Hahahaha ladies, I've been really moping since I weighed myself yesterday. Misery loves company, I hate to say I'm glad someone else gained more than they think they should so early!? I'm emberassed to admit, I was losing the first week I found out, and in one friggin week I went from 212lb to 217lb. 5lb!! I'm not even unfilled much.. I've been eating a lot of crap, but no more than usual (I thought). I'm a bit bummed, and I keep saying "I'll do better today", and I am trying..but sweet cravings are ridiculous...and knocking out smoking and caffeine is triggering me to eat when I'm not hungry. Just want to waaah with you. I am hopeful though since you said you lost it losing.. I got all the tempting crap out of my house, so back to eating boring stuff.. hopefully. I was bitching to DH I am dying for a fresh donut.. and I don't even eat donuts.. and I looked, we don't even HAVE donut places here.. DOH.. good thing, I know.. but I can't believe if I want a fresh donut, I can't get one!

I believe Zofran is the dissolvable tablet they gave me.. they also gave me little pills that you swallow, I'll check the name if you're interested? I'm starting my week 7 and still no signs of morning sickness, so I think I may be a lucky one!

Hey hey! Just had to pop in to say, I just finished reading Water for Elephants! I started reading it in bed last night, really good book! I have been reading it since I woke up (the 2nd time!) today. Where is everyone?!

Morning v's! I think I'm going to go get back in bed, I didn't see what time it is! I'm tired, but my back was hurting so I got up.. I had a bizarre dream about ya'll!!! I was a kid again, and in my parents house that we moved out of when I was 12.. and my brother had his friends over (we were all kids) and I told him I had you guys coming over so they had to clear out--and they wouldn't. So we fought and it was really weird!! Some of you showed up, but I didn't recognize 3 people.. and I remember Pam being there, she was looking at a roman soldier statue my mom had (she doesn't really have) and was telling a story about it lol.

I am extremely gassy since this Monday!! I am not generally a gassy person, so for it to continue this long, I know it's not something I ate. It's getting worse, and I work in an office with people coming & going constantly so I am having to go run down the hall to an empty office to let it out (lol, picture it?!). And spraying my body splash stuff. My obgyn is a voicemail system, and they don't call me back for at least 24 hours.. anyone know if you can take gas-x? Or a good home remedy for it? :smile2:

Not sure about sleep studies, but in surgery they need to see your toenail beds too!

I've been reading this mini-drama and watching it unfold. Just had to say, she nailed this on the head. All of my 'guy friends' I've had through the years, have all tried to get with me at some point. Even the ones who I completely thought it was 100% platonic. I really believed we could be friends, and majority of them I ended up staying friends with.. but at some point in the years I'd know them, they tried something at least once.

They need to be able to see your nailbeds, to make sure your body isn't too low in oxygen.

My hair has become oily and greasy.. Even after showering, it looks like I didn't shower, or showered without shampoo.

You said you tried every anti-nausea idea.. but have you tried meds? I have not had morning sickness, but my doc called me in 2 Rx for 'when you need them', but I'm thinking I may never need them! One is a pill that dissolves on your tongue.

I barely breathe when I've gotten high because of how quickly I am trying to shove food into my mouth. Bwhahaha.. I don't care what you want to call it, I can't eat enough when it comes to pot.. which is why I basically gave it up when I got banded. Everyone is different though, I do know some people who don't get the munchies and think I was just being a cow.

Alcohol isn't going to be good for shrinking your liver, so don't do that! Never heard of a milk diet though, I'd imagine a lot of poo'ing is involved!

Hah hah, I don't want to be in charge, I just want managers to friggin do their jobs, I don't know what they are doing all day!!!!! Good news is, they're going through the processes of hiring a QC, that I know, who is friggin awesome, we consult him with problems we have around here and he knows what he's talking about. Hopefully he can come in here and get our managers to start acting like managers!! I did talk to them about what I'm going to do when I have a kid, I don't want to quit working and wasn't sure how it'd work out. They said they're going to move me to the big office (the one I didn't want when we were moving around a few months ago) that has a secretary office connected to it.. it's out in the back by itself, and I can work there and have baby with me! Woohoo, how nice is that?! They said as the baby gets older, if I don't want to do daycare (which at this point I don't think I do), the secretary office can be turned into a play room. How accomodating!

