Woohoo that was so cool!!! I slept in late, and when I woke up I still laid in bed watching tv.. and I felt what could be kicking, or a muscle spasm.. so I put my hand there and I felt a distinct kick, not a muscle spasm.. and so I pushed back a couple times, and then he kicked me 3 times!! I almost squealed, so I called my mom and told her and then texted ya'll. In my groggy haze this morning the dog was whining to go out, so I let her out and left her there an hour (she is indoor dog, so she gets pissy about being outside, but I was too tired).. Day went on and neighbor came to the door and asked "Do you have a brown boxer?" (Same neighbor that I had to ask him to stop letting his dogs crap in my yard).. so I moved and showed him Cassy who was sitting behind me. He said "Oh.. there's a brown boxer in my fence, I can't figure out how it got there and it can't get out". How weird?? I've not seen any other boxers in the neighborhood and I can't imagine how it got in his fence, we have the wood privacy fences and I don't see any gaps in them. My heart raced for a second, I was like crap what did she do in ONE HOUR?! Whew. The party last night went great, everyone was about 40 minutes late to a surprise b'day!! I was like where is everyone, I asked for a head count ahead of time and 24 people said they were coming and not a soul was there.. luckily my friend was an hour late, it ended up being a bad wreck on the interstate so everyone was stuck in traffic. Everyone ended up getting there before she did, which was a relief. Everybody got SMASHED. So fun to be the sober folks amidst a big group of drunk people! Our mutual friends kept hugging me and saying how much they loved me and I just laughed, and someone said "Aww it sucks you can't be drunk" so I immitated them and stumbled around the room hugging everyone and babbling about loving everybody lol. Russ didn't drink either, so I at least had company. 2 of the husbands were the angry drunks, they are good friends but at some point they kept slapping each other and wrestling and yelling.. and I'm trying to make sure they don't break anything in the nice house. Around midnight I was so exhausted and I felt like I was going to get sick if I didn't go to bed.. party pooper I am. I hid everyone's keys and we came home. Went well though, I'm pleased with my first (and last) party! Tonight is nutcracker, one of our coworkers is the lead male dancer. Same coworker who found out his wife is pregnant and they had no idea. I don't like nutcracker, I got roped into this somehow.. going to be a loooong night.

I thought I told ya'll my plan for the nursery? Well I just ran to Babies R Us to see if they had any left over of the discontinued line I want (nope DANG) but I shopped their clearance, got some cute outfits for 0-3 months.. my mom laughed and said "not quite the pink frills we were looking at" because I got this cute khaki overalls with bugs on it LOL and it says "Bug Buddies". It was 2 bucks and oddly enough it IS cute hah. Anyway, I am buying all the nursery stuff and keeping it in the nursery closet (which is the size of a small room, I've already been storing baby stuff in there--diapers, wipes, etc.) we will get the furniture in early which is generic.. and a month before I am due I will set up the nursery and keep the door shut. He is pretty strong willed, since he doesn't want to know--he won't peek. The walls are a cream color, not going to paint the room.. but going to put the border that comes with the set (I found on Ebay) on the walls, and if I can ever find the wall hangings for the set I will get those too..otherwise I will try to find another Noah's Ark wall hanging that matches.

After that, as I go to find the coordinates like Mobile, wall hanging, etc.. it's a discontinued line! ARGH! I was able to find wall border & extra sheet on ebay, but I can't find the rug or mobile and some other small stuff. What a pain in the butt.. Now I gotta try to find another noah's ark that matches..

