oh shut up

Ok just did some investigating. Everyone who talked about that salad (googling) was from years ago, talked about the walnuts, parmesian crisps, and feta adding calories. None of that was on my salad. It was scallops, roasted garlic, bacon, lemon juice, and very little oil. So then I found this-- Thank goodness, I still couldn't wrap my head around how on earth it was 1k calories!!

Going to bookmark that website Michelle. I was trying to get suggestions via Myplate on something better to eat, but I was avoiding pasta.. ya know me, picky eater, I don't eat pasta. I ended up getting the spinach scallops, dressing on the side.. and I really only ate the scallops and some of the roasted garlic pieces. Who knew they had such good scallops!! I'm in love now. Maybe they are rolled in sugar and deep fried.

This pregnancy has made me much more hormonal than with C, I'm getting really short-fused with people. And the urge to smack the crap out of people is STRONG. Going to lunch with a friend today, she suggested Macaroni Grill. I don't like italian, and I've only been there once--about 10 years ago, thought it was so bad we got McDonald's on the way home! So looking at the menu online to see what I may want that isn't a ridiculous amount of calories. That looks good right? Scallops & Spinach yum! 1270 calories! WHAT THE HELL DO THEY DO TO IT?!

I always check my bag, so... ((Pam)) Paula (another lady from LBT, who lives in my town), her mom died today 14 years ago today. Saw both of you post something about your moms on FB today.

Do tell, what makes the meatloaf German!? In fact, give me the recipe, I already like it, since it's "German". Got a lot of weird crap going on, one of my best friends (Carson's god mommy <- unofficial), blew up at me the other day for the equivelant of me asking her how her day was. And we see each other at work every day and now we're not talking. I have no clue what just happened here, but I don't DO DRAMA.. and this must--HAD---to have stemmed from her being mad at me about something else, lord knows what.. I can't believe she really just wanted to blow up at me for asking her how her morning was. And she's one of those folks who gets mad about people not apologizing, so I'm surprised it's been 2 days and she still hasn't apologized for goin psychotic on me. She's always in IM's too, so we talk throughout the day.. she hasn't logged into IM's since that morning either. Carson has his ears suctioned this morning. I was a little worried, since we all had to restrain him together, but the doc said it wouldn't hurt, it's just loud and scary. Carson's cries were panic/scare, and not pain so it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. He's been draining thick (stinky) goop since Monday, he's been on antibiotic drops but they decided to suction it out so the drops could get in there better. He suctioned, put in drops, then a cotton ball.. by time we got to daycare the cotton ball was stuck in his ear from the goop draining out again. I swear he's permanently sick :thumbup:

LOL Michelle when I read what you said about hanging up clothes I spit out my coffee (and messed up my necklace, thanks!!) I did that, washed and hung up each and every outfit, coordinated by months, etc... Then he came along and I put them in his drawers. For months now, it doesn't even go to his room. I store stuff in his drawers now. If it makes it out of the laundry basket before he uses it, I cleaned out some drawers in my dresser for him, since that's where we get ready in the mornings! Went to doc this morning, nothing exciting, heart beat is at 150 now. 4 weeks till I find out the sex! I told her how Russ wants a girl so bad, she laughed and said it's normally the other way around. I got the over the top of the nose look when she saw how much weight I gained. I was sad, but I did point out that I am super puffy.. none of my shoes fit, the top of my stomach is bloated, I didn't retain water with C, but I think I am now!! So I blame that. Then she looked at my old chart and said that's about how much I gained between the 2nd and 3rd visit with C. Sad. But I still think this one is a lot of water. Yesterday was horrible. C HAAAATES car rides, so he screamed the entire 2 hour trip there. Then we get there and his gma (the one who asked us to meet her there!) is out 'running errands'.. for HOURS. I'm like seriously what the hell, we're not going to be there all day. So at some point we're hungry so we said where are you, we'll come meet up with you for lunch.. and she goes 'oh we stopped for lunch, we're eating now'. His family just blows my mind. So she FINALLY decides to come to the house--meanwhile Carson's baby cousin was with her, so it's not like I got to be entertained, I sat there in the living room talking to his mom. We saw them all of an hour, then we went to dinner and went home. Ended up being there hours later than we planned because of all this, so it messed up Carson's sleep schedule plus he was a mess going home.. sooo upset and tired. Told Russ, next time his Gma can make the trip down to visit us if she wants to see him. ^ Remember how last time I went I thought I'd die of hunger? Because of this I packed a ton of snacks for me & C. It's a good thing, because the same thing happened, no one eats during the day.