Argh, I forgot the book again!!!!! I ended up staying at work till about 10:30 last night. Had an odd thing happen, I had a $20k order that was DUE last week. Friday night they sent it home with a guy for him & his wife to hand-glue it (it was software boxes with special decals). Well this is the guy whose wife was dead when he got home Friday night. Everyone was on tip-toes not wanting to upset him, and I didn't know this all happened. Tuesday mid-day I asked the CSR if that job went out, she tells me this story. So I run around finding out what is being done, the customer said he needs a partial no later than the next day, which means we should ship Tuesday. Ends up, all the product was still at the guy's house! So I had someone go get it, then they farmed it out to some other company who said they'd have us that partial by Wednesday. Wednesday came, and they did NOT finish the partial order, which the customer should have already had. Meanwhile customer is just livid, and I feel horrible! So they said they'd finish the entire job by yesterday. Yesterday came and they were 1,700 short! They said they were OUT of product to assemble! So we are checking the plant, and found 700 of them. There's still 1,000 missing somewhere! Meanwhile, I gathered a team of people and we stayed here last night hand-gluing these pieces together. So much went wrong with this job, and today we're having a meeting to see who is to blame for it being lost, and no one doing anything with it for days, etc. Blach.

LOL no problem. I asked my mom about it, and she thinks I shouldn't take anything during the 1st trimester either.. so I'm burning a Yankee Candle in my office

Hey it's not arguing politics, but I agree with Terry, I am worried about taxes. It is digusting how much money I give away every year for taxes, while I know people that are completely young & healthy but just don't feel like working.. and why would they, they would have to pay rent themselves if they did. Right now I'm being their baby daddy and paying the bills?! I bust my butt and if I made all the money I actually made, I'd never have to worry about money. I'm not completely opposed to Welfare, I am all for it if 1. It is regulated 2. There is a stern time limit. No one should ever be able to live off of it, and it should be for people who just fell on a hard time, not just lazy. That will get me fired up, but it's not necessarily attacking dem vs. rep, it's just I hate the tax programs and dems seem to like them. Blah blah, so ya'll hear the new VP potential? Gov'nah from Alaska? I'm a bit shocked, my mom called this morning and said "I give up! I'm not voting! I don't care!" lol. Oh she just called as I was typing this and said "For the first time ever, I am going down to vote and writing in Mickey Mouse" rofl. I can see it now, McCain in his old age keels over, and the lady becomes president, with her 5 kids and her basketball experience. I keep editing this post, even though I am Rep., I can't say I'm impressed with my choices right now. I don't think McCain is awesome, but I'm watching the tax propositions for who I am voting for right now. All I hear out of Obama (and Hilary) was how we're all going to herniate money if we're not someone being paid on government funded programs.

I bought the "For One More Day" and some reason I couldn't get into it :tt2: Trying to think of all the other books I liked reading.. Books are always different from the movie, so like K-Pax the book was really good, completely different perspective from the movie.. I Am Legend- I REALLY loved this one, because the movie left me asking a lot of questions, that the book answers.. book gives you more background and the people that are dead were actually his friends blah blah, then it has a bunch of short stories in the back of the book that are seriously twisted.. I liked! I like Maya Angelou's books, I still haven't finished them all, but I got em for a rainy day.. she wrote all her novels as a sort of auto-biography. "I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings" is one of the better ones... and "And Still I Rise" Catcher in the Rye, one of my favorites.. and I was looking up Perks of Being A Wallflower, said he was influenced by Catcher in the Rye--I can definitely see that! Oh hah and my favorite book of all times, A Wrinkle in Time.. it's technically a kids novel, but I love that book. I read it once every couple of years. I know your library would have it!

Haydee, Tuesdays with Morrie and Five People You Meet in Heaven Both easy reads, that will make you sniffle! Both by the same author.

God works in mysterious ways! I looked up "The Shack" to get you the website, and in the process, I saw it said he's also the author of "So You Don't Want To Go To Church Anymore". Realized he's a religious writer of sorts.. then I went to Amazon to order The Curious Dog thing.. and it recommended "So You Don't Want To Go To Church Anymore". OK! So I just went to read the synopsis & reviews: That's familiar. I think I told you guys when we were in V, about how I am Christian but I won't go to church again because of the judgementalness of the people at the church I grew up in blah blah.. I don't get warm fuzzies from church, so ironic to stumble across this.

One more post for good luck teehee. One of my co-workers was talking about this book she's reading right now, she said it's been all over the tv (I never heard of it) called The Shack.. true story, she said it's really sad and about a guy who loses everything, his kid dies or something (without ruining the story because she wasn't that far into it and she was all over the place). http://theshackbook.com/ That's on my list currently behind the Water book.

They wouldn't let me half-order the bbq shrimp from TGIF's, so I got 2 skewers full. I ate 2 at the restaurant, just ate 1 more in my office, and going to see how many more I can eat before I explode.. they are so good.. mmmmm.
