Hey, I feel like you just took my words out of context! :thumbup: You made it sound like I'm blaming men for pregnancy, that's just ridiculous. :thumbup: I am, I was going to wait to announce but I keep finding reasons to talk about it, so I guess that defeated the whole purpose. It's kind of a shock.

Something I have been craving, I had it a couple weeks ago.. TGIF's got a new bbq shrimp skewer. It's bacon-wrapped shrimp grilled in bbq sauce. Sounds weird, but it is amazing. Normally we go there every Friday for lunch, but some reason we didn't go this past week.. meh shrimps!

Yeah what losing said, there's something in the water at LBT!!! Wheet, did you pee in the pool?! And losing, yes it does work if you can eat lol. That was totally going to be my excuse, but logical doctor, etc. (Men.)

Yeah I guess that's my point, I'd have some sort of excuse to eat like a cow, ya know "Baby just CRAVED xyz (+everything else in the world), what can you do?!"

I was hoping to get fat during pregnancy (not really, I just hoped I'd be able to eat bad.. I like food), but my doctor is a logical man.. who said doctors are suppose to be the voice of reason?! He only took out the bare minimum to keep me from being 'too tight'. I'm just back to a sweet spot.. was really hoping to have a horror story about how I ate like a cow during pregnancy and got real fat.. teehee.

I wished they would have let me. I had surgery at 6am, was up and aware by 10am, and by about 3pm I was asking to go home. By midnight that night I was BEGGING them to let me go home, I just wanted to be in my bed relaxing (I hate hospitals). They didn't let me go till noon the next day, but I would have much rather gone home same day. For my revision surgery, they let me go home as soon as I stopped asking for pain meds (about 3 hours post-op).

You ARE A loser :thumbup: Think of what you'd have gained by now without the surgery, you're going in the right direction. Plateaus are normal, look around the boards, we all hit them at some point. Keep eating healthy, exercise (more if you already have been), and wait it out.

Yeah I thought it was near 3k. And that's an.. APPETIZER. I'm lucky in the fact I never cared for fries! DH loves fries covered in stuff as appetizers. I jumped into this conversation because I had lobster bisque for lunch and I'm STUFFED. So this doesn't make me hungry right now mwhaha :thumbup:

I always liked dipping 90% of things in mayonaisse. Everything tastes better with mayo! Like chicken (on or off the bone), fries, bread, whatever. I had a friend growing up who ate ketchup like a main dish. She would actually get a burger from McDonalds, and tell them to hold EVERYTHING.. but ketchup.. so it was a bun with a huge glob of ketchup.

And to make matters more interesting, she's been asking me and my mom 'How can you get pregnant, what is ovulating, etc." kind of questions.. then she said "What if I end up pregnant?" and my mom didn't even give her a response, I just said "Well, since you're a lesbian--and you didn't finish school to be able to educate yourself (I was bein funny)-- another girl can't get you pregnant". I have this sinking feeling one of these days she's going to be stupid and try to get knocked up so she can have a baby to play with :/

Well I said I'd take pics, this is the other side of Guntersville Lake.. It was storming, so this is all I could come up with!! (The distortion of movement with the windshield wiper and my camera phone, made it look really weird!!)

She does know, and no, I would not let her babysit. That's what I'm saying, she's been all excited about it--I'm not causing a fight about it this early on, but I know I wouldn't allow it.

Oh, wanted to rant about my sister. She got out of rehab, and she has things she has to do. IOP 2x a week, and for insurance to cover IOP she has to go to AA/NA 2x a week. She has to get a job, she has to check in where she is going (with my parents), and weekly drug testing. She still hasn't gotten a job, she's out with her friends all the time, and always going to Nashville to visit her girlfriend. My parents are still giving her money freely (We had talked about how this is an enabling act, and they wouldn't do it.. but they are again!??!) I can't point out to them how they are doing the wrong things with her, so I just have to watch and go DUH?! She has been skipping AA/NA, which is irresponsible, because now insurance won't pay for IOP. She doesn't care of course, since it's not coming from her money. Meanwhile, Sunday she was leaving and said she was going to the Hooka lounge. Hello?! They smoke that weird drug, it's not illegal (yet), but someone trying to recover, does NOT need to hang out at a hooka lounge, smoking a 'legal' drug that gets you high. Just a matter of time before she's back into her crap. She's already gushed (and has through the years) about babysitting my kids, and it's always been in the back of my mind, I wouldn't trust my kids with her.. she's not changing that mentality for me, and lately she keeps bringing it up and I just have to smile and nod.

