Hi everyone, I just want it to hear how are you doing and your story, mine: I have been banded for 17 months, have lost 54 pounds, struggle on every single pound.. Took my doctor a full year to get me in to any restriction, I have a 14cc band and now I have 11.7cc on it... Feel restriction now, with that said my journey hasn't been a walk in the park, I believe I have lost this 54 pounds by dieting and watching what I eat most of them because like I said I had no restriction... For the last week or so ever since I went for a feel again. I feel a really good restriction, satisfied, not looking for food... I don't even think of food anymore... The reason that I put this post up there is because I feel very discurage, disappointed at my self for not succeeding with my band, sometimes I really think of getting it removed and going for the gastric sleeve surgery.... But I gotta put my feet in ground and stop my self from negative thoughts... Please let me know how you are doing....

Thank you B-52 for sharing your story with me and for those words of encouragement... I'm so glad to hear from you, I do want to give my band and my self a chance... I have seen so many successful stories... I believe that I'm so discurage because it took my doctors so long to put me on the green zone, hopefully from now on I will start seing this pounds melt away.... Thank you...

Jackie thank you so much,, I really need those words of encouraging, I really love when you said " if your not gaining your succeeding". That's true... I really wanna give my self and my band to make it work... I know or the most part it was because I had no restriction.. But now I really feel in the green zone... I'm so glad your doing wonderful.. 10-12 pound a month.. Woooww it all I can say.. Keep up the good work... Congratulation and yes I'm looking forward to loose those pounds too...

Count me in.. I'd love to be part of it... We could all use some support.. I have been banded for over a year and I have really been thinking of getting my band removed and getting the gastric sleeve surgery... I have no real life support and sometimes I feel discurage.

I have being banded for 1 year and have lost 54 pounds total. Finally it took my doctor to put me in the green zone a hole year, and finally I feel some restriction and able to eat less and satisfied faster, but at this point I feel that I lost interest and motivation since I always see in this forum that everyone ales have had such a good results with their bands and for me it seems that it hasn't work as it should.. Need some big motivation, psicological help, and some word of encouragement because I'm even thinking of seing a doctor to flak about removing my band or going for sleeve surgery.. Please help

Good question, I'm not sure.. Some days I feel that I am in the green zone, satisfied with little food, eating only once or twice a day, having stuck episodes, coughing food up, etc, etc... But there is other days where I can eat anything I want, I ind my self looking for food and snacks, there is some days when all I think about is a big butteringer or some other days that I want is salty foods like Fritos... Not sure if I'm in the green zone or not... I'm actually thinking of going back to the doctor and getting a small fill again.... I have 11cc on my 14cc band... Have lost 50 pounds in the last 8 months... Do to your experience, should I go get another fill or am I on the green zone already?

I'll suggest a small unfill. Last time I got a fill, I got a aggressive one too and I felt the same was for like 3 to 4 days.. I still fill pretty tight but I am able to get solid foods down, with no problems most of the time. I still have my bad days sometimes when my band just doesn't want to take any food for an entire day.. Best of luck..!!!

I have been diagnose with polycystic ovarian syndrome my entire life, unable to loose weight, unable to ovulate and all that fun stuff, ever since I got my band I have been able to loose 52 pounds so far in 8 months, but for some reason I think that my body has a set weight that is fighting me to maintain, it has been so hard for me to loose weight besides it took me almost 7 months to get to the green zone, have any of you ladies have the same issues, and any advised that you can give me.. I really want to loose more weight, main goal is to feel better, be healthier and be able to have another baby...

What info are we suppose to put in the tag?

Thank you ladies for all your advice and help, I reasently just got to my green zone like 2 weeks ago, took me 8 months, still managed to loose 44 pouns so far, lost 4 extra pounds in the last 2 weeks, so I must be doing something good, defenetly I will keep my self more active, super hard for me since I work in a call center, phone customer service, sitting in my desk for over 9 hours daily with no fisical activity at all. Will need to start doing something soon. Thank you again, you guys are an inspiration to me...

You look great lala, you will need to shares some tips with me, I also got banded late December 2011 and have lost 44 pounds so far, I will like to kmow you secret, 80 pouns is amazing, was it the food, the exercise? Any advice...

I have a 14cc band and it took almost 11cc to get me to the green zone, I have lost 44 pounds in the last 8 months, hopefully I will be able to loose more now that I have notice a big change on my food portions and now finally giving my self some me time to excersice, I'm really determine on loosing at lease 2 pounds per week from now on.. You guys are all an inspiration to me, thank you..

All these stories, just give me more strength to keep going, and continue my good eating habits... I starter at 22 size and now I am a size18, 44 pounds later, had my surgery done 6 monts ago, and finally on my green zone after my last fill, can't wait to really start loosing my extra weight. You ladies are such an inspiration for me... Thank you..

It has happened to me too, it's weird to feel that your stomach is hungry but not your brain. I still don't know how to process that feeling. Just eat a small healthy snack untill your meal time. Make sure you drink lots of water

I have 10 1/4cc on a 14cc band and now i kind of feel am in the greenzone, it took me all this time toget there. I can feel the restriction finally, my doctor was considering removing this band and replacing it for a smaller 10cc band, thank god is working now.. I felt hungry for like the longest time, hang in there, it will get better...

Had my surgery 6 months ago, lost 44 pounds so far, last Friday went back to True Results to get a fill, I finally have 10 1/4cc in my band, but still don't feel i'm in the green zone, talking to my doctor about it, she mention that she has seeing a trend on people with 14cc bands having a hard time getting in to the green zone because the band is too big for us. It will take more fluid to take me in to the green zone, i have an appointment next thursday to get an ultrasound to see if they are going to be able to make the band work for me by just putting fr fluids in to it or she is actually considering removing this band and putting a 10cc band on me.. This is depressing for me, I have been working so hard to loose the weight and now come to find out that the band my be replace meaning other surgery again.. Know I'm just thinking if they did it for insurance purpose, if they actually knew this was going to happened and because they know that my insurance has approved every charge, know they're just doing it to get more money from the insurance... Don't know what to do...

I have 10 1/4cc on my 14cc band and I'm finally filling something, so hopefully I will just need a little more fluid to get me to the green zone and I won't need another surgery to replace my band...

Prenatal pills, my doctor old me it will improve my hair, nails and skin..

My motivation is being healthier, my family and my new babies that I want to have... We are planning on 2 more babies in the next few years. So all i need is to get healthy to live happily ever after my fairy tale story. Life is good...!!!

Thank you 2muchfun for sharing the video, I have no problems eating fruits, peaches, strawberries, mangos, I had 1 incident with bananas, it got sock, and I haven't try again since then, but I think it's all about bite size. Enjoy fruits..

Here is my situation, I got my band 6 months ago, and I have been able to loose 44 pounds since then, but it has been so hard for me to loose weight, I think my body has a set weight that it's fighting me to keep, the main reason that I got this surgery is because I want to be healthy and be able to have another baby, talking to my ob/gyn told me that the only way I was going to be able to ovulate normally is by loosing weight, again my progress has been slow and I just don't know what ales to do, I follow all the instructions from my doctors, any suggestions or anyone going through the same situation as me, please advise...
