Ok So Here Is My Story. On Monday I Had My 3rd Fill Not Sure How Much I Had In There Never Really Asked The Dr. So Any Way Choked Down 3 Cups Of Water Was Really Really Really Tight, But I Thought Thats Ok I Want To Be Tight Right? Wrong I Live About An Hour And A Half From My Dr Office I Left The Dr Office Around 1 And By 4 I Was Throwing Up My Spit. By The Time I Got To The Er I Had To Wait 4 More Hours Before I Got Some Of My Fill Taken Out. By That Time I Was Pbing About Ever 20 Mins Or So On Nothing It Sucked! So Make Sure You Do Not Leave The Dr Office If You Fill Way To Tight. Ask To Have Some Taken Out You Do Not Want To Wait For Hours At The Er. Doing Good Now Back To Normal.

I am bored, need some new ideas. started pre-op diet march 1st weighed 267 had surgery on march 15th have had 2 fills go in for 3rd one June 11th (maybe) to date weigh 226

I used a heating pad it was nice. I never had shoulder pain ever one is different. The shoulder pain is from the gas in your tummy tring to get out. Just make sure you get up and walk right away.........................

Hi all I'm so glad to hear everyone is doing well. Wendy I know you will start to feel better soon. have not been here for a while thought i would say hi. my body is changing lots i have people saying wow you have lost so much weight it is so nice to hear. and then they say what are you doing to lose all the weight and i tell them i work out and eat small protions which is true but i feel bad that i dont tell them the whole truth, anyone else feel this way?

Wenjea, Dr. Oh does not make you go on clear liquids before a fill, but u are on clear liquids after fill for 48 hours.

I havent read to much about what it is like to have your band slip. Did you call your Dr.? have u had a fill? It only hurts when u eat? Maybe you are just restricted. Sorry I cant help w/ this more. Let me know how u are doing.

Nbjen, Yeah I Am So Happy You Are Doing So Will. You Will Be Down 30lbs Before You Know It. I Love Watching The Cooking Channel Too. Love To Cook. Pretty Soon You Can Cook And Eat A Couple Of Bites And Be Full Its Great. Don't Get Me Wrong I Still Want To Pig Out And Get Upset That I Can't. Its That Stupid Emo. Eating That Gets To Me.

You need to get your fill, can you ask to see your Dr. sooner? Call and let them know yes you have done so good so far w/ out a fill, but now you can't stop eating when you need to. Good Luck and let us know how it goes. Try not to over eat! Easier said then done I know.

nbjen, i Hope All Went Well With Your Surgery. I'm Sure We Won't Here From You For Maybe A Day Or Two Longer Maybe By Monday. Before You Left You Asked How Things Are Going For Me. Things Are Pretty Good. Since My Fill Witch Will Be 2 Weeks On Monday, I Am Down 5lbs Slower Then I Thought But I Am Down A Total Of 30lbs Since 3-15. But I Was A Size 20 Now I Am In A 16 Depending On Where The Pants Are From. I Have Felt Like I Wanted To Bp Or Slim A Few Times Since The Fill, But Have Not Yeah.... anyway Good Luck To Everyone Getting Banded And Just Been Banded And Those Of Us Learning How To Make This Tool Work For Us.

Wenjea, you will do great don't worry. It is clear liquids. suger free jello, popsicles, chicken broth, ect. There is not really much of a choice. It sucks, but it will go by before you know it. Just keep thinking about getting the band, and how it will change your life.

Singandsew-No I don't know the Mills, but I'm sure I've seen them. Wenjea-Yes people around here are pretty nice, I have heard good things about the shop you went to never been there myself ( I love it here ) Nbjen- Who is your dr.? Maybe we can start a support group for people close to us to meet 1 or 2 times a month. I have one friend that got the band almost 2 years ago and sometimes i feel like I bug her taking to much about my band.(she would never say that) So it would be nice to have more people to talk to in person about this.

Thanks everyone for your support. I got my 1st fill on Monday seems to be going good. Wenjea it should be soon, I was self pay w/ Dr. Oh and they did surgery on me in less then a month from my 1st appt. Good Luck to everyone! Is there anyone near Cle Elum out there?

Hi everyone- Dr. Oh is my doctor too. love the team. I am stressing out because i lost 15 pounds 1 week after surgery and 10 pounds before surgery. So great right? But i have not lost a pound since and have even gone up a pound or two. I go in for one month appt. on mon. 4-16. Any one else have this problem? What will Dr. Oh say, will he still give me a fill?

I was banded on 3-15-07. Its been hard!!! I have been very sick. Today is the best I have felt. My stomach can't handly pain meds. and the gas oh the need to burp a can't. I'm hoping this is the hardest and things will only get better from here.
