me and husband have wanted to join the mile high club.. I don't even know why, I guess the rush?! But, I found out it's a felony!! And I'm too much of a good girl, I have a clean record and couldn't bear the thought of having a felony charge for sex in a bathroom.

I looked up the dictionary of Yenta, that wasn't what I was going for lol. I guess I watch too many movies!! My mom has never tried to hook me up with anyone, and so it's a foreign concept to me.. it's entertaining to listen to though

Vessa- thanks for the info! I go in for port revision surgery tomorrow.. it detached, tilted, and now leaks.. I've been trying to find someone say how the pain is post-op. My original surgery was HORRIBLE for pain, I thought I was dying for a little bit. But when they do the port, it's not so painful??

Morning violets! We were at the cook out last night till about midnight.. woosh. My bedtime is 10pm! Everyone was getting drunk, I actually had to go in search for non-alcoholic drinks. I was the only one sober, and took heat for it.. but I am extremely anti-drinkin' & drivin' unlike the rest of the group. I still woke up feeling hung over, how weird is that?! We woke up an hour late for work and my eyes are swollen and I'm just in a foggy haze. Today I go to the dentist at 2pm, then going home to shower and pack and then we head out of town for my surgery. I'm trying not to be nervous, I shouldn't have a lot of pains or problems when I wake up, since they're not stitching something to my stomach. Right? They said they'll give me an Rx for pain meds when I leave, but I wish I had it ahead of time so on our drive back home tomorrow I could take them. At bowling last night I bowled a 203! Woohoo. We also play a quarters game (not drinkin' game!) it's a way to gamble while we bowl.. I won 4 dollars! It's not a lot, but it makes me proud to win heh. Working on my morning coffee & bottle of water. I have to fast at midnight tonight.. like that's a problem, I don't eat around then anyway.. I'll be ASLEEP! The pre-op is at 6am tomorrow. I'll make sure to post before I leave

I glanced at this thread before just out of curiosity.. I've never had tofu, and never had a desire to try it. But it sounds healthy.. On my Unwrapped tv show last night they had some Tofu festival where they are trying to show people how versatile it is, and I have to say a lot of it looked REALLY good.. now my interest is peaked, and I really want to try it. Keep the recipes comin, waitin for one that makes me go OOOO :car:

I watch a show called Unwrapped.. and it's like the 'how its done' for a lot of food, and it's always a theme. Last night I watched one about high Protein Foods. They did one, that was the 6lb hamburger (meat) that no one has ever been able to eat within the 3 hour challenge.. oy. (The burger is as big as one's head, has a whole head of lettuce, 2 tomatos, 5 pickles, 1 onion, 1/2c mayo, 1/2c mustard, 1/2c of relish) it was quite disgusting! The whole thing put together was 10lbs. But they showed 2 different protein things I'd never heard of, so I thought I'd ask if anyone's heard of them/tried them. They sound great on the show, but that's advertising for ya. Detour Protein Bar- Forward Foods, LLC - Detour Energy Bars The one they showed being made, they said it tastes just like a snickers, but with 30g of protein in the bar. (WOWEE) Anyone ever had one of these? The other was Body for Life's Protein shake. (By EAS) Actually, while searching for a website with info it said it's discontinued by EAS.. so nevermind that.. unless someone's had them, I'm still curious to know if they were any good!

We tried the whole distance thing for a little bit, then I ended up moving to New Mexico. My reward.. is when he finished, we got to move back to my hometown and be near my family in Alabama :car:

I guess.. out of boredom from havin' to stay late at work, I decided.. despite the fact I've yet to meet a protein shake I could tolerate, I wanted to try some more. So I looked for a place with samples.. I wanted to try Nectar, and they also had Dymatize..$1.89 per sample.. so I got 3 nectar and 2 dymatize.. $9.45 total... I selected cheapest shipping (but it didn't tell me the cost), and then I hit submit, and without telling me shipping charge, it just processes order, then tells me it was $9 shipping! Stupid people who rip others off. I know there's no way it's 9 dollars to ship it I could ship it on my account for less than 2 bucks.

I can eat anything if I want to right now.. this revision needs to happen ASAP lol. Girls at work bring in donuts a couple times a week, and I so love donuts.. but I don't go to the break room on the days they bring them in, otherwise I won't be able to control myself. I've been donut free since March 2007!

My doctor made sure I realized.. before I had surgery.. the band is meant to be permanent. He said if you have it removed, you'll just gain it back. And I know that's true for my situation.. If I could control my weight, I would have by now! I had no problem agreeing to that, and unless there's something wrong (erosion, etc.) I won't be removing it ever!

After 4 fills and feeling like I barely had a band, last week they did contrast in the band.. and as soon as they inject into the port it just goes SPLOOSH all over the place. And thanks

We had our employee appreciation lunch.. OY. I did good mostly, I wanted a beer brat, but they made something new.. some spicey keilbasa (cut into 3 person portions I think). So I took a beer brat, and someone wanted to try the kielbasa, so I said split this one with me, I can't eat it all. They hmmed and changed their mind, so I had them both on my plate, about 1oz of potato salad and 1oz of baked beans.. I ate 3/4 of the kielbasa and the brat.. BLECH. (No buns) I knew I shouldn't have, lunch for me is normally very small. But they were so good. I'm payin for it now, I do not feel good. I have bowling tonight, then have to come back here for the appreciation dinner for 2nd shift. Phew.. doubt I'll eat anymore of that stuff tonight. They also had hamburgers and hot dogs.. I saw one guy, who is HUGE.. get 2 burgers.. and these are those huge 1/2lb kind of burgers.. so 2 burger patties on 1 bun. It was about 8inches tall. I was like good god.. that's gross. And to add to that, he also got a brat in a bun. I couldn't even eat 1 of those burgers pre-band.. I don't know how he crammed 2 plus brat. Stuff like that amazes me these days.

I had leg cramps, so I was eating bananas every day for at least a mont (approx. 2 months post-op). If I ate them in the morning, I did have to go super slow, they got stuck sometimes. After noon, they went down fine.

I am up in the air about mice. I've never had a 'problem' with them I guess. We currently live with our back property line right one a HUGE crop field.. corn or something (it's dead from drought, so we never saw what it was).. and mom was telling me mice are rampant out there and our house is probably filled with mice. Mice don't scare me so I said, I doubt it but oh well. I have 3 cats, they can't even kill a bug (they follow them around and cover them with a paw, then raise the paw to follow it again).. but they would find the mice I would think. How would I know if I had mice?

Weight watchers has snack cakes that are pretty darn good. I forget what the calories are now, haven't had one in a while.. The carrot cake with cream cheese icing.. Mm!! And I know you're *suppose* to stop craving stuff if you don't eat it.. but I did Atkins diligantly for 4-5 months, not a single gram of sugar the whole time.. and what made me blow the diet was donuts. I just couldn't take it anymore and I kid you not, I ate the whole box of donuts. Maybe 4-5 months isn't long enough to get it out of your system?

Ok, is it suppose to be painful? I'm trying it, figuring out what you're talking about.. but it hurts.. I know beauty is pain, but wanted to make sure this is right!

I guess I could elaborate. I am happily married and not looking, but I am meeting great people here and I WISH I lived closer to a lot of them, because I think we would be great friends in real life. Now, that being said.. you really must let us know who you met, inquiring minds NEED to know!

I signed up for a lot of stuff. On one hand, if I get samples that's cool.. on the other hand, I just sold my soul to the junk mail demons.

I am a Lost addict!!! I watch it with Tivo, and I spend hours pausing certain spots, and moving in slow-mo so I can catch weird blips. Like the person in the shack, that Locke heard, etc. It looked like one of the Others IMO, dressed like Christopher Columbus. As much as I love Lost, I can't wait for it to be over so we get the answers to all the bizarre events.

Tracy- Aww I love the pics, and look how skinny you're getting!!!!!!!!! I guess it is weird, poker doesn't phase me, but something about going to stores alone sets my craziness off. Mom said last night, my sister was put on more meds and they did more tests.. and they said if the meds aren't making her feel better by noon on Friday they are admitting her to the hospital. Same day of my surgery! So now mom is torn, since it's 3 hour drive, she said she wants to take 2 cars in case I have to stay longer and she has to get back for my sister. We're broke at the same time hah. I weighed last night.. 284lb! So much for gaining weight Past 3 days I've been under my regular caloric intake.. I don't know why, but it's like I'm too distracted to eat at night which is normally my downfall. Today is employee appreciation, so we're doing a cook out. I have to go to both times (noon and 9pm), and make sure the pickles are out! Hah! See you girls later

Kity- I'm not a pushover type, and 90% of all customer service that deals with me.. I'm the customer from hell. When they try to rip me off/scam me, etc. I am all about fighting them. The problem with my doctor, and maybe he does this on purpose LOL.. he is a WONDERFUL guy.. personality I mean. He hugs me everytime he sees me, huge smile, so nice, when he does my fills he's saying how patient I am and what a wonderful girl I am blahty blah.. so its a lot of making me feel good.. I've never seen him without a smile, so it's really hard to try to see me telling him I'm unhappy about something. I had to find the courage to say "Look, these fills aren't working!!".. and I even felt flustered about that. I guess they treat me so well, I hate the idea of being a naggy customer, if that makes sense. Just like getting my files to go to another doctor, I didn't have the courage to bring it up last visit.. now all this, and I'm going to get free fills for a while, so I'm not moving doctors to a local-er one till that's over at least. Anyway, I've never in my life met a doctor that was so sweet. He really is great. And he is doing the surgery Friday for free.. but the hospital charges, anesthesia charges, and the inamed people chargin for the port like I said.. So there.. I'm back onto happy feelings.. can't wait for Friday to come and go. They said no more b/c.. fehhhh..all these things makin me so nervous, I don't wanna pop up preggers. Last thing I need right now...and husband is insatiable.. and I'll be the first to admit *I* hate condoms. And he makes a big deal about having to buy them.. heh!

Tracy- wow.. a large shirt. I haven't worn one of those since 3rd grade!! I am down to 2x in Old Navy sizes, and 3x at most my other places (I was 3x and 4-5x respectively before). I think the day I wear a large shirt, i will likely burst into happy tears!