Russ stays up all night sometimes, and I get up all throughout the night and notice it.. well tonight I get up and he's not here.. not here.. at some point I got annoyed he turned the tv off (around 6am) so I turn it on and he left a post-it on the tv. He went to work early.. well roads are iced over, all the schools are closed.. so I call his cell & work and he doesn't answer. MEN. So I am panicky, and decide I'm going to have to go to work early to make sure he's ok.. and luckily he was on his MSN messenger.. Can't believe he did this, tonight is the party I'm throwing for my friend and he's going. He's going to be a zombie. Yesterday at lunch we talked more about adopting. We had always said we want 1 natural, and we'd adopt 2nd. So we talked about it yesterday and still want to do it, but I looked online to get info, it costs 20-30k. Wow? That could be a deal breaker, can't ask my parents for a loan for a child, and can't imagine being able to afford that, especially while raising 2 kids!!!! Oh, it's on my mind because I had a dream about it.

Boy :wink2: And he has all his body parts! And he was wiggling and kicking the whole time. So the lack of feeling anything isn't from him not trying!

Working on uploading the ultrasound videos to youtube. It's 14 minutes total in 5 videos, so I'll link you guys when they finish uploading if you want to scroll through them. I am taking screen shots of good pieces (I wasn't real impressed with it since the tech wouldn't stop and let me look at it!!) but so far I did find a good pic of the baby, can see his face and everything, and his body is curled up, can see both arms and legs.. weee. I'll post them tonight depending on how long youtube takes, otherwise I'll get to it tomorrow..

Yup I'm having kids just so they can do my dishes & mow the lawn :wink: Some schools around here closed early, we have a lot of flooding rain and it was suppose to get cold.. I didn't think to look at the thermostat in Russ' car.. it was 40 this morning, but it's gotten a LOT colder since then. Careful waiting Jenn, an attack can turn bad.. I was looking at nursery room stuff, can't decide.. just don't go "OH I LOVE THAT" with the boy's stuff like I did with the girl's stuff.

Yeah maybe it is a boy :wink: I just had my 20 (technically 21) week ultrasound, and it's a boy.. and everything is normal and healthy, so my lack of morning sickness didn't mean anything about his health.

LOL I see him clearly but I didn't know if it's just because I watched him moving in those pictures.. And get this MY mom's name is.. BELynda.

Hey guys, just popping in real quick cause I need to catch up at work. PRAYERS FOR YOUR MOM TRACY!! Keep us updated. Baby was breech, so she had a horrible time trying to get to his genitals.. and she is a chatty woman, so she's talking 90 to nothing while Russ & I just watch (and try to figure out what she's pointing out).. she never let us just look at the baby 'being'. He is SO active, constantly kicking and stretching and moving arms up, legs out, etc. But she was always moving the ultrasound so I couldn't just watch for a moment, was very irritating. She finally toward the end was able to see the genitals, so she told Russ to close his eyes, and she types "Boy" on it.. so I was like aww.. then when we were leaving Russell said "She said "it's a boy" when my eyes were closed". I didn't catch it, although I was staring intently at the screen waiting for her to type the sex.. but apparently she talks & types and he heard it. I've been confusing him (or trying, but I think it's working) that he misunderstood, and that she put boy & girl and maybe she was confusing herself (she actually did do boy & girl and confused ME at first). Anyway, I think I confused him enough that he's not certain it's a boy. Carson it is! He says Natalie is what he's sticking with for girl, so I guess it's good that it's a boy because I wasn't dead set on any girl names :wink: Going to catch up on work and then go order nursery set.. I was 100% sure which girl set I want, now I gotta think about the boy set.. I liked 2 different star sets, as well as a noah's ark.. She showed us both feet, both legs, both hands, both arms.. everything she pointed out was 'normal', so I am a lot less nervous than I have been. She only gave me crappy pictures, there was such a cute video part of him kicking, you watched both feet just a going.. and she took a pic of it when only 1 foot was showing and gave it to me.. and then gave me this picture-- Head on this side, the top tip is the nose <--->body

I heard Chili's got in trouble for this sometime in the past year, but they were miscaculating calories. chicken and portobello sandwich was supposed to have six-grams of fat, but tested three times that with 18.6 grams!

Happy pills have a lot less calories than Margaritas!!