Haydee, we still haven't used the crib comforter. Not sure when you get to that. We JUST started using a blanket (which he loves) a couple weeks ago, and it's a small size one so he can't get stuck under it. We took off the bumper padding when he was able to roll over, so he didn't wind up underneath it. Yeah they scare you with -everything-. This weekend was too short. Carson has been bottle free (even for night time, which is only one he has anymore) for 2 days. YAYYYY. Tonight he cried in my arms as I rocked him, and what got him to stop crying? Humming Christmas carols. LOL. So 4 or 5 songs later, he was snoring on my shoulder. We are going to TN tomorrow to visit in laws, get to meet BIL's daughter, and their g'ma is in town from PA and she hasn't seen Carson since xmas. Back is killing me.

I plan to swap to sleeve after I'm done with the babies thing. All self-pay of course, so that's a lot of saving, who knows when I'll be able to afford it. Glad Judy is on her way to recovery! I had a dream last night that I was at a normal walk-in clinic because I had a cough.. and some reason they decided to do an amniotic test (without me knowing it), so they walk in and go 'did you know you're pregnant! you're having a girl, she's good and healthy!'. And I was like whaaat?? I knew I was preg, but didn't know how they knew.. anyway.. then they wanted to give me 2 big azz shots in my belly for the baby since I had a cough, and that was a big ordeal I kept saying no... but I woke up and kept going "it was a dream... but they did an amniotic test, so it has to be accurate!" lol

Michelle, so it's more expensive to buy via online than via phone?? Oh and I'll ride all the slow easy rides.. haunted house, its a small world, etc. All comin' back to me now. Pirates of the caribbean is one I like too.

Our eggs were under recall, I was too lazy to figure out the numbers and what not. The risk of salmonella (sp) just 4x'd what it usual is, and that was hardly worth the outcry to me. I only use eggs to cook inside stuff, I don't eat eggs. People around here keep making comments about me not being able to ride anything at Disney Land, so that could be true, BUT I didn't plan to ride anything anyway. I'm not a thrill seeker. The only thing I normally ride is It's a Small World---do they have that at Disney LAND Michelle?? I know I could still ride that if they have it. I love the ambiance and atmosphere of amusement parks. When did you start feeling her Haydee?? I missed that post! Woohoo, isn't it great? I can't wait.

Haydee, I have the bad round ligament pains, I really don't remember them till late in C's pregnancy, but I pull them all the time now. Getting up out of bed, sneezing (which I do A LOT), coughing, even when I pee sometimes. And it makes me buckle over and hold my stomach till it stops. We're not painting the room till we find out the sex, we just got the furniture put together, and trying different layouts. That room is about double the size of Carson's (feels like it anyway), and we're leaving 1 computer/computer desk & 1 shelf of books in there... along with the baby furniture. Yesterday I was putting the changing table pad on there and Carson was in there with me and he kept pointing at the crib making noises, so I was telling him "We're in the BABY's room! Let's find YOUR room, where's Carson's room?" and he'd run down the hall LOL. So maybe I can try to get him to understand that some other person is going to be living in there. He's at the point where he picks things up so quick now. he at least attempts to repeat back what I say. he was playing with the buttons on my shirt this morning and I only said it once "buttons" and he goes "Buhbahs" and looks so intently at them.

Were they called candy cigarettes? I thought they had to change them. Congrats on the good day Judy!! We just went and picked up a baby furniture set from Craigslist. I went and looked at it yesterday, looked good, 3pc set.. crib, changing table with 3x drawers (which can be flipped over to be a flat top dresser when you're done with the changing part), and a 5 drawer dresser. It's called cinnamon colored, but it's a little bit brighter cherry color. Now I'm trying to get people to pick up my guest room furniture. Had a million people on CL show interest, then no one shows up. I need it out of there so I can clean the room to prep for painting!

Conrgats Michelle!!! And glad your leg is more bendy Judy! It needs to be in good shape for Disney LAND!!! Maybe we can rent you a scooter? Michelle, Haydee, and I are on the same flight from TX to CA, so we just coordinated getting seats together (it only took 1 million and 1 e-mails to get it done). I don't like that Travelocity made me think I couldn't pick seats. Michelle told me she uses AA direct, so I went there and sure enough it let me do it. But Travelocity won't let me do it and it doesn't direct me to AA to do it. Never used Travelocity in the past, don't imagine I will again in the future. I normally use Orbitz or Expedia, which are both very user friendly.

