Judy; so he must REALLY be a butter ball LOL. I love the dimples and cankles on the wrists lol. Carson has it all, I love squishing his skin.... I don't know the rate they're suppose to grow, but I am guessing Carson will be taller than 25" in a month, if he's 24" now?

Jane, Pulaski isn't far at all, we have a couple guys at work that live there, so they drive back and forth from there every day!!! I pass it going to in laws house, never stopped threre, didn't know it was an actual city with things like hotels.. it's just an exit in the middle of nowhere!

Lunasa, my opinion of the band doesn't seem to be the norm from what I hear, so I don't know if this helps, but I'm an emotional eater and I WANT to binge, but with good restriction; I can't and can't. Even if I want and occasionally would try, the band stopped me. Judy, Carson went from premie clothes to 3 month real quick. A lot of 0-3m stuff is way too tight, so he mostly wears 3m. (He hasn't worn a lot of stuff, and can't now, that we got) His first doc visit for height he was in 25 percentile and weight was 19 percentile. I knew no kid of mine was gonna be small lol, as of yesterday he is 24" and 13lb (wow Grady must be way chubby, Carson looks like a butter ball and they are the same height!!) Anyway, Carson is now 50 percentile in height and 75 percentile in weight. I have even put him in some 6-month onesies and they fit fine.. I was wondering about sizing, they seem 'off', and googled one night, seems I'm not alone in this. He outgrew most of the cheapie packs of onesies of 0-3m when he was about 5 weeks (He's 2 months as of yesterday). Got my fill, and he said when the billing girl asked him he couldn't remember the situation, so he had them fix it.. well he made a note on my chart and the billing girl (who is out today) will fix it. But he always stresses, I need to come EVERY month; even if I don't need an adjustment. That's just not realistic, I'm not driving 6 hours and payin $75 to get weighed and for them to ask me how I feel. He did say today my water intake isn't good. I normally hit 64oz, but this time I said 40oz; I know I've been lax. He said he wants me to aim for 100oz!!! He said they changed it recently, and he said even a gallon would be good. They gave me a whole nother cc, they wanted to do .5, but I told him with 2.5cc I am feeling nothing, so he went ahead gave it to me, gave me crackers & water.. I told him, I'll probably need an adjustment in a month, I still don't feel much.. and he said he wants to wait till next month to do anymore. That's fine (that's what I said!). One weird thing, I told the nurse, I don't know how many new banders they get, but there's this website forum for lap-band that has been a huge help--she cut me off to say they do the realize band now--and I said, either kind of band are welcome, and she says "They have their own forum, and if they don't want to go there I think there's ObesityHelp". I was like oooook..scuse me for trying to help, that really threw me for a loop.

I HOPE he has more money than me, with it now being standing room only in his waiting room and appts. running an hour behind. And he's a surgeon. He could probably buy earrings that are $450 OFF. Teehee. I'm scared something is wrong with my band and have just been too afraid to say it and admit it, at 2.5cc which was my perfect restriction last year.. I feel nothing now. And it seemed the more weight I had, the tighter it was, but I'm 38lbs heavier than I was this time last year. I guess I will bring it up, if they won't give me credit for those 2 I'll immediately swap to the closer doctor. If they give me the 2 free, I'll go to him at least 2 more times so they can make the $150 off of me.

I need you guys' input!!! I told ya how my fill doc charged me for last time and the nurse said the doc said I don't have free time left; even though they DID tell me they were re-starting my fills from 2nd surgery because the 2 fills before that didn't work due to defective port. It is logical. So I planned on bringing it up tomorrow, which I really hate confrontation and he's so nice so this really surprises me... Russ said don't bring it up. But they owe me those 2 free :wink: Should I say something?

Could be, I was super tight for no reason, called to schedule an unfill; they couldn't get me in for a month. Later that day I realized i missed TOM that day, so took a test and sure enough I was preg. I got them to get me in for an unfill sooner, but honestly, within 2 weeks that super tightness wore off and I regretted having an unfill. My doc is so far away, I figured I'd just wait till after I had baby to get a fill back.. but I did some major weight damage in that time, and now I can't get back to my restriction. So if I ever get my restriction back, when we have baby #2, I am going to tough out the initial tightness (if it happens that way again).

I found them Jane! I got Judy's drinks :wink: Our Walmart has a huge selection of the sugar free packets, it's amazing. There's at least 50 flavors, between Ocean Spray, Hawaiian Punch, Crystal Light, generic, and Koolaid.

YAY I can't wait to look at dresses. I'm kind of sad I was a size 26 in my wedding dress :thumbup: It ran small, but still hate that number, and hate my wedding pics. I try it on every once in a while, you can't even tell it's a dress, it just hangs on me like a sheet. I plan to get re-married on our 10 year in a nice pretty size 10 dress :bored: I woke up with an upset stomach, thought maybe I'd stay home, but then said.. I'll take Immodium and be ok. We get to work and I forgot to take Immodium. UGH. So I keep having to run to the bathroom. :eek: Carson's checkup is today and he gets his first immunizations, I wonder if I'll cry!!

Ava Maria makes me cry! Haydee as soon as you guys have something in stone let us know, I'd like to get it arranged as far in advance as possible! We were originally going to get married November of 07, with a big wedding, had everything booked and then last minute we changed it to 7/7/07 in Vegas with just a few people. You should be good at this by now since that's what you do! Any ideas about dresses yet? So exciting, wish I was there to look with you hehehehehe.

LOL sounds so much like my proposal. I helped him pick it out, he wanted a big diamond because my hands are big and he didn't want it to look goofy.. and he wanted a perfect diamond vs. the biggest in the end. I just wanted white gold. So he picked out the diamond. We had it at the house, and he waited for the perfect opportunity; while I was watching Judge Judy. He just gave it to me, at least you got some pretty words

I have a cousin in Canada, I see once every 5 years or more.. She is coming down (I THOUGHT next weekend) for our family cookout on her way to somewhere else. Anyway on Facebook she said 27th :tongue_smilie: I will probably have to break away on that Sunday during our trip and come up and see her, she wants to see Carson too. I won't spend all day, but I can't not go.

I slept in today; as much as I could, waking up to entertain Carson as needed. He was bored so I tried reading him a Dr. Suess book. We got half-way through before he got annoyed, but for the first half he was grinning and coo'ing, it was adorable!!! I don't remember reading them as a kid except for Green Eggs & Ham, so the stories are all new to me lol. I was reading red fish blue fish thing.. very bizarre.

OK not only did I fear this too; it's happening :drool: I am out of control, I got out of control during pregnancy.I had 2.5cc pre-pregnancy and had a very good restriction and was losing amazingly. I was unfilled to 1.5cc and had semi-restriction up until around 6 month and it magically disappeared (which scared me; still does). I gained about 70lbs during pregnancy. I lost about 30lb really quick, now I'm stuck. Had a refill a month ago, they put the whole 1cc back-I feel nothing. I feel like when I was first banded- very slight restriction, if I ate a huge bite of a burger and don't chew I'll feel the band (I hate myself for knowing this). So..... I'm scared. I have another fill on Tuesday, and if this one doesn't phase me I don't know what I'll do. I don't diet well, thus the band.

Oh, (filling up the new thread with a bunch of junk already) one more thing... I had to call 911 today because a crazy old woman who shouldn't have a license. I'm driving down a 4-lane highway which THANK GOD was pretty quiet. There's a grass median in the middle. So I'm driving one way, and there's this little old lady driving the same way; on the other side of the median!! I start laying on my horn trying to get her attention, she goes a good half mile in oblivion- coming up on a red light that has plenty of cars about to come head-on into her. She never did hear me honking, but luckily that light was red because she got to it right when oncoming traffic started moving, so they all laid on their horn and stopped. She just stopped in the middle of the road and sat there- that was the last I saw, I was turning off. OY.

Yeah, got some free time (did I just jinx myself??) and updated my pics hehehe. For those of you without facebook... May 27th we had a storm and the most complete & beautiful rainbow (2 actual) I've ever seen in my life, it was so breath taking.. the shadows in our yard made it even better, the field had the sun so it was glowing gold and then a dark cloud cast a shadow over everything else. Anyway, I took some pics (which don't do it justice):
