Well the donut was my bad me for breakfast, but I had half a salad for lunch and lots of water so far. I've been in the habit of drinking Dr. Pepper the past month (never liked it before!!!), so I am getting back on track and no more sodas (again). Haven't had one in a week, yay. I was debating going to get a fill before Carson comes along, I really hate the idea of having to go down there after he's born.. with him as a newborn, or leaving him with someone :/ But then I thought, I'd hate even more to have a problem during delivery or something if I get sick blah blah..so just going to wait. I definitely need a fill though.

Never PB'd on a donut, mmmm sweet sweet donut. I did control myself to an extent, I REALLY wanted to grab a chocolate glazed & normal glazed. But I talked myself into only getting 1 Any of you heard of chest pain during pregnancy? I'm trying to google info (people mention heartburn--this is NOT heartburn, although I have plenty of that too), 2nd time it's happened this week--both times were caused by sleeping on my left side. First time the other night I thought it had to do with my port (which is in my chest) and I thought I squished/pulled it or something. Sitting up and stretching made it better. About 2 hours before I woke today, I rolled onto my left side, so when I woke up this morning I had horrible tightness and pain in the center of my chest, I sat up and stretched and it didn't go away. I rubbed my port, no help.. when I raised my arms I realized the pain shot to my back. Was very uncomfortable and took about 10 minutes to go away. Pair that with the fact that even tho I was feeling slightly better after PT yesterday, by last night I was WORSE.. now my right hip hurts like my left hip does. Takes me 10 minutes to hobble down the hallway at work right now.

How funny, I had a donut for breakfast too!! I brought a handful of red grapes, but when I got to the coffee pot to get hot water for my tea--there was a box of donuts.

I can't wait!! And that means by time our trip is here, I'll have Carson to snuggle with.. double can't wait!!

Preggy progress/Updates/Tell us how you're doing!

I can say, Carson kicks quite a bit, yesterday he was active ALL DAY (which worried me a little--he needs to sleep!!) but, I've yet to get tired of the kicking. I first felt movement at 23 weeks I believe, and I'm 33 weeks tomorrow. So 10 weeks and I still enjoy it. It's fun to see what he reacts to (movies, someone talking, some way I move, etc.). I can drown it out for the most part too, the only time it 'annoys' me--although I don't think that's the word I'd use, is when he is kicking under my boob and it feels like my rib cage is having muscle spasms.. I just rub it and he kicks back, so it makes it fun again to feel him kicking my hand. -
Hah hah, congrats! "What To Expect When You're Expecting" and the Pregnancy Bible have been a big help to me, I read (and still reference) both of them cover to cover. One of the nurses told me WTEWYE has a book for the first year also "What To Expect In The First Year", I am ordering that one soon too. As for the future, well.. all we've done is started a savings account for private school tuition. We figured up how much we need to save between now & kindergarten to have money to pay for the tuition up to 2nd grade. Couldn't tell you much else lol. I got a slight unfill only due to tightness, now I wish I'd stuck through it, I've gained too much weight. Here's some websites I like to look at... http://www.baby-gaga.com/ http://www.babycenter.com/ http://www.whattoexpect.com/what-to-expect/landing-page.aspx (I like this one a lot but the pages load SO slow)

Terry... according to the website you sent, the house is 35 minutes from my house??? And I'm 2 minutes from the airport.. Goin back to double check. Little less than an hour using mapquest from my house to the cabin. The ad for the cabin says... (30 to 40 min. easy four lane drive to Huntsville).

Heather, LBT is changing servers right now, it's suppose to be fixed definitely by tomorrow. I saw some Discovery show or something years ago and they said they think babies release a hormone to signal they are ready to come out.. but then everything I've read/heard since then is that they 'don't know'.

Holy moley Judy, he DOES look like a 6 month old baby already lol. No wonder Kris looked so pregnant He is adorable, ok my turn!!!!!! Me & my siblings were all 21 inches long, and we're all tall.. My bro was 10lber and he is a big guy now, but I was only 7lb and I ended up being the 'biggest' thickness wise when we grew up. Having a hot chocolate with 'pick me up' in it (caffeine I imagine). I see the PT today.. yay.
-
Woohoo!! I think she said 6oz too (10lb 6oz), I was at dinner. I was going to post from my phone but some reason mobile LBT is having issues so I was texting & calling to let everyone know lol. I like the name Grady, but wow what a big boy. And another case of Pitocin ending in a C-section!!! See?!
-
My actual Due date is April 23.
-
Terry, I'm not opposed to Pitocin--odds are I'll have to use it too from the abundance of people being induced these days.. and that may be naive of me, my mom was induced with my brother and she said it made labor much more painful and then didn't work (2 of hers were natural though, no epidural). But anyway, I'm not scared to do Pitocin or whatever, I'm just not impressed with the track record. LJM & my RL friend who had her baby when we were in Gruene.. both had Pitocin and both ended up with a C-section after all their efforts! Carson is very movey today.. keeps shifting around.

Judy- I put my .2 worth on Pitocin in an email back to you guys (I've never heard a story where it worked). Just got back from obgyn.. wah.. I gained 8lbs in 2 weeks?! WTF?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?! She thinks I was weighed wrong last time, and that's why it's such a big leap.. but I weigh myself at home too, it's no big leap, 2 weeks ago my weight was correct But I haven't been bad enough to gain 8lbs in 2 weeks!!! She measured Carson and said he's 35cm, and she said that makes him a big baby because he's 2 weeks ahead of schedule on size... dang. I did ask her about what the nurse told me about 90% babies at our hospital being induced at 38 weeks. She said the lady was wrong, that she doesn't know the % but it's at 39 weeks.. 38 weeks is too early and they'd be getting in trouble if that was the case. She said she leaves it up to me if I want to be induced for convenience: knowing when it's going to happen, letting people come into town, knowing my doc will be there, etc. She also gave me the referral for the physical therapist tomorrow. I hope he can help me.

