I'll admit that at first turning 40 was kinda depressing, but now 40's is looking pretty awesome ! Spent my 20's having kids, 30's being overweight and depressed and now will be rockin my sleeve at 40.... life doesn't get any better than this! October can't get here quick enough. To those who have had surgery, congratulations... and to the ones getting ready good luck.

That's where I found mine.... been using the toothpaste and mouthwash for a while now. My bp meds dry my mouth out so my family doc suggested I try it.... it works. Just look my the mouthwash

Hello everybody was just wondering is anyone here went to Mexico to get their sleeve done. I had my original consult done in Michigan I'm self pay since my insurance won't pay.... in Michigan the cost $24,500.00. Any who seen an ad Dr. Alvarez and it's much cheaper! Just wondering how everything is done with it being over the border -

The manometry is a little uncomfortable but no worry of throwing up on anyone..... the test took 15 to 20 minutes ..... i really didn't feel anything cause she numbed my throat really good. Good luck -

I've had both tests done... the EGD you're put into what they call "twilight" , they put a tube down your throat to check for strictures, hernias, and any ablation on the esophagus. The manometry wasn't that bad even though you're awake they use a spray to numb your nose and throat. It basically checks the muscles in your throat and makes sure you don't have problems swallowing. -

Hello, have a question about the leak test... my papers say that he now does the leak test during surgery, does he still do the 24 hr test as well? If not, do you get ice chips the night of your procedure or still wait till next day? Thanks -
