Happy Thanksgiving all! May PB's not haunt any of us today :grouphug: I watched Wall-E last night, kind of a sad movie! Watched it while cooking at my mom's. Pregnancy stupid brain hit me pretty bad, I burned both my squash casseroles, the oven beeped and I was distracted and forgot to take them out for 30 more minutes.. dang. Then the chess pie I make just for Russell, I don't know what happened.. mom said I must not have followed the recipe, but I swear I did. I ended up with enough for 2 pies, even though it's a 1 pie recipe.. then it never set :grouphug: I used a new recipe, all I can think of was that it was a bad recipe I found. Oh well.. finishing cleaning our house, his family is suppose to be coming in an hour or so, then we go to my granny's. Of course the things I told Russ he needed to do last night.. vaccuum & take out trash.. NEVER HAPPENED!

WOOOHOOO Tracy!!! I just got back from lunch @ Chili's.. Tilapia & broccoli.. nom nom nom. It's funny, I love love love their food, but the service is SO BAD. Admittedly bad. I've complained to managers (who were sitting at tables hanging out) and they just moved us once. Anyway, it never fails. They forgot my soup, brought me sweet tea instead of unsweet, and Russell's order was wrong (they put blue cheese on his sandwhich and he hates blue cheese), and he was so livid (yet happy to be able to say SEE THIS PLACE SUCKS to me) that he didn't return it, he just threw his fork down and sulked while I ate. Tilapia is all worth it though. I know he hates the service, so I try not to make him go there.. but he threatens me when I can't make up my mind on where I want to go, but it's really that I know we disagree on everywhere so I'm trying to find somewhere we'd both enjoy.. so I was thinking and he goes "If you don't pick somewhere, we're..." and it probably would have ended with "going to Taco Bell" so I just said "OK.. Chilis" Neener neener.

Aww how sweet Tracy!! She looks so much like you!!!! I did Turkey day shopping with my mom tonight, have I mentioned lately how much I love Publix? No huge crowd, not even a single person in line in front of us.. aaahhh. Their selection is annoying sometimes, like these yogurt smoothies.. I thought I bought them there, I wanted to get more, and all they had were carb conscious/no sugar yogurt smoothies.. no thanks. Got an annoying email from a customer tonight at 8pm, so that's going to be my first-thing-in-the-morning fun tomorrow We bought our first CD's today, we got them from ING Direct...which is where Jane recommended! I did google for reviews (afterward) and people complained they check your credit score 2x a month indefinitely till your account is closed, which I hope isn't true..

I think it should be legal, I think any serious relationship is a loose form of prostitution. If someone wants to have sex for money/goods/etc., and someone wants to pay them to have sex, who cares?

Ya'll make it sound so good, I wish I liked CC. I have tried it every kind of way, and just can't get myself to eat it. The only way I like it, which I've yet to replicate.. my granny's lasagna uses cottage cheese instead of ricotta. I don't like lasagna, but I like pulling the noodles off and scraping the red sauce out.. and just eating the cottage cheese out of it. I know it's mixed with egg, so some sort of baked cottage cheese & egg, but it picks up the flavor from the red sauce I guess... but I don't want the red sauce

I've never done it, but I've seen it on tv and it looks fun.. but, also looks messy and I don't want to clean everytime I make a drink. The green juices really look appetizing to me some reason lol.

I think you made a good choice, only a few days post-op, while you may not be hurting anymore, your body is still healing and you'll be tired & weak.

My BMI was 29 at the lowest so far before I got pregnant, and I still had a big flabby belly that interfered with sex..

Hah hah, yes they're all my age. The 1 who isn't pregnant or nursing, was pregnant last year & lost it at 6 months (was so sad, something that haunts me in my pregnancy) and is still trying, so 4/4 of us are at the least trying to have kids! We are in Alabama though where getting married & having kids starts young, we're actually behind, most of our other friends have 3-5 y/o kids already! Pam, I think airline stuff is RIDICULOUS. My mom was telling me the other day about some trip she's going on, she'll just change the tickets if she needs to. I said I have never done that just because of the cost, she said she didn't think it cost that much--but some reason I had it in my head like you just said, they charge you for like 5 seats to change them.. makes me think the best idea would just be to book another ticket and don't check in for the first ones heh! Tracy- I am doing Christmas paintings, on canvas.. no cards. Every once in a while I get the urge to paint, so I started the base last night.. silver & blue and then red & gold. Not sure what I'm going to put on them yet.

