    STRAWS AND GUM

Ive used a straw since day one. Never an issue. But I never had any gas ever...so I'm a lucky one I reckon
  2. Down 76 from starting weight, 70 since preop diet and 52 since surgery. Absolutely no issues. Never had pain or gas or reduce. I'm lucky. Dont really have a lot of restriction but I'm never hungry. I'm 6 foot 3 315 right now so I'm shooting for about 230 as my goal. Ill have to see how that looks on Mr and go from there. Feels weird saying that since I don't remember being as light ad I am now in 20 years. The sleeve is a blessing.
  3. Preop start weight...385 Surgery weight.........367 5 weeks post op.......344 We always wanna move faster in the weightloss department but ill take 20ish pounds a month. Especially being that I just started walking exercising. Been smooth sailing, never took a pain pill outside of hospital, never had any naseau or vomiting. My pain was never more than a 1 after surgery. Went back to work 4 days after surgery. The new life is being good to me so far. Also never hungry, not even head hunger. I feel I'm one of the lucky ones.
  4. Awesome job! Keep working hard
  5. HW 391 PREOP DIET WEIGHT 385 SURGERY DATE 367 TODAY: 327 I guess im losing at alright pace, basically with preop diet its 60 pounds in 10 weeks. Always like to have more, but i guess beggers cant be choosey. No issues whatsoever, never had pain, no reflux or gas...was crazy easy. Can drink whatever i want and eat whatever i want...i have stuck to my diet, but know that eating is/will be easy...no cravings whatsoever and i dont see it being a problem sticking to it... What do you think? Am i on a good pace or am is slow loser?

    Searching for encouragement

Your doing great, sounds normal to me. The feeling you will get when drain is removed doesn't hurt but it's like a snake swimming in your insides when they pull it out. Weird experience, lol...didn't hurt though.....keep up the great job
  8. Sleeved 11/12. Down 53 including preop. Been a smooth ride so far
  9. Zero pain, zero naseau or vomiting, never any gas. Never took a pain pill after released from hospital.

    Recovery time, nausea, and air?

I never had any pain, naseau or vomiting. No problems drinking or eating. I'm 5 weeks out. I went to work 5 days after surgery. Of course I got fatigued by end of day but wasn't bad. Was lucky
  12. Great job! You look awesome

    12 Days Post Op

Its funny, I'm on the liquid diet, which mine allows me cream Soups and puddings and jello...but honestly I have just been drinking 2 large Protein Drinks getting 60 grams of Protein off that and crystal light with unjury unflavored protein, getting around 80 grams a day of protein and way more than necessary. I'll have tomatoes Soup with skim milk or chicken broth once a day. Not craving any food at all. Can start puree on monday but as fast as I'm losing weight I'm not in a huge hurry. I can drink pretty much like I could before surgery. I don't guzzle, just take nice big sips pretty much constantly. Hope others are as successful as I have been so far. Keep waiting for a setback, hopefully it doesn't come.
  16. Pre 2 week liquid diet: 385 Day of surgery: 367 Today: 343 Pretty happy with 42 pounds since pre op started. Absolutely no issues, never had naseau or any pain at all. Consider myself lucky, went back to work 5 days post op .
  17. I can drink normal. No gas, no pain at all. I take sips pretty much but a lot bigger than I was expecting at this point. Anyone else like this? I can drink a shake in 30 to 40 minutes. Happy about it but thought I'd be feeling some restriction. No hunger ever though which is good and I've stuck with shakes and crystal light all week. Been satisfied.
  18. That's good to hear. Its like you are happy you can drink no problem but you want proof that they took your stomach out. Lol hopefully next week my restriction comes.
  19. I agree with the quicker healing. Been getting 75 grams of protein easy a day and more than enough fluids. Just wanted to see if its normal or not. Not even craving the next stage really but I'm sure some food tastes will be good
  20. Has anyone else felt this fast good.enough to wanna go back to work? Did I get duped and not have he sleeve done? Lol. Honesty have zero issues with drinking and never had pain. I'm not trying to complain about feeling great but I keep waiting for the hammer to drop. At least give me nausea or heartburn so ill know lol...sorry but I hope I lose weight. Hope she didn't for get to.cut my belly

No Urge To Eat Or Drink

I was sleeved Monday and although I'm not hungry or thirsty I can drink as much as I want. I obviously do.t guzzler but getting in all my protein and water no problem. No pain drinking or anything. Doesn't even.seem like I.had surgery. But not hungry
  22. The one I bought is larger than normal chewable vitamins. I only tried it before surgery, and haven't done anything but liquids since surgery Monday. Also what other vitamins to you recommend.
  23. I'm 3 days post op. I had a bowel movement morning of surgery and haven't went since. Its not panic time but is there any suggestions that may help me get my first one? Dont want the days to get to far out