Whew, Saturday was like a repeat of Fri the 13th. Everything was going wrong!!! We got a late start to ATL, due to having to help mom with some stuff before we left.. But we made good time, so we made up for it... until we hit some really bad storms. Traffic was down to 30MPH in all lanes for an hour. So we lost that made up time, then there's a time change (hour ahead), we planned to get to the hotel by 6pm, so we could change, get dinner then go to the meet & greet (the instructions in my e-mail said get there 2 hours before the show--8pm, even though I knew she had a 7pm show so she wouldn't be there at 8pm). Sooo we get there at 7:40pm, check in, get dressed really quick, head over to the theater (it was across the street).. and will call had our passes + instructions--meet at 9:30.. whew, so we had time to go eat, thank goodness. So we went back to the hotel's restaurant which is a hoity toity one and we were under dressed. They clearly didn't want to seat or serve us.. so they put us out on the patio. I got something, Russ decided to wait. We went back to the room, he ordered room service, they said it would be less than 30m.. well an hour goes by and no food and we have to get to the show!! He ended up having to refrigerate it for later, we get to the show at 9:30.. they take us back and we have to wait outside her door.. till 9:53 (her show was at 10).. so it was a very quick M&G. It was us, 2 gay couples, and the Old Spice guy (who is most definitely gay). All 5 of them were squealing and giggling, I think that was highly entertaining. They all looked immaculate too, I felt under dressed YET AGAIN. Sorry I just don't have it in me to dress up to sit in a theater for 2 hours. Kathy was SO FRIGGIN SMALL. I knew she was small, but oh my goodness small. I thought I was going to break her when she hugged me. And I hate our pics together, she makes me feel so huge. She signed my book & a magnet. Russ pulled out his iPhone to take a pic, and she starts askin him what he thinks about (some feature) that she said pisses her off. And he goes 'Oh all you have to do is get this app blah blah'.. and she goes "TIFFANY!(her assistant) get with this guy and fix my phone". So he fixes her phone. Made me laugh. When I told her I wanted a full body pic so I could show baby one day that they were there! She goes "Did you know?" and I'm like eh? She said it would come to me later, and in her show she talks about that show "I didn't know I was pregnant" which we recently started watching. Her skits were funny and nothing I've seen on her show, so it was 2 hours of crying with laughter. Glad we got to go!!! Russ enjoyed it too, despite his initial reservations. He even enjoyed meeting her.

noooooooooooo I'm going to have the Mama Lucia song stuck in my head all day now!!!!! I got the slight unfill after finding out preg, so I could eat veggies and salads. Didn't work so well. I am still too tight till about 4pm...so I pick at food--chips & dip, or chicken nuggets & ketchup. But then after 4pm I'm an open flood gate, and I can't control myself, esp. since I couldn't eat much before 4pm. I miss the days of being one of them folks who the band magically worked and I had to put no effort into it. I miss being size 14. Smallest I'd been since pre-4th grade. Now I need to win the lottery so I can afford to convert to the sleeve. I get to gush over Kathy Griffin tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Uhmmm Michelle, shouldn't they have been on girly porn sites?!?! And what was this site did you say? haydee, I have a hard time distinguigish between cravings and being a fat girl. I have been on an ice cream kick, eating it every night... and I say it's a craving because man I want ice cream, and in the past I never keep ice cream in the house.. i like it but I don't REALLY want it. Now I REALLY want it. That's why Carson was muching on an ice cream cone in the video I posted yesterday, I have been making ice cream cones (for me)... he gets a cone. I think it's the funniest thing that now I don't like hershey bars, it's sticking.. the thought of them is like UGH now. I did have a craving for peanut M&M's this morning, I could smell them I wanted them so bad.. went to vending machine and we're sold out!! So I'm really just wanting sweets all the time, but maybe it's because I'm eating sweets and making that sugar addiction even worse. Who knows.. I don't like my band anymore.

I got your text Pam and realized I had ingredients to make it. Then I reminded myself I need to not eat that!!! So I made hot dogs rolled in crescent dough(my last can) for dinner, so as not to be tempted!! That's funny (and sweet) about Juan rubbing your belly. I'm already having the bad back and hips pains while sleeping, which sucks, I think I was well into C's pregnancy before they happened..already stacking a million pillows around my body and getting everything lined up just right, just for me to toss and turn! Day started early today, Russ had a doc appt. at 8, and school started back Monday. We've been in traffic for an HOUR!! UGH. But I got to work at 7:30, and didn't realize we don't open till 8 hah.. I normally come between 8:30-9:30. So it's quiet and dark around here. I helped my dad sell his jaguar on craigslist, so he is giving me $500 for helping, it's going straight into a box that's going to be used to buy new baby furniture! I've seen nice sets on craigslist before, so I hope sometime in the next few months some more will go up and I can buy an existing set for cheaper and not have to assemble (oh man that was a nightmare).

I posted them on FB Jane! Good luck tonight!! Speaking of "the most wonderful time of the year", I have been getting excited about Christmas this week!! I am so ready for that time of the year... could have something to do with the fact that it's been 100-110 degrees for the past month straight with no rain... and this is really unusual for us. We normally have storms all summer long, and it only gets high 90's (not even 100) a few days mid-august. SNOW PLEASE

It's only 3.5 hours away. I use to live there and make the commute back to H'ville every weekend! We are staying for the night, just a little vaca for his b'day.
