Anyone in the Kansas City area?

How does someone all of a sudden become to tight? I hear that said alot and I'm confused why this happens all of a sudden to some people.

Ok this may sound strange but when I'm hungry my band feels like its squeezing my stomach real tight. It actually is uncomfortable. I feel it every morning when I wake up until I eat breakfast. Is that the band tightening over night like people talk about being to tight in the morning? Thing is I can still eat normal without feeling tight. I can also feel a strange lump feeling in my throat during that time. Its nothing new I have felt this from the beginning just decided to ask if anyone else feels this.

I did ask...he thinks I'm nuts! Lol He had no idea.

Its so weird how everyones body reacts so differently to the band!

Interesting! I have heard during your tom some women get tight and in the morning....but wouldnt it go back to normal after?

I told way to many as well I was so excited! Now I feel im having to prove the lap band works! Everyone thinks I should be dropping this weight over night! They dont understand how it works.

No I haven't because I like the fact I can't eat as much during those times! Plus my Dr would kick my butt if I asked for that reason. Lol

But if I want to have a night of drinking what can I drink that isnt carbonated besides wine and hard liquors mixed with juice? At the store I wanted a bottle of margatitas but got scared its carbonated.

Thanks so much! Someone told me all the premixed drinks like wine coolers etc are carbonated.....i didnt think they all were so had to get some advise! Yes I agree with drinking comes the munchies....i just like a drink here and there!

Do u actually live in KC or a surrounding town? Its great to find people close by. Who did your surgery?

I had a perfect margarita on an empty stomach at 6 weeks post op and didnt feel a thing. I was a lil disappointed! Lol

Normally when I diet I lose well.....I am 6 weeks post op...no fills but eating like I'm filled. I have tops a thousand calories a day and havent lost but 2 pds since my post op appt 4 weeks ago. I'm dieting hard and can't figure out why I'm not losing when without a band I would be!

Actually I think u maybe correct! I was thinking about calories but not really paying attention to what my body needs now! Think I may grill some chicken tonight! Thank you so much!
