Well my weirdo dream for last night.. one of my gay buddies from high school was visiting me with his friends that I didn't know. I was really tired, so I went to bed and told them to let themselves out. They were, and I saw them sneaking back in. So I went to look, they were raiding my clothes (which were in the kitchen some reason) and stealing a bunch of PINK SWEATERS. uh huh.. I don't think I own any pink sweaters! Then we got into a fight, and then instantly I was on a road trip with my family & Russell. Russell jumps out of the van at a gas station--while we're still moving, to go to the bathroom. I kept thinking, how is he going to get back up here? And we kept right along.. so I finally made my dad turn around so we could go get him (I was convinced Russell did not think that through). And there was a bridge with a lot of water.. something scary happened that made me wake up in the middle of the night (with really bad arm cramps, I slept on it wrong) freaked out.. but I don't remember what! Finally remembered to bring my yogurt for breakfast, so enjoying that right now. Hope everyone has a good Friday!! TGIF! Oh and I must be oblivious, I don't remember a green shirt boob lady..I did notice a lot of the B&A are named Laura, which I figured had to do with Cookies, they fill in the blank with whatever your name is.

I had to pay for all my surgery in 3 different cashier's checks to 3 different people. Lots of running around-frustration. Sans blue hair. So, wasn't the hair! :tt2:

Just got back from dinner with my musician buddy.. went to Applebee's and I had the shrimp & spinach salad...mmm.. it is SO good. Came home, and 'the curious incident of the dog in the night-time' came in today..woohoo. Going to start reading that tonight. I gave Water for Elephants to my granny to read (she loves reading, we also exchange books). She called me at work today all excited, she said yesterday morning she sat down with the book and coffee.. she didn't get a single thing done yesterday because she said she could not put it down. I was the same way, I took it with me to walmart lol. She said it's been a while since she had a book she couldn't stop reading.. so hopefully this one is good too and she'll like it.. but I think she got a kick out of the descriptions of the old people in the elephant book :tt2:

Hi Susan, I was pretty much crippled by time I finally got the band (one of my major factors in having the surgery). I was doing cortizone shots, but they were working less and less. I actually did not exercise to begin with due to the pain, but luckily I was able to lose weight without it. There are a few things I can think of though besides water aerobics.. Try lifting free weights, while sitting.. or the leg weights, also while sitting, making sure you use small weights to start as not to hurt the back. Many machines you can use (exercise) at gyms, or if you care to buy them yourself, that can be done sitting.. the mini-elleptical can be done from a chair. When the pain starts going away with weightloss, start walking small amounts at a time.

I guess since my paycheck goes in too, I clean the trash up that he takes out, and he doesn't wash my car or do the grocery shopping, or clean the litter box............. I am petty with things like birthday. Not saying you should be mad, but I would be. And I realize I am petty sometimes, but I grew up where the 'little things' like a card with a sentiment, or leaving a note somewhere, etc.. are important and make me feel really special. If he didn't even acknowledge my birthday I would be fit to be tied. Maybe you live & learn, I'm still young and demand attention for special occasions.

Yay Leslie! I was bouncing between 2 numbers consistently since banding, back and forth till a new low number was introduced. Past 2 weeks I actually bounce between SEVEN numbers. 212-219.. one day is 212, the next is 219, then 215, then 217, then 212 again. Fun times, fun times indeed.

I don't know who you can blame for someone not doing their own educating on a surgery before they get it. There's a certain kind of ignorance in a person who would have a weight loss surgery and simply goess off of a 1 hour seminar, a psych counseling, and whatever small meeting they have with the surgeon. Be an adult, no one should have to hold your hand and tell you how to educate yourself.

I like the wet clothes by cottonelle, but I recently discovered Platex makes them too, and they have a really nice smell.. so I swapped to that.
