Gerber's onesie sizing has got to be a joke. 3-6 month ones, do not fit him at all, too tight around arms and legs. And have to stretch and pull to try to get it to go around his crotch.

I compare pictures of Carson to his very first pic (12 week ultrasound where it's baby & yolk sac in 3-d). LOL. -
Mom is baby sitting Carson tonight as usual for our Saturdays..we're going to see The Proposal tonight. Love the cast, have been wanting to see it for a while and I'm glad it's still out!

Our summer has been unusually cool too... global warming?! I am gassy and tummy upset, and for once in his life Russ won't put his dang headphones on so I can rip em and blame it on the dog. Just put Carson down for the night. Haydee I'm so excited for you, when we planned last minute to do the wedding I had JUST missed the bridal fair, I have friends who model in it, they sound like a blast, I know you're going to have SO MUCH FUN!! Make sure to send me plenty o' pics.

Send it to me Jane! Tracy, if you log in FB on the bottom click on chat and on the top of that bar select 'options' and you can make yourself appear Offline, and it will save it that way, but I don't know if you were looking to do that. I remember what you told us at V-Trip 08, but it sounds like things just went downhill from there. Have you told us what's goin on and I missed it, or you just not talking about it? I agree with the girls of course, You need to take care of your baby first. TGIF, I can't scream it loud enough.

I think.. cooking pot roast over night was a bad idea. Carson waking up every 4 hours, I wonder if the smell is making him hungry??

And we're here for you Tracy!

Hayde, the '...' in the address is probably messing it up. You need the full address in there. Otherwise, looks right. And no, neither of them were overweight.

Weird, a girl at work had a stroke 2 months ago.. mid-30's, relatively healthy (she drinks a lot though). This morning one of the sales guys (late 30's, early 40's) also relatively healthy, but he does ultimate fighting (ick).. had a stroke. This is a high stress job, can ya tell? :/

That's why my phone is on quiet. It vibrates if I'm getting a call, but if I get a text it is silent, so I never know. Just call next time

I went to buy fancy cold sore medicine one day and asked the Pharmacist if I can use it while pregnant, and he said.. don't waste money on the expensive stuff, just put Neosporin on a q-tip and dab it. So that's what I did, and it worked!

Jane, This is random but me & Russ went to a convention in St. Louis, and I had Beef Wellington for the first time somewhere, it was so amazing.. so ever since I've tried it other places that aren't even half as good. Long story short, someone remembered the name of the place today:Llewellyn's Ever heard of it?
-
So they're not just cold sores?? Haydee- Oh jeez, frozen meatballs are the bomb. The big red bag that has like 100 in em. That's a staple in my house, even if you just pop 5 in the microwave they taste fantastic. Then I bookmarked a website of 1001 ways to make frozen meatballs, and I try something new every once in a while. So no, not frozeny tasting whatsoever.. very flavorful.

Made a good meatball soup last night, made enough for me to take to work all week. In large saucepan bring 4c beef broth, 1 can stewed tomatoes (undrained), 1 tsp chili powder, 1/2tsp of cumin (I left out cause I don't have any), 1/2 tbsp garlic powder, 1 chopped onion.. to a boil then reduce and simmer for 15-20m. Then add can of black beans (drained), frozen meatballs (however many you want), and 1/2c uncooked instant rice(I used brown). Bring back to boil, then cover and simmer for an hour. I put a chunk of fresh mozzerella in the middle when serving. Yum yum.

Went to doc, did GI Study.. good news is there is NO SLIP and my pouch is NOT DILATED. HOORAH!!! Bad news is.. above. So there's nothing wrong. We did the barium and it went right through, so he filled me another .25cc.. And he did another barium, and he said it got stuck for a minute, so now he's afraid it's too tight, made me go back to their office to eat crackers (which is not an indicator since that's a slider food, I never understood that). We went to Shoney's afterward--2pm appt since we gotta drive from Huntsville, but no food or drinks till then.. food is ok, but not drinking from 6am-2pm was pretty rough, I was gargling water and spitting it out. I can't tell yet about restriction. Oh well

Heather- My saving grace at getting Carson to sleep the first several weeks; I put the soothing center chair inside of his bassinet, so he slept tilted up and curled so he wasn't sprawled out which he hated (but does not mind anymore, whew) and always woke him up, especially that Morrow (I think it's called) reflex. If you have any portable (comfortable) kind of chair that would fit in the bassinet, I highly recommend it!!

