All 3 of them are beautiful Haydee! I like #1 the best. Where was that pool? GORGEOUS. It's actually kind of cold today. We had flooding rains for 2 weeks--all while 80+ degrees.. and today it's bright and sunny and low 70's. My knee is turning black on the edges.. I'll get another pic today..did you see the original one on FB? LUCKILY it isn't hurting any worse. I have been icing it and keeping it elevated. I now have so many numb spots on my body, it's really annoying. 2 months ago I stepped on the laptop cord on the edge of my big toe and cut a nerve somehow..so now I don't feel my big toe. Where they cut nerves during c-section, a whole area of my belly is numb.. and now this fall, the swelling is the diameter of a softball, half of it is tender and throbbing, the other half is completely numb.

Made in 1937... I recorded it. Any of you seen that??? I have a really hard time watching old movies, but I watched 1.5 hours last night before going to bed, 1 hour to go. I can't get over the 2 main characters are white people with eyeliner..and they have perfectly asian babies.

Oh no Janie I'm living in denial, I NEED bigger sizes, but I just go around sucking it in so hard I can't breathe. Meanwhile it is taking my doc a week to answer me everytime, and instead of getting to the point it's like "Well we should replace the port" me: "Great, what's the cost?" "We can't do it superficial like we thought" me: "OK, so what's the cost?" "I'll get back with you" me: "Any update?" "Checking with the boss"... etc. etc.

We went to space center this morn, they're doing some Star Wars promotion, so I got to take pics of Carson with Startroopers, and R2D2.. hehehe!! Then we took him to my moms, and on the way home we stopped at the gas station (pouring cats and dogs). I am walking in the door, with 2 other people in front of me, and I slip and bust my knee. Oh..my goodness. My whole leg went numb, so I was afraid to get up (and I'm cussing over and over trying to get the pain to stop-funny how that works). I was flabergasted, that the 2 people kept going, didn't pause, didn't ask are you ok.. nothing. THEN another man walks OVER me.. laying in red clay on the cement in front of the door. Doesn't ask if I need help, nothing. I can't believe it, this is the SOUTH!!! So a lady walks by so I finally flagged her down and asked her to get Russell who was parked behind a truck and didn't see me layin there. She was saying I need to file an accident report blah blah. Russ came and picked me up, and I can move and walk on it, so it's not broken.. but it's so swollen and an edge of it is completely numb. I just can't get over the 3 people who pretended I wasn't there. So now I have my free day to clean--which has been hard with the bum knee--and I got flowers in the mail the other day that I NEED to plant today, otherwise I won't have time to do it again.. but I can't get on my knees! Sucks this had to happen today.

I'm sure you can, but I'd cut the chicken in half or quarters. The recipe for diet coke chicken is a can of diet coke (I use coke zero), 1c of ketchup.. and then I add a lot of minced onion.

Russ & company said the chicken tasted 'smokey'.. not burned. It was alright, but I know how good it can be, sweet and tangy... oh well! I need a new crockpot, this one has always burnt everything. We are going to the space center tomorrow morning, then mom is taking Carson around 2, and we're going to meet my great aunt barbara (well, Carson is going to meet her).. she's in town from the Carolinas, she and my granny are going on a road trip to Florida. Then Russ & I probably doing dinner & a movie if there's a movie out we want to see.

Have fun Michelle, I am so jealous too, I can't wait till Carson is old enough to enjoy Disney world!!!!!!!

That's why I am so incredibly proud of Terry for standing her ground. I watch my mom and it is so frustrating knowing, we all know, she knows.. what needs to be done, and until she does it, nothing will ever change. So hearing Terry do what she's suppose to do to REALLY help, I am so proud and glad to know it can be done!! I know it's hard, my mom still can't seem to do it.

I'm a bad MOD, I don't get involved in the fights, if I do anything it's all behind the scenes. Yup sounds like me, if I ever try to say anything about the situation, she gets mad at ME. But if I ignore it, it drives me nuts (when she complains to me). I wanna shake her and go HELLLOOOOOO. She now uses Carson, saying that was her baby once and blah blah.. but she isn't HELPING her, she's HURTING her. Might as well be injecting sister's veins for her.

I don't know where the threads are, but I see the rallying & campaigning on FB. I don't know what happened, but a group of them are out to get Susan to step down (I don't know why, so I'm not involved). Every day now it's going back and forth, and I'm just skimming over the posts on FB. No one has said the problem though, so.. eh.. I'm not going to dig out drama on this forum. Speakin of, sister went back into rehab last night. She must have run out of her allowance they gave her Sunday. I was texting mom all night while she was sitting there (it's like a 6 hour admissions process). She said my sister gave her a ticket she got, due TODAY and has to be paid with money order. I finally stopped holding back, I texted back--- You shouldn't pay it, she should have used her 'allowance' to pay for her ticket instead of drugs. You NEED to let her have consequences and stop bailing her out........ Then mom stopped texting me, so I'm sure she's mad at me. She always fights with me if I have an opinion. Oh well. She is at physical therapy right now, waiting for her to get to work to see how mad she is at me for trying to be the voice of reason.

