I may have to try it. They are much cheaper than the Bariatric chews.

My size 6 clothes have gotten super tight. I refuse to go back up. You know people are watching us. Remember the people who loved to tell you about someone they knew who didn't lose weight after the surgery? Plus I feel horrible when I don't eat right. At first I didn't gain any weight but I wasn't as tone. People would always comment on how tiny my waist was but it's not like that after gaining 12 pounds so it's time to get serious.

I don't use fitbit but everyone seems to like it. I may need to do 5:2. Need to find the website again. Might try substituting one meal with a protein drink.

I am so glad you mentioned that it's cheap. I bought a really cute top there for a party, wore it once. Went to pull it out the other day and it was torn.

How long do you wait to drink after eating?
smithpy replied to smithpy's topic in WLS Veteran's Forum
My doctor said I can eat 15 mins after I drink which is very doable, but to wait 2 hrs after the meal which is hard. 30 mins is doable but I will say I tend to feel like my stomach is super full if I drink that soon. -
FYI as a troop leader helping sell Cookies for two girls I totally get it cause my garage was full of cookies. You can participate in Troop to Troop where you donate money toward boxes of cookies sent to the military troops. This can also be done online. This helps you support the Girl Scouts and our solider without gaining calories. Pamela

I have Davidson also. Lost 104 pounds but gained back 12.5 so I'm focused on eating right and exercising again.

Did you ever start your chapter? I was also sleeve Oct. 23, 2012 at Forest Park and would love some local support.

Way to go fallen. Keep up the great progress. You are an inspiration.

When was your surgery? How has the journey been so far? I was sleeved Oct. 23, 2012. I lost a little over 100 pounds. I actually started eating junk a several months back. I'm surprised that it took this long to catch up with me. Not sure why I even bother to eat and drink junk. I feel more satisfied when I eat my protein like I'm supposed to.

I would love something in northeast Dallas. -
I didn't think about sipping too much. I definitely gulp down water like in the old days. May need to slow it down.

Are you able to swallow to Citracal petites? I bought them and they were bigger than I expected. I'm a year and 1/2 out and wasn't sure. Pamela

I can finally buy a bra at Victoria Secret. Very expensive but nice to be able to do it.

You are going to have to change your username. You are skinny mom now. -
Jenni, your posts reminds me that I need to get back to smaller meals and eating slower.
-
You look great. Awesome job.

Thank you.

No bathroom issues. I do hate it though because I just started a new job. Sometimes it's really loud in meetings. Someone once heard it on the phone too. Embarrassing.

Where is this support group? I would love some info. Pamela

LDallas. Hang in there. I have my moments. I went on a seven day strict diet a couple of months ago to get myself back on track. I am at goal and sometimes I don't eat as I should but for the most part I am doing well. Best of luck in 2014. -

For those if you wanting to get/keep focused, how about a weekly conference call just for us Oct 2012 sleevers. We can discuss where we are and how to stay on task. Maybe Sunday evenings for 30 mins to 1 hr. Anyone interested? Let me know and I'll set up the call. we can start next Sunday. Pamela
