Hang in there I felt the same way. I'm 4 days post op and I know I need this to live a long healthy life. The last couple of days before surgery I was scared and shed quite a few tears. The morning of my surgery I was all about "let's do this"! -
Oh and BTW your so right the gas trapped was the worst part, I was actually vomiting air!

Can u feel the liquids go down? Mine kinda feels like it hits a "rough" patch and then some discomfort when it hits my stomach. What do u think? I'm also taking my pain meds.

I'm 3 days postop and I am struggling with my medication. Can't get the crushed meds down at all. Suggestions welcome!!

I've tried applesauce, smoothie, yogurt and even tried chasing it with a piece of chocolate. NO WAY, just makes me hurl. Tomorrow I'm ordering all liquids. Spray? That's interesting, I'll check it out, thanks!

I'm 3 days put and am actually up a pound?! Wow your results are incredible. I wonder if I will be comparable?!

I am 3 days post op and the only thing that kept me going was knowing that my surgery could be cancelled if I cheated. I read where one dr. turned back after starting the surgery. Anyway hang in there it is sooo worth it. Tricks I used ... Went to bed early, stay busy, eat different broths, keep track of everything. Good luck everyone!

Wow how does it feel to be so much more active? I have always been agile even as a larger woman but now at 50 I am impacted by my weight. I can't wait to feel the change. -
My pain meds r liquid but my others r crushed. I gag so easy this is a true concern. I will try whatever.
