    Veggie Burgers ?

Any of the veggie burgers you can top like you would a regular burger. Good luck, hope you find some you like. At Costco the black bean burgers are frozen but the refrigerated veggie burgers are the ones my kids seem to enjoy most and my sister started them on them.

    Veggie Burgers ?

Btw, there are several different brands of veggie burgers and not all are created equal. My kids didn't care for many of the frozen ones but they really like the refrigerated ones I got at Costco and most recently some black bean burgers.

    Veggie Burgers ?

Trash as you you bury it in the kitchen sack! J/k - sorry, I don't care for veggie burgers! Guessing salsa or guac would be ok though to help disguise it.

    Question: Chicken Soup

Personally, I cook the chicken breast in a separate pan then add it to the soup. Reason being is when I boil the chicken breast in the soup it gets all this slimey white residue that is hard to strain out. If you boil it separately, the soup won't get the white foamy stuff. Enjoy!

    Scared To Desth About Sticking

I can eat most anything but I ate a piece of pork roast early on that was dry and it was a miserable experience that I have never replicated <<phew>>. The only thing that I don't do well with is the drier meats (overcooked or reheated) and mushy breads gets stuck. I have heard people say that asparagus and oranges can be difficult but so far I have been ok with those. Just make sure to eat Protein first (3-4 ounces) and fill up on that, then veggies, then a small serving of starch if you desire. Good luck!

    Scared To Desth About Sticking

I get it but it is unlikely this early on if you take small bites then chew, chew and chew and wait between bites. Just avoid dry foods (like dry or reheated meats) and many of us have trouble with soft breads.

    Checking In....haven't Been Around

So sorry for all the devastation you have been experiencing. Regarding being denied, please do not give up. I have seen many people get "denied" and it was a simple fix of the insurance company just needing more information, etc. Hang in there and work w/ the surgeon's office. They want to help you get approved and should be able to get to the bottom of it. They don't generally submit it to insurance if they don't feel you are a viable candidate. I have faith and will keep you in my prayers for healing from the storm damage and for things to go through with your surgery.

    Restriction

Most of us don't feel any/much restriction until after a few fills. Sorry to say as I know we are eager to get there. I have had 3 fills and am only now feeling it. Good luck.

Better Now, Thank You Guys For Helping!!!

Yay! Welcome "back"!!! The emotional aspect is challenging and when we get that under control it is amazing what we can do! Glad to hear things are back on track.
  19. So how does it feel having lost all the weight? Did it alleviate any health issues, do you notice a difference in yourself (other than appearance)? I have lost about 55 lbs now and notice a big difference in my energy level. I still have another 100 to go (almost) so I can only dream of how great it will feel when I get there. Looking forward to the before/after pics! Congrats again.

thanks for sharing the pics!! Great progress! Keep smiling
  22. I agree with MIS73. We are all eager to get to our green zone and don't realize what a change that can be. My doctor is conservative and, while I get impatient, it is nice to ease into this lifestyle change. My last fill I ended up too tight and was like that for a week. It was NO fun.

    Solids After Surgery

From what I have read and seen on this site, you will know if your band slipped. People have trouble getting anything down, often have severe reflux and difficulty a night lying down, etc. Glad you are going to turn things around!

    Better Than I Thought!

That is amazing progress!!! Initially, many of us lose quicker as we are much heavier so to be this far out and still be losing a pound a week that is great!! Congrats to you! Do you feel different overall? Have you ever checked your measurements?
  25. What an awesome story!! You are an inspiration. Sorry to hear about your daughter and hope things work out for her.
