I'm in the same boat. I was sleeved 8/2013 and lost 40 lbs. I've kept it off for the last 3 years and now I've gained 15 lbs. i used to do zumba, but had to stop due to lower back pain. My exercise is a little walking. I don't eat alot, but also worried about getting back to pre-surgery weight. I really don't know what else to do.

I was out for three weeks -
I just went in for a hair cut and my hair dresser (also a very good friend) told me she can see the growth starting. I had uneven patches on the top of my head where i had lost hair. So she worked around it to make sure she didn't cut it short. Hoping im on the mend after 19 months.

I have BCBS and we got a quick response. I was approved and scheduled for surgery within a month's time. Got sick and had to have surgery rescheduled and even that happened like 10 days later. And that was two years ago this coming August. Good luck! -

My surgery was in August 2012 and I've lost next to nothing. To date I've lost 39 lbs and haven't gone anywhere else. I'm so disgusted and a little bitter when I go on this board. I don't get why so many are doing so well and I'm not. I follow the plan. I don't want to be ultra skinny but i want to be healthy and feel good about the way i do. So disappointed. -

How long were you out of work? Im thinking of having this done, but I am a teacher. Not sure if im better off having this done in the summer. My concern is that i cant stand tight things around my belly and also because those tight garments you have to wear make me super, super hot! What are your thoughts on that? -

Could it be your gall bladder? If you do gave one, it's been known for bariatric patients to have issues and may have to have it removed. Feel better and stay warm in this blizzard. -

Thanks for answering so quickly. How much weight had you lost before doing this procedure. I had the sleeve, i was never banded so im not too sure what you speak of in terms of the drain but i have an idea - how long were they in for? I have belly that hangs over and it drives me batty when i try to fit into clothes and really thinking this may help me. -

Im 15 months post surgery and lost about 41 lbs....yeah, I'm a slow loser. My question for you all is, how do you stay focused and don't sabotage your eating plan at night? I do well all day long and then 7-8pm hits and i ruin my entire meal plan.

Yeah, while all my metabolic diseases are gone, i haven't lost as much as I wanted. Definitely was/am a slow loser. Still trying to keep to low carb....not giving up. -