Today is passing sooooo slow. My appt. is at 10am tomorrow, so I'm waking up and going straight over. I can't wait, argh!! Like waking up for Christmas, I bet I will have a hard time sleeping tonight.

Not sure where you heard this, I never had morning sickness and was also worried.. my doc said it happens, and when I looked up online, many forums say it's just the luck of the draw and has absolutely no indication as to the health of the pregnancy. So yeah.. I never had morning sickness, I am 21 weeks and nothing wrong so far.

I didn't have this early on, but twice the week of Thanksgiving this year (I am almost 2 years out from surgery) I had a horrible pain in my left shoulder after eating, felt like my arm was dislocated. I googled some info, it seems your diaphragm nerves are actually located in your shoulder! For me it went away after about an hour or so.

Valium is definitely a happy pill :tt1: Only one I ever had was a month of Wellbutrin years ago to stop smoking.. didn't help me stop smoking but I was so happy that month, NOTHING bothered me.. I loved it.

I love the color Jenn! I am the same way Haydee, well kind of, I am too afraid to ask for happy pills. My GP is great and I think he'd give them to me no problem, but I can't bring myself to ask. Mom told me this morning, my dad (who comes back from Vegas today) the day before his trip to Vegas he went to a clinic to get antibiotics for a tooth ache he had.. and while there, they said he had a lump in his lymphnode and needed to go see his GP.. he went out of town but since he comes back today I am going to nag him till he goes to the doctor.

Had an ORGANIC (I get a kick out of this, I don't ever eat organic knowingly but this stuff is so good and I notice it says Organic all over the label) yogurt smoothie for b'fast, and drinking my water. Listening to Sarah McLachlan, burned some of her CD's at home last night to bring to work..forgot how much I like her. So much for 3 days of rain, it's cast-over but sometime in the middle of the night the rain stopped and it's 60 degrees again.

Claire was his idea, Carson was my idea that he liked and Carson is set in stone. Claire is one I started out 'eh' about, but it's growing. I think I still like Rebecca anymore. But like Terry pointed out, it's a BOY so who cares about the girl name? I can't wait till Thursday to confirm it.. I have 2 nursery sets on registry so as soon as I find out I am ordering the correct one (Ya know, just in case my genderometer is off). We put together our tables today, I love love love them. The coffee table, the last 4 screws our power drill died and I think in my nesting I threw out the charger (I didn't tell him, just playing dumb that I don't know where it went).. went to my mom's to borrow theirs, about to go finish that.. It's raining CRAZY out there.. it said we were suppose to get 3 solid days of rain starting at noon today. Luckily it didn't start till we were about 10 minutes from home, then it started pouring.. huge rain, hard to see.. going down the road to my parent's house was a big ordeal, had to go 30 down the interstate from all the flooding.. and lightening that lights up the whole sky.. good time to stay home. So where's my permission to stay home tomorrow?! Oh and definitely use those Zicam swipes, I really swear by them. Russell thought he was getting a cold 2 days ago so I made him swipe.. and he never got sick.. Happens everytime I think I'm getting sick.. although can't use them during pregnancy and when he said he thought he was getting sick I wished I could do one to be safe.. so far no sick though.. just my pregnancy-rhitis. Sniff sniff, sneeze.

I am the opposite.. I think I'm having a boy, and a boy name was picked out and agreed on relatively easy.. girl names have been hard for us.

You know what I meant :thumbup: And as for your Christmas mugs, wish you'd said something, I could have put the graphics together for your on Cafepress and I believe coffee mugs are $10 each. And I know Cafepress charges more than they should, so $75 for 3 mugs is ridiculous.. The only g'father he ever knew (but died when he was a kid) was named Elwood, so Carson Elwood was thrown out there. I really am not much of a stickler for middle names, it's not like anyone uses them. Marie for a girl just because it's the family middle name we pass on in my family.. for a boy, he can do whatever middle name he wants as long as I can yell it easily when the kid gets in trouble