Brad & Belynda.. that's fine I can give it to them! That's weird, I went to respond and a banner ad was actually in the box you type at, so I had to go advanced to type a message..Carson just woke up, ate maybe 1/2oz, and went back to sleep. :cursing:
-
Maybe that's why he cries so much, his life has been one never ending growth spurt!
-
HOLY COW JUDY!!! He looks 1 years old already. I have that same bouncer, so that gave me a good perspective.. wowser. He getting his Flinstone vitamins in or something??

I've been eating like crap, cause subconsciously I think my band is getting fixed next week and it's back to eating very little, and no breads.. so I don't care right now. Although, when we went grocery shopping last week I didn't get any snack foods since if I don't have it--I won't eat it. So Instead of chips & ice cream, I've been snacking on grapes and granola bars. But when I make dinner or go out to eat, I'm not counting or caring. I should add, the scale reflects this!!!! Him telling me about his toys is cute, but it's a lot more cuter when you're not zonked. He kicks and flails while looking back and forth between his toys and going "OOooOooo?" "Ooooo!" "Ooooo?" "Ah!"
-
...which of course leads to me waking him up by checking on him, giving him a bottle, now he's ready to play and tell me all about his toys.
-
Haydee, here is the alternative!! Put him to bed at 7.. he hasn't made a peep and it's 4:30!! Instead of being greatful, I worry something is wrong. :scared2:

Hah hah, normally (as of about 2 weeks ago), he takes a bottle around 8pm, we lay him down, he finds a hand and falls asleep.. till somewhere between 1-3am, wakes up and we feed him, put him right back down, finds a hand, back to sleep. Then he's up around 6am for good, which means I doze with him in my arms in my bed on and off till 8am (he coos, wiggles, naps, content). So last night, 7:30am he eats, finds hand, sleeps. At 3am he wakes up, I go in with the bottle to feed him in the rocker.. feed him, and he's wide awake, smiling at me and giggling (it's so cute, but dang go to sleep!!). Burped him, and while burping he making noises of I guess annoyance and wiggling around. So I put him down like usual, and he continues making the noises, and smacking himself trying to get his hand. I leave, hear him crying. Go back, SHHHH him and pat him, help him get his hand, and he keeps crying. Pick him up, and he just makes noises and wiggles. Repeat for 2 hours, trying different music, lighting, rubbing, patting, rocking, walking around, shhhh'ing. 5am I fed him again, tried to put him down to no avail. So I am tired and annoyed myself, so I take him and the bassinet into my room. I lay down with him on my chest, he still squirming and whining... so I pat him, shhh and start whining myself. Finally yawns, so I put him in the bassinet and he fell asleep for an hour. Got up, wanted to play (about 6:30). And then he was awake talking, giggling, wouldn't let me lay him down till we got to work. I just laid in bed with him sitting up on my knees. I am hoping this was a weird night, and he goes back to his wonderful routine He still has a hard time finding his hand, which upsets him, but normally he finds some part of it long enough to go to sleep.. unless he's spazzing out, then he can't control his hands and starts smacking himself. I think life would be a lot easier if he liked pacifiers. This actually triggers crying if I try to offer it at night.

I hada long night with Carson, he got up at 3am on the dot- wide awake, would not go back to sleep. Fed him twice in the 3 hours he was up, and he would not lay back down.. I was so miserable. I got this cry analyzer (that I never used), so I turned it on to see what his problem is. You know what it said? He was ANNOYED. ME TOO!!!!! LOL. When I saw "Annoyed", I thought gee is that him or what happens to me when he's crying like this.. I don't know what you do for annoyed, so it was pointless to know why he was crying.. well, I guess it kept me from feeding him for a 3rd time. The University must be tired of my e-mails every 20-30m. They finally announced the check is cut and not only would they have mailed it today; they are going to hand deliver it. YAY.
