Wow yea, you don't want to detour to Detroit!! That's going out of the way to come back. I'm surprised we have direct flights to Detroit actually. Most of the time if we fly out of here, you have to fly to Chicago, Houston, Atlanta, or Nashville and connect to a 'big' flight to get anywhere.

Cassy gets weekly baths, but she's a perv.. she likes to 'clean herself' a lot.. too much.. I always tell Russ it's beyond cleaning. It really annoys me, so when she curls up to sleep she lays there with her head between her legs, licking (and making a wet spot on whatever she's laying on). Make me sick if that was on the bed. She has a bed on the floor next to Russell's side of the bed. She is an indoor dog, but despite cleaning her, after a day or two she starts to smell like dog. I've always hated the smell of dog.. so.. I have been having to make low-carb crap since Russ is on Atkins.. I made a casserole last night that was pretty good, thought I'd pass it on.. Brown 1lb of hamburger meat with 1 small diced onion, 2 stalks of diced celery, and some mushrooms (I didn't use mushrooms). Then mix it with 1/4c mayo, 8oz shredded cheddar, 2 cans of french-cut green Beans, garlic salt, salt & pepper in a dish. Bake 350 for 40m. I topped it with crumbled bacon. Then I put those fried onions on top of mine, Russ put sour cream on top of his.

401k is pissing me off to no end. I lost over 40% last year, down 20% for this year so far.. my only solace is that I am getting cheap stock, that HAS to go up one day.. But a couple weeks ago I got a notice from employer that I failed an ADP test, I contributed too much (which is silly, since I only contribute 10% of up to 15% I can contribute). In any event, it said I over contribued $670 last year.. so they are cutting me a check and I have to claim it on 2008 income. Been waiting for that, so I call them today to find out when they're sending it.. they said it will be on 2009 income so no tax form is coming.. but that the amount they show is $430. It ends up, they get to keep any gains or losses from the 'invested money' that they won't let me invest. I am so pissed. It's not a huge amount of money, but damn.. I didn't get to keep any stocks for that, so I don't get to try to make that money back.. I'm just out the money. Argh.

My cats sleep in the bed, and try to sleep on my pillow or between our heads, but I push them to the foot of the bed when I wake up from it. When we had a queen, there was no room at the top, so they had to sleep at the bottom. Russell would let our dog sleep in bed with us (and he does when I'm not there), so once in a blue moon she gets brave, jumps up and pauses and waits to see if I'm going to freak out on her--and I do. I hate having dogs on the bed, nasty nasty.

I'll have to give them a shot Haydee! That's how our bed is Tracy, I have 2 body pillows between us.. then I have 6 of my own pillows, he has 3.. he uses (my fav) heavy comforter, and I have a quilt and a down comforter..I am always cold, he is always hot. We're like on totally different planets when we're in bed. Head is so congested.. anyone watch Nip/Tuck? Wonder if this is suppose to be the last season w/Christian dying and all.. Woohoo Pam, I'll live vicariously through your surgery. I want to do a tummy tuck "one day".

That's funny you did that, I wish we'd never made the leap to king size bed. I can't figure out how to move backward from here, but I hate having so much room.. we use to touch when we slept, now we're a million miles apart and when I even make an attempt to be close, it's not comfortable since we don't sleep in the middle. I haven't tried Kashi's frozen dinners, are they really good?? I don't like their cereal (I eat it on days my nose is clogged up bad).. tastes like cardboard. I have a Kashi frozen pizza in my freezer, I wanted to try it, but anytime I think about it.. I think of the nasty cereal.

Well for my 44lb gain, I have only gone up 1 size.. I can still fit into my size 12 pants, but it's not comfortable..I wear my size 14 normal pants (way low) or size 12/14 maternity pants. Although none of my non-maternity shirts fit at all, they look like halter tops trying to put them over my belly.

Because google has a smartsearch, it's watching us and picks up on popular words, etc.. trying to be relevant to the conversation :tongue2:

I had always planned to do something cute, but when I actually saw it (and was not planning for pregnancy yet) I was so scared and shaken, all the cute stuff went out the window. I took the test at work (it hit me during lunch time that I was late and my band was really tight) so I ran to the drug store. Anyway, I saw it was positive, began shaking and panicking.. told my friend first, so she could calm me down.. then I showed it to my mom who teared-up and screamed (in happiness). I couldn't wait till I got home to tell my husband, and I couldn't find words.. so I texted him. Yes, all the cute ideas I had of 'baby food' etc.. I just texted him. Oh well :tongue2:

Went to the doc this morn, on 2 week schedule now.. she FINALLY (it's been 3-4 months now!!!!) said I need to go to an Allergist. She's been blowing me off for months, and every month I just go 'Same thing, no change'.. and she doesn't really care.. I guess because today my face is all chapped and she can see my nose flaking off in pieces maybe I should be referred to someone. Anyway, at this point I figured it'll just go away when I have Carson.. she isn't so sure (dang). She did a renal panel last week since I have a pelvic kidney, she showed me everything was functioning fine (yay), the only thing is my Calcium is .1 lower than 'average', but she said it's not a concern, so.. He's getting bigger, and I lost weight in the past 2 weeks (first time since finding out I was pregnant!!!!!!!!). Coming in on the home stretch, gaaah I can't wait to hold him :tongue2:

Congratulations!!!! I didn't really exercise pre-pregnancy, but now at almost 31 weeks, I've been doing wii-fit for over a month now. I am just careful.. it wasn't until the past week or so that I feel 'strain' or pulling, heaviness, etc. from my belly when I'm trying to do things like hula-hoop. But, I didn't run, I know that would have hurt. You can kind of tell as you go along what is going to be ok, based on how it affects your body. Your obgyn should give you a list of info on this though on your first visit, so just take it easy till next week and they make sure you're not high risk or anything special. ..another one drinks the LBT water!

I remember being shocked by the first article, then reading the follow up yesterday about all the other potential kid daddies. Could you imagine being the girl's parents? All these little boys are coming forward saying "Gee golly, I put my thingie in her thingie, maybe I'm the daddy!!" :tongue2:

ACTUALLY.. I read an article yesterday (I hate myself for paying attention to it anymore), she has not had sex in over 8 years (or 14 kids, however you look at it). She thinks it would be selfish of her to date. Yeah, THAT'S what is selfish.
