I'm in the same boat. My rings were too big when we got them, and then I had surgery and they just continue to be way too big. They slide around and never look 'set' like they're suppose to. The engagement ring would NOT stay on my finger if I didn't have the wedding ring that holds it on. I want to get them resized, but waiting as long as I can. The place we got the rings only warranties the diamonds if you use them to work on the rings, and DH bought them in TN (argh!) so it's a couple hours away. They are size 11 (eng) and 10 (wedding) and I think I'm a solid 9 right now. I still have a while to go, and may take mine off if they both start sliding off.

I was scared to have RNY done.. then found the band.. lap-banding pregnancies are safer.. and I want to have kids eventually.. I like that the band can be reversed if something goes wrong...and long term I like that I can always have it adjusted to help me when I need it.

I don't mean to sound like a bummer, but I am curious now.. if you have your thyroid taken out, does it affect your weight? Isn't thyroid problems what causes some people to be overweight? So does this mean you'll lose MORE weight, gain weight, or it doesn't really affect it? (HUGS!)

I know, I'm the middle child. I have all these abnormalties that make me a 'princess'! But but.. for the most part my picky stuff only affects people in my personal life (re: DH). If I go to a restaurant, even if it's mexican and I HATE mexican, I can find something to eat and I don't bitch and moan to anyone about it But sleeping, the last time I tried to be with a snorer (my dad--who also uses cpap), I was up ALL NIGHT listening to him, I kept throwing things at him to try to wake him up long enough for me to fall asleep. It takes me about an hour of quiet to fall asleep.. I guess I could take my sleeping pills and take a couple.. and go to bed before anyone else DH only snores if he sleeps on his back, and he only rolls onto that position by accident. It wakes me up when he starts snoring, so I push him so that he rolls back onto his side.

I am sure you will be just fine, just take deep breaths and relax! Your chances of dying from anesthesia are so minute!! And those people are typically elderly, not someone who is 23. Think happy thoughts

I ordered the vanilla and java(expresso enhanced?) and some sugar freee version all from Oregon Chai tea company. The tv show made lattes that just looked wonderful. And I love milk in my hot tea (if I ever make it). So it looked yum yum.. I use skim milk. I am waiting for them to arrive to try it.

I'm a finicky sleeper, can't sleep with noise.. so I can't room with your snorers!!!

I tried to report to e-bay and got a generic letter back immediately that they can't control e-mails sent by people outside of e-bay. We're still having a laugh about it, but I am still worried since she has my home address

Yeah this lady is premo whacko. I just can't believe it. What scares me more is she has my home address from the CD I *DID* purchase from her. I'm hoping customs would catch any bombs or anything heh.

Our company was one of the first ever to do recycled paper.. back in 1990 for a John Denver CD. Said CD is out of print and 'rare' and blahty blah. Well the CEO asked me to find a copy of the original for a 'green' hollywood ad we're doing in December. This was NO easy feat. I found it on Amazon, but it did not look like the original, so I purchased it for $80 and looked around some more. Found someone in UK who happens to specialize in John Denver CD's. Lucky me. Not.. So I start talking to her in e-mails, and every response e-mail is some sad story about some cat she rescued needing surgery, her sick mom so she can't work, blah blah. And I am politely responding...Please, give me a bottom line pricing, we need this NOW.. and it has to come from UK so this needs to get going. A whole WEEK passes of her sob stories and no real answer. In this time, I receive the one from Amazon and amazingly it IS the original. That same morning, she finally responds, she wants $700 + $200 shipping (because UK shippers are on strike?). $900 total. I was in the middle of my e-mail to her that we got what we were looking for, nevermind.. but thanks! I get a long letter back about how much trouble she went to for me (???) and would like me to send $200 as compensation. Friggin looney toon on my hand. So I don't respond to her e-mail (I also had bid on one of her other versions of this same CD, again I thought it was the original for $20). Auction ends, I pay for it, she sent it to me. I received it yesterday, and my last e-mail to her was 2 Fridays ago. So this morning, customer service manager comes to me with an e-mail. THIS IS RICH. I would like to raise a matter of concern with you regarding an approach recently made to me, on 10th October 2007, by a representative of (my company). I am unhappy with the manner of the request, the outcome and the demands made on my time. However, I first seek assurances that it would be appropriate to raise this matter with yourself, as Customer Service Manager, and that this matter would be dealt with confidentially, respecting the privacy of the individual concerned, in accordance with your company procedures relating to contact with external parties for the sourcing of products required for internal business activities. It would be helpful if you could perhaps advise me of your organisation's recommended procedure regarding written statements of intent to purchase products from private individuals as opposed to corporate transactions. This would help to clarify the criteria to be met by both parties. I've been too tight since my port revision when they filled me up. Since they are such a long drive, and I could get down liquids I was waiting till my appt (today) to get some taken out. I've been PBing an awful lot this past month and spent a lot of days on no solids.. But today I told him I needed a little unfill.. he said they put 1.5cc in there, and for the first time they got the needle in the port in the blink of an eye! No poking and prodding, and it was so easy to access. I was just beaming hah! He got drawback like he expected, and took .5cc out. He gave me crackers, but crackers never had a problem going down anyway so.. when I got home, I made chicken for dinner. The REAL test for me.. My little bite well-chewed went down just fine. It was horribly gross though(don't buy the Chili's do-it-yourself meal things.. blech), so I heated up 6 swedish meatballs instead (1 serving size). I ate 4 of them, pain free and "PB" free.. and satisfied. This could be my sweet spot, hooooray! :whoo:

Advil is the only thing that hurts when my back flares up, because it's when my muscles become inflamed. No amount of tylenol helps that for me.. Of course, Rx pain meds knock me right out, so that is good too.. BUT.. I do have advil once in a blue moon when it gets 'really bad' which is very rare these days (woohoo). I take the pills, but I drink a full 8oz at least of water with it, to make sure it gets washed down well.

Darn, I was hoping it was similar to their other ones.. in general any 'normal' flavor of Quaker I like. I'll let you guys know tomorrow morning how the banana bread turns out.

ROFL Sunta!! I could rant all day about this, but it is really digusting to me. It's encouraging pedophiles, really. Look at the goodies my kid has to offer! When we lived in New Mexico, I saw it all the time.. little bitty kids (no older than 8!!) dressed like hookers, stilettos and all.. with their equally trashy looking moms. It was just sad. Those clothes are like that for a reason.. SEX APPEAL. What the hell does a child need sex appeal for?! DH said our kids will be wearing potato sacks. People should be ashamed that they let their kids dress 'sexy'.

I always liked the look of the monroe too, I didn't know thats what it was called till looking at that website. I debated it for sooo long, but I got rid of all my visible tattoos for the professional world (SIGH).. But everytime I see a girl with the monroe piercing I stare, looks so.. cute. Heh!

All in places I can easily cover up!! 1st was a fairy sitting on a moon and blowing a star out of her hand.. on my hip.. 2nd was my birth sign (aquarius)/birth element (water)/birth flower (orchid) in a little design where they all fit together.. on my ankle.. 3rd is a tribal looking thing on my lower back (tramp stamp!) they are vines that form a heart in the center and in the middle of that is a fairy that's crying. I want one more, but can't commit to what or where (for years now). The kiss on the ass sounds funny, wonder if I could get DH to pucker up

That was NICE! I couldn't be more nice, I paid 20 bucks for candles that went into my garbage 10 minutes after opening them. These people know their products before they send them. If it's not a shipping problem, they know its a POS, so if I contact them to complain, they can't 'fix the problem'. I did order 2 lamps on there once, that they shipped to my NM address.. I still don't know where it came from, it wasn't on my Paypal.. maybe Ebay.. but my invoice said where I live now, so I didn't know she was shipping to the wrong place. I contacted her, she sent me 2 new lamps to my current address. 1 was broken in shipping. I still gave her positive because where as she could have shipped it better, she made an effort to correct a problem and the PRODUCT WAS GOOD. And I agree, e-bay is full of scams.. which is why I never buy anything WORTH anything on there.. my dad actually bought a PS3 and Wii on there last x-mas, I couldn't believe it. And he was scammed on the PS3, imagine that. I have had problems with Paypal in the past, but they normally fix everything. Right now they won't change my last name unless I send a photo ID & marriage cert. That might be for documenting or whatever, but I didn't need a photo ID to make my account and it makes me nervous that they want one now. So I just am not changing my name with them.

I hear ya. I'm in 2nd week of my BC and bleeding like a stuck pig. These BC's don't fix me anymore. I am changing to Yaz at the end of this cycle, but might do it tomorrow in hopes to stop this insanity. I have already decided after 2 kids I am getting 'fixed'. I hate this crap.

I tend to shop there around Christmas, and when I need an odd or end around the house that I know I can find cheap there. I bought a nightstand for the guestroom on there for $8 ($20 total with shipping) a couple weeks ago and I love it.
