I just read about this. Anyone tried it? Do you like it? It has 7G protein in 1/2 cup. I'm looking for green smoothies with protein without the powders. With Greek yogurt and this Kefir it's up to about 17G of protein. Any thoughts on the Kefir?

I was on <20lbs restriction until 6 weeks. Today is my 6 weeks so I can lift anything for here on out (and back to work I go)

Stalled since April 1... God awful April Fools joke
Wls4me replied to Jennifer616's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm with ya. Sleeved 2/27. SW 260. Been at 237 for 2 weeks now. I'm doing everything I'm supposed. It is frustrating but I'm just riding the wave. -
I'm going back to work on Wednesday. 6 weeks PO so I'm allowed anything. I need ideas for portable snacks. Have a fridge but don't always have time to get there (I'm a nurse and work 12 hour shifts). Any recipes or suggestions?

Thank you BTB your words are very kind and encouraging. Any advise you can give?

W1D3 had to overcome one of my biggest fears. The first 2 days I ran it was just my daughters and I, no one else around (Spring Break). Today all the ball fields were full with teams practicing and there were several people walking the track. I actually had to walk/run around them! What?? It felt like they were staring at me as I jiggled by (I'm 6 weeks PO). But I did it! A month ago would have gotten right back in my car and gone home. Reading everyone's posts have given me the encouragement to do this! Thank you everyone!

Friend for sure. May be a great pre workout fuel with the carbs in it. As a female I'm cautious about the amount of soy I eat due to the risk of female cancers. As with everything, moderation.

I use MFP only on my phone. I want to know if I can go back and see my actual weight from previous weeks. I can see the graph but want to see the numbers. Can I do this on the app?
-
Thanks for looking takingcontrol. I wonder why is on the iPad and not the iPhone? Oh well. Guess ill have to go online. Thanks again!

I'm with y'all too. Only mine started on week 4. Wednesday will be 6 weeks PO. It's frustrating but I'm just hanging in there. Started couch 2 5k last week and am increasing fluids. Hopefully ill get back to being a loser soon.

Any recommendations on the energy squares? Any flavors that you don't care for? Favorites?

Blessed, I was beginning to think I was going crazy. I can see all of my diary but not my weights. I've been in a stall for almost 2 weeks and I'm trying to figure out how to break it.
-
I see that (use that part a lot) but where do I see my actual weights in numbers, not the graph? Is my app different?
-
Takingcontrol, what screen are you on when you back arrow. Not sure why I'm finding this so difficult :/

Do you know how to go back on the phone?

How bout this: 5am Cipro with snack if needed (banana maybe?) 7am Vitamins and minerals breakfast/shake 9am calcium Noon (lunch time) calcium 3pm calcium and Protein shake 6pm dinner Bedtime Cipro It's important to take the Cipro separate from vitamins so it can be fully effective.
-
I think I've read that you get up at 5am? Is that right? If so, take your Cipro as soon as you get up. Eat something with it if it upsets your stomach. Then take your vitamins at 7am - that's just an hour later. Move up your evening vitamins to mid afternoon and take your Cipro before bed. Might have to change that evening protein shake for a while. The Cipro needs to be priority here so you don't develop bigger problems. You need to take it about 10-12 hours apart so it can be effective. Just an idea.

I like the Oikos Key Lime. It's blended so no chunks of fruit. Tastes and consistency of key lime pie. Also has a little over 5oz in a cup so I split it into 2 snacks.

How did I know that Fyre and Laura would be involved in a thread titled "blue balls"?

I'm sure you've already gone to the store by now but we do foil packs all the time when camping. You could modify to your food stage right now. Take canned chicken and green beans, fold it up in foil and throw it on the fire or get a small propane stove. You could change it up every day with ham, chicken, tuna, sausage or whatever pickled baloney and veggies u like. That'll give you 1 hot meal a day and some variety. That's how we camp.

I am trying to change the way I think about "wasting" and being bother by throwing food away. As most of you said, I too hate wasting food. However, I was just "wasting" it on my hips rather than the trash can. I didn't need or use the extra food and was just storing it anyway. Trying to change that thought process and let the garbage man store it for me

Am i going to lose more?
Wls4me replied to minnie78's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm with you all on this. Sleeved 2/27, lost 20lbs in 2 weeks (didn't have a preop diet), lost 3 lbs in week 3 and nothing since. Guess I started the "week 3 stall" in week 4. Oh well, guess ill just have to wait it out like everyone else.