Aw ya'll are sweet. The one in both pics with me is being spastic.. she kept trying to contort herself to hide her double chins.. so she ended up looking goofy. She's so beautiful, and it's weird to notice the things bigger people do that I use to do.. and even more interesting is I never had overweight friends before, but several old friends gained a lot of weight after high school. So it's like now they're living my old life of doing things like looking goofy trying to hide a double chin LOL! Judy that is SO pretty, especially with snow. Even my crappy set up last year would have looked ok if I had some snow I'm not uncomfortable at all heh, and I do have a baby bump now, but I have to hold up my pannis to see it, so obviously no one else sees it. I just look like my belly is getting fat again. JOYOUS. The Shack, a friend of mine insisted I read it too, so I bought it (she thought it was a true story--which it isn't).. told my granny as well, who bought it. We both read it, at some point you meet Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit and their depiction of them turned me off, so I put the book down. My granny on ther other hand really enjoyed the depiction and what it stood for, and told me I had to read the last chapter if I wasn't going to finish it. So I read the last 2 chapters. Was a good book for the 6 or 7 chapters I read, but the middle wasn't my cup of tea. A movie worth watching.. Life Before Her Eyes.. It's got Rachel Evan Wood & Uma Thurman.. it's about a school shooting, but it's one of those movies with a slap-in-the-face ending where you have to watch the movie all over again.. I watched it twice and now I'm going to buy the book to get more info. Luckily I made my mom & dad watch it, so I had someone to talk about it with.. like what the ending meant, and I'm a blonde I guess cause I didn't put it together. It's a great movie, one of the best I've seen in a while. Cry-worthy too if you feel like crying. OH and I got my flying monkey ROFL. Cassy was dancing on her back legs (a VERY rare thing to see) trying to figure out what was screeching in my hands. Russell figured out the slingshot thing, I didn't even see that.. he flings it across the room and Cassy went running and tried to kill it with all the screeching!

I was surprised about the fat content in the tilapia dinner, but then I realized it says 'dinner', not just the tilapia. I am not sure what they serve with the tilapia, but I'm guessing if you forgo the rest of the dinner surely they can't fatten tilapia up that much.. tilapia isn't a high fat fish. I have a feeling it has to do with how they are cooking it. Again, not sure what the actual sides are but say it's suppose to be something grilled/baked.. and out of laziness they fry it in oil or butter with everything else they are frying..would certainly up the fat content.

My friend took pics Friday night at our get together. That's sparkling grape or something (I didn't have any) so we looked all sophisticated. 2x of us are pregnant 1x still breastfeeding, so no real alcohol among us.. hah hah.

hah hah, yes believe me.. I would not know I was pregnant if I didn't get the heart doppler. I listen to the heart every other night just to make sure it's still there :thumbup: Nope, I don't feel anything yet.. I keep getting things that make me wonder, but it's so light and fleeting that I don't know. I guess it's what people say 1st time moms don't recognize, or I'm just gassy or something. I felt pressure on my bladder on Friday, I had to pee constantly just from pushing on it.. so I imagine the baby was laying on my bladder that day, and has since moved. They say it can take up to 20 weeks to feel it for first time moms.

My paperwork said no NSAIDS due to it possibly being linked to erosion. However, I have taken Advil in cases where I needed anti-inflammatory (which tylenol doesn't do), I just wouldn't take it on a regular basis, which I once did pre-band due to the back pains I had. However, I have had one instance where I took Advil before bed and it sat in my pouch and I woke up choking on the acid caused by Advil.. it definitely is an irritant on the stomach, so if you take something like this make sure you drink a lot of water to flush it through.

I believe you'll be able to find a lot of helpful information on this forum throughout your journey, including insurance nerves.. or even if you face denial, many people have information on appeals, etc. I was self-pay, so I can't help you there.. but you're real lucky your insurance even considers it! :thumbup:) Just from your BMI, I believe BCBS would approve you, so you may be worried for nothing on that front.

I picked the 'surprise gift' years ago, and it was a normal bullet lol. I tried a clit sucker years ago, it was nice but was really hard to clean well, so I ended up throwing it away. Not only did it have a lot of crevices and hidden spots hard to clean, but it was made out of that jelly substance that attracts lint like no tomorrow.. I don't get toys made out of that stuff anymore.

Hello, I don't know any in the area... But have you tried asking your original doc if they can recommend someone in the area? Or, find a local lap band support group (local hospitals should be able to help you find out) and then ask people at the group who they use, to get a feel for docs in the area..

I sold stuff on ebay occasionally, but once craigslist took off, I never used ebay anymore. Have you looked at your local craiglist.org? You can sell everything you've mentioned there, and NO listing fees, and you can have up to 4 pictures (or more if you know how to use photobucket), and you don't have to do shipping (which is a headache and cuts into the cost you can charge for an item). I sell everything Cash Only & Pick Up Only. I was cleaning the house this week and sold a few things on there, normally things go in a day or two. The only drawback compared to ebay, is you can't do auction style. You just have to set a price.

Hello, sorry you're having to go through this. Is another surgery an option? If I had to have my band removed, I know I am still a fat girl in my head and I could not control myself.. I would end up opting for another surgery.

Howdy, I may not have the exact answer.. I was looking at your blog to see what you were talking about, and could not find it. Sometimes people post inappropriate comments on people's blogs (advertising, etc.) and they are moderated, meaning a moderator removes them. That's all this means, not that someone is moderating your every move on your blog :thumbup:
