I work a job where I get to walk a lot. I watch what I eat and I gave up bread and pasta. Other than that, that's all. -

I am 6'4" also and I was very close to you. I was banded August 7th. I just got my 4th fill today and I am down 50 lbs! I gave up bread pasta and pretty much all white carbs and I feel like I'm doing well. I work a pretty physical job so I stay active almost all day long. I have seen a lot of big guys like us on here have great success! It is possible to achieve your goals. Just work hard and listen to your body and you will do great. Good luck! -

I had Dr. Escival. At south Austin hospital. I'm with true results also. I got banded August 7th.

It's so weird how doctors are so different. I got banded August 7th and I've already had 3 fills and I'm a week away from my 4th fill if I need it. I think I'm very close to the green zone. I've dropped 45 pounds in just about 6weeks. I'm am so excited to feel the results. Keep up the great work everyone

I get fills every 2 weeks. I'm wondering if that's too fast? I like it though.

Roxy, stay strong and you will do great! I was banded 8-7 and got my second fill today. I'm down 30lbs as of today. I don't feel very successful but my doctor was very happy. I'm hard on myself so I should be happy. I know where you are coming from with wanting to see rapid results but we need to keep reminding each other that this is a journey not a Sprint. Keep your head up!

I have a 15cc band and just got my first fill today. I have 6.2cc and I'm sure I will be at 10 or above before I reach the "green zone".