I don't know the car rental situation at the airport, some reason I want to say they only have 1 rental place there, I've passed it walking out.. I know there is an Enterprise en route between airport & my house.. so if you see a better deal there, let me know.. I can pick you guys up and take you to the Enterprise (Hwy 20/Madison Blvd).

Ok here's an original LaLa recipe mwhaha.. I came up with it from reading different salad recipes and phyllo recipes. Oddly enough, this one wasn't there.. but similar items. For 2 Tomato & Mozzerella Phyllo Cups: Muffin Tin 2 sheets of phyllo 4 small rectangles of mozzerella 1 tomato Butter Minced Garlic --- Melt butter, mix in the garlic and let it set for a while. Spray muffin tin with no-stick stuff. Roll out the 2 pieces of phyllo, seperate them.. Brush butter onto first phyllo sheet, top with other phyllo sheet. Brush 2nd piece with the butter. Cut them down the middle evenly. Cut each of the 2 pieces in half, so you have 4 squares total. Cross 2 sets of squares into the muffin tin, push down till it makes a pretty little flower cup. Repeat for 2nd. I used halved slices of tomato, but I think chunks would have been better. Put them in the cups, then salt & pepper them. Top with 2 pieces of the cheese overlapping. Sprinkle more pepper. Cook @375 for 20 minutes. Ta-DA!

Must be in the air, I don't feel like being at work either. And that's rare, because I like my office and coworkers.. but today feels like a lay in bed all day..day. Liked the poem Pam, my distraction is normally something I find while cleaning! I'll be cleaning, then find a notebook that I want to write in, or a book I want to read, etc.. and amazingly I get distracted as much as a kid would! Did I tell ya'll I am at 212lb?! I am still losing! I am SO CLOSE to 100's. It's so exciting, but then I have to remind myself I probably won't be hitting it for at least another year.. wah.

I love tomatoes right now!! Dont think it's a pregnancy thing, I use to only like homegrown ones dipped in ranch, but sometime beginning of this year I had a tomatoe mozzerela salad, and now I love em.. and I happen to have philo dough in the freezer, and found a great recipe for baked tomato mozzerela salad in a philo cup. Yum?! I'm going to make some tonight and freeze them, see how that works.. take one to work everyday for lunch.

Oh yeah, welcome to Huntsville.. Remember how I told you it's only 1 terminal with like 10 gates? I can never directly fly anywhere, I always stop at Atlanta, somewhere in Texas, or Nashville...90% of the time is Atlanta though. For a year, they did non-stop flights to NYC, because we have a lot of business/Nasa/government stuff in town so they were trying to be nice to the businessmen, but it didn't generate enough interest.

Well, I had visions of a grand unfill and I could eat a hamburger. NOT SO MUCH. Doctor is thrilled with my progress and doesn't want be to backpedal. Glad one of us is logical. So he only took out .5cc. I instantly felt the pain in my chest subside and the bite of roast beef that was bouncing around went away. He didn't want to do more than .5cc, to my disappointment. Made chicken fingers for dinner, could only eat 3. DOH. Guess I'm back to a sweet spot.. darn.. no, I should be happy. But ya know how it is.. fat girl and her food. I was daydreaming about the food I'd eat after today. That's right, this band does nothing for my head issues with food. Anyway, Michelle.. hope you figure something out, but sometimes when I'm in a funk, I think about like nuns in a convent. They weren't teenagers going "I'm going to be a nun", something just happened one day. Well, the calling. There's other examples not on the top of my head too, but that's something I think about when I have too much free time.. Midlife "crisis" is normal, and in one of these classes I just took we covered a whole chapter on it, and based on discussions (there were some 40-50 year olds in the class) it's decided that crisis isn't a good term for it, because generally it brings about GOOD change. Taking control of your life, changing things you always wanted to change but never saw yourself doing. So, figure it out and DO it! :smile2:
