So for a cookie that is 70c, in my brain it needs to be a sizable cookie. Just like the peanut butter, I love it and would enjoy to nibble at it, but for the amount in 1 tbsp I can't justify it. I know I'll still be hungry, want more, etc. I would likely eat 3 tablespoons and that would be like 400calorie with the PB I have.. and I don't like the unsweetened or whatever PB, tried that before and it didn't pass my taste test. So for my sweet tooth, I really prefer the granola bites. For 90c, there's a lot of little bites in there. And I take 2 bites to eat each one. So it lasts a while, I like it, it has fiber (which is a bonus for me), and only 90c. If the cookie would last as long as the granola bites for 70c, I'd consider it on *my* list of snacks.

My goals change.. initially it was 2,000.. then 1,600.. now it's 1,300 but I WANT it to be 1,200. I get anywhere from 800-1500 right now. The things that 'spike me' are my morning frappuccinos (200c) and caprisun (110c). I need to stop having those, but it's hard to give it up. Sometimes I just don't want water..

Panda- Honestly? It's your life, your body, your baby If you want it now, go for it!! You're not that much overweight anymore. Maybe he wants you to do it so you won't gain too much weight during pregnancy (I.e. you'll gain 50lbs and be 100lbs overweight, vs. if you wait and gain 50lbs you'll be 50lbs overweight). Who knows, but there's larger people having kids all the time. I have a friend who is about 300lbs and 5'5, and she is trying to have a kid. It's not like in the history of baby birthin, big women don't have babies. Yeesh. Good luck :fish2: We are going to be 'trying' end of 2008. I HOPE to have lost all this excess weight by then.

Sugar causes hormone blah blah which causes acne. That's something my gyno told me once. I don't have acne, but she was relating it to my mood swings and that was part of it. Maybe since you likely eat less sugar now, less acne? I think my hair is actually getting oily-er since banding. It might just be that it's thinning out. But I normally could go 2 days without washing it, now I have to do it everyday or it looks horribly stringy.

Depending on what you count (like me, I count calories not carbs or sugar).. The sugar-free stuff is normally higher in calorie from what I've seen. The Russell Stover's sugar-free candies (found in almost every store around here) are amazing, taste 100% like the real things. I loved them when I did Atkins.. but I bought some recently and they're so high in calories I threw them out.

Kind of funny, this exact thing gets posted on a weekly basis. Draining the broth out of brothy Soup (like chicken noodle soup campbell's) was really refreshing to me after heating up plain ol' chicken broth. Try popsicles. The broth in ramen noodles. Pre-op I only had 3 days of liquid, and post-op I didn't want to eat AT ALL during my liquid phase anyway, so it wasn't too torturous for me. Hopefully post-op you'll be the same way, so it's just these 2 weeks to tough it out. Keep your eye on the prize! Oh, chew ice if you feel the need to chew.

Ok, maybe I am too tight. I've been trying to suck it up until I lose more weight and the fill reduces.. but gah. Stomach been growlin, I'm soo hungry. We went to TGIFridays.. he got a sicillian quesadilla thing. I picked at the inside of one of them (cheese & bacon & ham I guess).. and then I got stuck. Bad stuck, on such a little amount. I had to run to the bathroom (throwing up in my mouth). And right by the bathroom was a table of some FINE lookin guys hehe. So I go in, empty restroom (thank goodness), and I barf for a bit.. go back to the table. I order a coffee to try to loosen me up. I sip the coffee, and instead of loosening me up, it's BUILDING up. Ran again to the bathroom (this time conscious that it looks like I keep running to the bathroom, I must have diarhea!!). Hot guys still there. Some girls in there, but they were walking out, whew. Vomit vomit, lots of coffee, and LOTS of slime. I go back to the table. Then all of a sudden I'm NAUSEATED. It's not the golf ball, slime, spit up.. but actual nausea. Run to the bathroom again, mouth watering. Hi hot guys, yes I have diarhea! I threw up more slime, and then.. a HUGE BUBBLE. It came out whole, about 6inches in diameter!! It must have formed inside and that's what made me nauseated--because that was a first for me. Husband got my food to go (medium rare 6oz steak mmm) and we came back to work. Been here about an hour, and I'm still throwing up. Think I'm going on liquids this time, this is the worst I've ever felt from my sliming episodes. Normally they only last until I throw up whatever. I didn't eat this much, only 1tbsp of food, and then 1/2c of coffee.. but I sure am finding things to throw up. Darnitall, my next appt. is Oct 22 and I think I'm going to ask for a little defill. I just KNOW.. mark my words, Oct. 24 I will be in here complaining about how unrestricted I am and I knew I shouldn't have done it

Tropical Smoothie, if you live near them, have a wwooonndderful splenda sweetened smoothie I love love. It's pineapple orange. And they will add stuff to them to make them 'meal replacement', so they will keep you full for longer Hang in there!

Aw, that's not true.. my husband is only a dick when he drinks alcohol. But that is horrible, I would be so distraught!!!! I don't know what I'd do if hubby did that to me now, and we're newly married and no kids.

Update on my hospital from hell.. I talked to the lady and about my refund and the $51 bill I got. She said ignore the bill. Good thing I didn't pay that huh? Then I said, so where's my refund?? She said, they sent it on the 4th for $312. They took out $51 for this bill, and $232 for another bill. I said, what's the 232 for??? So I'm on hold a while. She says "Oh, insurance did pay this, so I'll turn in another refund form for $181". HELLO!? If I hadn't questioned it, they would have just been double billing all over the place.

The only reason her gf deals with it, is the money. My sister takes my parents money and spoils her gf's. I don't think she's had a gf in her life that she didn't buy a diamond ring! But that's another long story. There is a local thrift store that picks up furniture, a co-worker thinks they will take it with the broken bars, so I tried calling, they're not opened.. but I'm going to tell them what I told her LOL.. If you want it, it has to go NOW!!!

I don't personally think it's a bad idea, I wanted to give it out lol! Although when I was a kid, my favorite houses were the ones that gave out 'goodie bags' and FULL size candy bars. We loved those neighbors! Hah hah.

Yes, someday I would be ecstatic to know I was pregnant, that's just not today. Me and husband decided we're going to start 'trying' end of 2008. Isn't that funny? That's one of those adult things that make me giggle.. "We're going to start trying". So then everyone knows you're busy doing the dirty dirty! I think you have to have some sort of thick skin to post in the rants area. Sometimes it gets heated, and whether they mean to or not, there are personal attacks. So if I think I posted something 'way out there' (like that I'm a right wing republican and think XXXX, inside of a liberal thread), I don't normally go back and check it. My sister has pissed me off, she is so irresponsible it's ridiculous. I could write a book to give you background, but I won't. She is getting better as of last Friday though. Anyway she was suppose to start back work Monday.. didn't show up. Tuesday Knology was coming to fix her internet, so she somehow had to miss 6 hours of work to accomodate them. She came in for the last 2. I have a couch in our guest room, now covered up by our old queen bed & frame/boards. I have been dying to turn that into a guest room. I told her like a month ago "If you want this couch (which she did) you HAVE to come pick it up this week", then it became "You HAVE to pick it up by tomorrow", and of course.. a month has passed. Meanwhile I can't get in that room, which is where I store holiday stuff, and decorations--now that I'm starting to decorate the house- I WANT THEM. So I told her yesterday, you have to come tonight to get it, or I'm giving it to good will. She said I will! I said you promise? And I mean for those 2 hours, every 10 minutes I said, you PROMISE you will come? It HAS to be tonight!! I'm going nutso with not being able to get into that room. She swears, she promises, etc. So when we leave work, I ask her when.. she said, have to go pick up my gf, then we'll get the shop van and I'll be over there. We go home, 2 hours pass. No sister. I called her cell phone 20 times in the next hour. Finally called her gf, who said she is sleeping. I said WAKE HER UP! So she is on the phone, I said COME ON! She said "I am, I'm not asleep, I'll be there in 30". Never shows up. It is so infuriating, this is how she is when she's trying to take a hand out.. imagine how she is if you actually need to count on her for something that has no benefit to her. So this morning she came in here and told me some story about how her and her gf car and the house was broken into. I said yeah, so at 7:30 last night.. which is 2.5 hours after when you were suppose to come by, and you're sound asleep.. something happened around there? I'm irritated.. we pulled out everything in that room, banking that the couch was going to be gone. Now we have filled up other rooms with stuff that need to go back in when we get the couch out. I'm trying to figure out where to take it. Does anyone know if thrift stores takes couches that are broken? It has 2 recliners in it, both have a broken support on it. If recliner is closed, it looks and feels like a brand new couch, but if recliners are open they are tilted and don't support a lot of weight. I have to get this couch out of my house!!! And Terry, hehehe... Nope, not painted yet, still deciding how I'm going to do it. 2 girls at work apparently do a lot of interior (and fun finishes) painting. They offered to come help me if I give them beer. Hm.. beer, paint, and my walls!

Kat I am sure you are just fine! You'll be in my thoughts!!! My bad luck.. I started thinkin about bein pregnant the whole ride to and from, and I was like nooo please nooo. So I come home, pee on the stick. Sittin there, it's not workin. The part that suppose to fill up with results never does anything. Looks like my pee wasn't gettin up there. GAH. I don't need to pee anymore, so I'll have to wait till another time But now that I've been thinking about it, I want to know!! I think I'm just anemic

Alright, just cause I want to be safe and sure, goin to get a prego test. I hate buying those things.. even though I got a wedding ring and ITS OK FOR ME TO BE HAVIN SEX. Boo. Got to think of a cute excuse for me to leave the house without hubby askin all kinds of questions. If he thinks I think I might be pregnant, he'll cut me off from sex thinkin I'm doin it on purpose rofl.

Checking in early, cause I ate dinner early (very hungry), and now I'm stuffed and making my body know I AM NOT GOING TO SNACK A LOT TONIGHT. And I'm going walking tonight, seems to have cooled down a bit. B'fst- Capri Sun (110c) & Kudos Bar (100c) = 210c total Snack- Puffed corn- 120c Lunch- Turkey & Cranberry Sauce= 270c Dinner- Kielbasa & Saurkraut (157c) & creamed corn (131c)=288c 1/2 IDS New Whey= 88c Snack Tonight- Normal Pudding Cup 120c Total= 1096c And according to myplate, the walking I plan on doing will burn 218c. 878 Net calories today

I think he was just trying to sway me away from the Halloween stuff. He has ZERO excitement for things like this, where as I went "Ooooo playdough!". So he said "I wouldn't let my kids have playdough from strangers". Of course, on that note why would you let them have CANDY that they EAT from strangers. I don't question my husband's logic, he's just a man :eek:

Ya know, it's funny I almost bought a pregnancy test today. My thought is, I just had bloodwork 2 weeks ago for surgery, if I was pregnant they would have told me. So I changed my mind. But, I was off my b/c for the surgery and this time I did NOT bleed like crazy. In fact, I didn't bleed at all. Started back on my B/C this week. I thought that was an oddity for my body. Maybe from the weight loss. And my boobs are getting BIGGER. I can't explain this one.. they seperate from my tummy now (YAY), but the CUP is actually bigger now.. I bubble out of the top.. I don't know why that is. I really don't think I'm pregnant..we've been careful! I bought iron pills today at the pharmacy, they didn't have liquid in stock and only one they could order was pediatrics.. so I'm buying some online, but taking these tablets till it comes in. As for the hospital, now that I've calmed down.. I guess that's my biggest concern, I've been working on my credit since I was 16! My parents had the 'credit is important' discussion with me.. I refuse to keep shelling out money to them just to keep my credit good, I didn't know I could send a letter and it keeps them from being able to do that! That's what I'm doing tomorrow. Sending out letters to all departments (Anesthesiologist, head of the hospital accounting, and my doctor) Explaining what I've been told, that was wrong. Being billed too much, my refund not getting sent to me, etc. They really are idiots there, it's like they don't do any real paper work, they just make up numbers.

LOL! That's why I wasn't telling you to go there :eek: I figured you probably wouldn't benefit from 'extended inseams'. But since Wheet seems to be in my boat, the extended inseams would help her out. And I am not a giant (well, not really). I'm 6'0, but my legs are really long (I don't have a long torso really). I wear 37" inseams.
