I was banded last Monday so a little over a week ago. Starting this Monday I have been having gout in my right foot everynight. I know it is gout because I have had it before and have meds for me but every night it comes back. Very strange.:help:

Was banded on May 1st - have lost only 22 pounds. Have had two fills and one almost unfill. I can't seem to keep anything down...spend most of my time puking. Lost my job a month ago with my insurance so I can't go back to the doc until I findi another job with insurance. Maybe I am trying to ear too much??? I don't know...my first six weeks were heaven....now it is hoirrible. I am definately wondering at this point why I did this. Can you tell me what you typically eat throughout the day? Maybe I am trying to eat more than I should. Any help would be great. Thanks, Sherry:faint:

Hi, Banded 4.30 and had my first fill on 6.12 of 5cc's. Since then everytime I eat I get one mouthful into something and I get an awful pain in my left shoulder. To the point that I stop eating competely. Last evening it was so bad I left the restaurant. Just put a call into my DR....but until then....and idea what is going on???:help:

Hi, Was banded on 4.30 and just had my first fill today. He gave me 5cc's, told me to eat whatever I want, call him if I vomited liquids only (and he would take some out). He said though that he held back on giving me more than 5 cc's. Well I came back and starting eating and had some pain in my shoulders (is this unusual?) but that eventually went away. Didn't eat as much as I would have had for lunch yesterday so I guess the fill is working.

Hi, Was banded on 4.30 and have lost 7 pounds as of yesterday. I don't always feel like I am full though. Is that natural? Going for my first fill on June 12th, next Tuesday. Will that help alot? Bit confused at this point..... Thanks:help:

HI Belles, I had my surgery right at Rush University (because I work there). He is a great doc and everything went very smooth. I was the first one for the day at 7:30 so I went home Monday night. Felt good on Tuesday, crappy on Wednesday (because I did too much on Tuesday) but other than that I am fine. Yeah the two weeks are brutual and the next week isn't much better (but I really am not that hunger this week) and tomorrow starts mushies so......onward I go. Keep in touch and let me know how everything is going for you. By the way, where do you live? I am in Homewood. Take care.

Hi, I am feeling okay, took the week off, probably could have gone back to work on Wednesday, but figured what the heck. I work at Rush University that's why I was thinking it was Dr. Myers. Nice guy. I have read a couple of things that say that the average weight loss is about 8 pounds a month, is that about right? Going tomorrow on the 90 mile garage sale event from Joilet to Towanda - the old Route 66. Have a good weekend with whatever you do.

Saw that you were banded by Dr. Myers -- is that Jonathan Myers with Rush? I was just banded on Monday (five days ago). Also when someone has 4 weights listed - when does that mean? Thanks for the patience...too new at this.

I have a HBP, Liptor and Cybalta (for fibramyalgia) to take. Just crushed them and put them in yougurt which is awful. Took two swallows and into the garbage it went. Was just banded yesterday. Help!:help:
