I signed mine today surgery on the 15th. Take out your fall clothes from last yr and.know u won't see that size again. Then look t swimsuits without skirts online !! U can do it. Janet

wow this is a mind trick not to eat. Busting out more Popsicles as my stomach growls for a cup of protein broth. This has to be one of the most challenging things. I want this so bad I am doing it.

I am on my first day. I am not hunger but the taste of a salad was awesome. I am in the parking lot at the supermarket on my 2nd Popsicle !!

Day 1 hour 4 of liquid diet. I am not hungry bit want to eat. I may need more celery.

One day left to eat and have a food funeral before starting my 2 week liquid and veggie diet. What happens? I get a tongue infection and it burns my tongue badly to eat especially these Doritos !! Damn!

Yeah!! All paperwork done and approved by personal choice in 24 hrs!! I got my approval today with a surgery date of oct 15. Took a month off work. How long did every need off work?

OMG! The idea of not eating some foods ever again has me tasting every last favorite food. I have been following a good diet for the past two months and lost 11 pounds. My appetite has shrunk, the food tastes not at good as it used to. I think I am ready to stop eating now after that cheesesteak and cheese fries with a side of M&Ms and frozen mint yogurt. Hand me healthy food please! I am looking forward to those tubs of nectar that arrived today!

My surgery is oct 15 and going on a cruise dec 17. My doc said there should be no issues.

I take lexapro daily for anxiety disorder. It is a godsend. Did anyone have to stop taking it for a period of time before or after surgery ?

This lady at gvh where I am getting tests for surgery who is 3 times my size goes why so drastic of a surgery for this. I wanted to tell her off.

I had a breast reduction tummy tuck and neck lift. I should be a pro by now!

don't let anyone shame you for making a choice to change your own life for the better. if she's that much bigger than you, she's probably that much more miserable about it, and this is her way of reinforcing her OWN decision to do nothing... she's projecting her negative thoughts about it on you. Love this! I just told her ummm I need to and smiled. Thankfully I am a confident tough chic!

The reason my husband is supportive is because he knows I struggle with it. People sometimes think this is like plastic surgery which I had my fair share of. It isn't. I haven't had my surgery yet but know things will change. They need to because I need to be physically unable to eat 3 giant banana pancakes with butter syrup and a side of bacon.
