - sorry to here your news about the polyps - please try not to worry until you know what you are dealing with - easier said than done I know. The one positive is that they have found them now - if you hadn't been having the surgery you may never have known so I think this is a good thing. I will be thinking of you and sending positive thoughts your way. Let us know how you go. Lila - that is fantastic news. We were all wishing that it would turn out well for you and I guess we all got our wishes. Onward and upward!!! ( or downward in our case!) Your must be so happy to get the all clear and to know that everything is back on track. Aussie Girl - great to hear that you are dating! You are looking fantastic and still losing ( or should I say winning!) Welcome all new people to our thread. Hope you enjoy the group of people on here - they have all been a wealth of support and advise for me since my op in July this year. My total weight loss is 33 kg - started at 102 when I was referred by my GP and weighed myself yesterday at 68.8 - BMI of 25 so in the healthy weight range and really happy about that. I am losing very slowly now but not worried about that. Any loss from now on is a bonus!

Hi Lila - I have had days like this but can't put my finger on - I am having one today actually! Sent from my iPhone using VST

Welcome Kate - with me it is noticeable but people have not said anything until I mention that I have had hair loss - my friend who cuts my hair is a hair dresser so she is much more observant when it comes to hair! I have an all over thinning - no bald spots... Yet!!! I had thin hair to start off with so It probably wouldn't be as noticeable on someone else. I am taking this expensive supplement from Herbs of Gold called ultra silica - for hair skin and nails. It really does work on the nails and seems to slow down the hair fall - what hair I do have is really shiny - not too sure what it does for the skin but maybe it is less dry. I tried other hair skin and nails supplements but they didn't do anything so I guess you do get what you pay for in this case. My hair loss stared at the 4 month mark so pretty much text book - everyone tells me it starts to grow back at about 9 months so I am keeping the faith! As I have said on this thread many times - I don't really want to be the 'skinny bald chook!' I am not all that worried as I still have hair and one of my friends is going through chemo at the moment and has none so I feel that I can hardly complain!

Hi all- Mel - welcome to our thread - there is some great company here and they have certainly kept me sane - mm I think! Kayargh - those calories and carbs sound way to low so I agree with everyone else. The only time I really felt as unwell as you is when I first went on to normal food and I soon figured out that I was not eating often enough therefore not eating enough. I think you should eat something at least every 3 hours and don't worry about limiting calories. You doctor sounds like they are on to it so good luck with your tests and I hope you are feeling much better soon. Scotty - you are not alone - the new way of eating is not easy. I think it will take a couple of years to get used to this new 'normal' and I am trying to always concentrate when I eat. Hopefully it will eventually become second nature and I won't eat too quickly. Some days are better than others when it seems easier to eat - still learning! All the best.. You must be really happy with the weight loss so far! Of course everyone will want to know your secret recipe for weight loss as they will want to do it too!! Nessa - I was the same as you as I can't bare to waste food - think this was part of my problem! Also you want to get your 'money's worth'. We went to a work Christmas party and had to pay $60 per head our selves - I have just had to come to terms with the days of 'all you can eat' are gone and I am paying for the social occasion - just a change of my mind set which has been difficult as you are talking about a life time of being able to tuck in! By the way, the food was great at the party and I was glad I didn't miss out ! So go and don't worry about the food just enjoy the time out socialising - I managed to drink a couple of glasses of sauvignon blanc too which helped!

Yes- I remember that feeling well! It felt like your whole mouth had a coating on it. I used this tea tree mount wash that was alcohol free (supposed to work better) and it kept that feeling away for a while.
-
Thanks Lila -that makes sense - lol gross yes but I find a lot of what we have to talk about is gross so not bothered - all bodily functions included!

Auto correct strikes again! Meant to say - impacting that!

Hi everyone - a question - do you have days when it is easier to eat than other days - just had my third being sick episode and it was when I was out which was a bit awkward. For some reason I just haven't been able to eat much over the weekend. I do have a cold so I am wondering if this is I'm,pasting that.