It's even more sad that she turned it down because the 15 minutes of fame won't last long. When the next big story comes along, she's going to be chopped liver.. with no new offers.. and no limelight. So then she's going to be left leeching off tax payers, and wishing she had taken the offer.

I am getting quite a bit back from Federal (I think I pay too much into it--that's what everyone keeps saying anyway), but state is giving nothing back. Which surprises me, I pay them a crap load too, but apparently state is taking all they can right now. Next year I get a baby deduction!! I hear that has its perks. I have an obgyn appt. sometime in the next hour. I forgot my planner and I don't know what time it is.. 10:15, 10:30 or 10:45.. and they don't answer the phones at their office. Going to ask her about the 2-week early induction the birthing class teacher was talking about. I am surprised if my doc DOES do that--that she didn't tell me. I mean, 2 weeks is a big time difference for a pregnant woman!!

Awww, so what happened, the contractions just making the baby's heart rate going down? You'll have to text us whether it be tonight, tomorrow, or Wed morning!!
-
Oooo yeah thanks for letting me know, I'll have to add that to TiVo. I was curious what the latest update was on her.

Well, I'm along for the ride on this one.. But if you want to down-size from the house and get hotels in Huntsville (although, Madison is better!!).. my parents have a BIG pool with 3x waterfalls and a slide.. AND a hot tub...and it's all on a lake (although you can't swim in this lake). If you want that as an option, it's there.. my parents don't mind me ever bringing people over. Ok here's pics from the shower.. And now I see where the 50lb weight gain is.. egads. Me & NaeNae-- she's the one who threw the party (and went ALL OUT). The flags behind us spell Carson in nautical flag alphabet. The cake Me & the cake.. boy I love cake. She told me to take it home, and I didn't.. I would have eaten the whole 1/2 that was left to myself. Me & my friends. Me & my granny...... She always says something that brings us to tears from laughter. Me & my cousin. She just found out she is pregnant last week (6 weeks along).. so she put a balloon under there. She really will look like that since she's a true skinny minny!! Openin presents.. Smellin POO.. (Russell's mom was).

Pregnant and Banded...come join me!
Daisalana replied to raynie's topic in Pregnancy with Weight Loss Surgery
Today is the first day in my entire pregnancy I didn't feel like I was starving.. Something must be wrong!!!! -
Morning V's! Baby dreams are abundant then, I have had dreams all week about Carson's birth. Friday night I dreamed I just pulled him out (foot first) with no pain. I didn't even go to the hospital. Shower was fun last night, I wish I didn't have the hip pain, I didn't sit down because I knew if I did, I couldn't get up without a lot of pain and people segregated throughout the house so I wanted to visit all over. Got a lot of cute toys, clothes, and necessities for bath. YUMMY CAKE. Theme was nautical, so it was a sailboat cake.. mmm. I'll post pics tomorrow, my card reader is at work. My hip is so bad this morn, so I tried doing exercises the PT taught me when I had the back problems early on.. took a hot bath, and some tylenol. I hope I don't have to deal with this for the next 2 months.. OH and we got the first snow of the season LOL. It was 60's yesterday, by the end of my shower it was in the 30's and this morning we have 2" of snow. It's sticking to things & ground but the cement is too warm. Haven't seen snow in years, and on March 1 of all days. Going to make low-carb chili..Sunday is our chili day but I haven't made it since he's been on Atkins..

Hah hah, I'm sure the directions are right, I just can't 'picture' where it is--I've been to that lake my whole life and don't remember nice houses (we always stayed in cabins). Judy I really like Grady too!! It was kind of on my list, but it's my deceased g'dad's middle name.. and he was abusive and sort of distant from my family (my mom hated him, etc.).. But I did like the name!!
-
I LOVE S&S!!! I haven't been in forever because the local one has horrid service. Their chili 3-way is fantastic (chili, onions, cheese). Burgers are good too if you can eat them hehe.

My hip pain when walking feels like I dislocated my hip.. in bed it's just a dull achey and makes me want to roll. Like sleeping on it for 2 hours last night without moving myself, it hurt and I needed to change positions.. but then I couldn't. I have 6 pillows + maternity pillow.. I tried propping my belly up on a pillow last night, it just pulled more muscles. I haven't figured out how to master that (everything I read says what you did, to prop pillows for belly). I miss clothes fitting and being able to walk without waddling, and sleeping on my belly.. I could go on and on lol. I'd love to just be able to take Advil right now, but no We're going to Logan's for lunch. I had their salmon last time I went and it was good--although I don't remember how they cook it, I just remember liking it. Can't wait till June, that house you found is so beautiful I still can't figure out where it is!! I vote for Madison too, that's one of the top 3 girl names for me.

I need some lortabs physie Pam!! My hip is getting worse, last night I was sleeping on it, and I was achey so I went to roll over.. and I got the round ligament pain on either side, no matter what way I tried to move. I was panicking (that pain is NO JOKE). I've felt it before from sitting on the floor and laying down made it better, I don't know how to get rid of the pain if laying down caused it, so when I felt it coming on I just had to stop moving. I finally inched myself long-ways down the bed to stand up quickly-whew. I walked around for a minute. There's startin to not be enough room in my belly for him!! Starting to count the days just to be comfortable again. Tomorrow is baby shower, fun! TGIF ya'lls!!