Smithsonian day Saturday, so they offer this free admission pass (for 2 people) to museums across the country. Museum Day 2009 | Smithsonian.com Me, mom, Russ, and Carson are going to go to the Space Center and check out the new Saturn exhibit. We've been wanting to go see it since it opened, now we have some sort of excuse to go.. it's free!

The letter... they think they figured out WHO did it; but no proof, so can't act on it (someone had their title they gave themself taken away from them the day before it was sent, then they went out of town that weekend.. letter is postmarked that Saturday from the town they went to). Sister.. I don't know, I honestly have distanced myself. I try not to be involved, they know how I feel. Terry sent me a great letter about letting addicts find their way (written by an addict). I finally sent it to my mom this week, and I saw she printed it out and gave it to my sister. I saw them give her allowance Sunday, and I know she is jobless again.... so what can ya do.

I have a cleaning service that comes every other week---sends the same girl. She does things half-ass which annoys me, but I don't know where else to look. Craigslist ended up being psychotic, and there were 2 cleaning places that were reputable.. only 1 called back, and that's who we went with. I've already called twice to 'nicely' complain.. or 'suggest' that I wasn't getting what I'm paying for according to the brochure. So it was like the week after that they sent someone else with her to make her do it right.. but then the next time, she's back to half-ass. I give up.

Hah hah, nothing like that.. more like, what I imagine PTA is like. There's a heirarchy... an unspoken one.

I set both my tivo's up with like 30 shows!! I am SO psyched. 2 1/2 men, house, big bang theory, grey's anatomy, till death, flash forward, the good wife, the middle, modern family, accidentally on purpose, glee, californication, dexter, desperate housewives, ugly betty, hank, office, parks & recreation, brothers, curb your enthusiasm, community... uhm..that's all I can remember right now LOL. I am a tv freak, and there's like 8 new shows coming out that look really good. Went to a mommy group last night at starbucks for their meet & greet. Actually had a good time, can tell there's weird politics within the group, but I liked the girls I was able to talk to (3 tables full of women, so you're kind of limited to whoever you sat next to). They have 3-5 events DAILY, so I should be able to find things to do with them. Exciting!

Judy, is Kris dieting or just the working out? I e-mailed my docs last week asking the next step, nurse wrote back saying they probably want to replace the port and she'll get with the docs and let me know. Waiting to hear back with baited breath.

Done with the cleaning-for now! That's great about Kris!! I have stopped weighing myself. I think I am nesting all over again, I am getting so antsy about cleaning every nook with every spare moment I have. We have had a lot of flooding around here, from the sounds of FB everyone is getting rain lately. Haydee I knew you went somewhere, didn't know it was New Orleans.. yes that place is beautiful. I actually haven't been (it's on my to-do list), but I know so many people that go and bring me back pics, souvenirs, and stories.. sounds wonderful.. and no, the debauchery and drinking is just during Mardi Gras!

OMG I died laughing!!!! Good thing you guys went to the ER Judy with an artery.. oy, yuck, I don't even like picturing those kinds of things!! (Yet c-section pics totally cool hah hah). I guess I am ick about things you actually feel! Russ, dad, and I went to Atlanta yesterday for the Braves Vs. Phillies game. Awesome atmosphere. We were for Phillies, so were a vast minority. It was an exciting game (I don't know much about baseball though), Phillies were behind 6 to 0 in the top of the 9th.. then suddenly they get 2 on base, hit a home run.. so 3, then I think they scored 1 more, and with 0 outs they had 2 more people on base and a run of good hitters. They almost made a comeback, so that was cool.. they didn't though. Oh well. The sucky thing, it rained like cats and dogs the whole drive there, several spots where you couldn't see to drive, I was so on edge.. I looked at my dad at one point and said "Can you see?" and he just shook his head no. I was like crap. Luckily we made it.. and then on the drive home it rained for half the time (we saw 3 people who ran off the road into the trees both ways). Now it's storming, and I love it because I'm HOME. I've been cleaning like a fool lately, I'm developing an OCD about it.. I guess it could be worse. I've been Pledging my cabinets, just put Carson to bed, and I'm about to go dust every inch of the ceilings.

Wow that is strict Kat, I haven't heard of any of that around here.. although I just started looking into it. The neti-pot... my allergist gave me a sinus rinse. She said I could get a neti-pot if I wanted, but the sinus rinse should work fine. I was grossed out by it, took me 2 weeks to get the guts to do it. Ends up it was nothing, even felt good (I thought shooting crap in my nose was going to hurt). It was just a bottle you mix saline solution.. and it rinsed out my nose and voila.

I can't believe the Russell guy, or the other guy on his team that attacked Marissa the whole time.. they didn't show us what his beef with her is about but he is so volitile.. Russell, it's obvious he's just a psychopath.

My last post was typed one handed.. Have fun Judy!! Mom set up a treadmill in her nook in her bedroom overlooking the lake, and she set up a tv in there so she watches the lake, or reruns of Six Feet Under while walking. She said she's done a mile every night. So proud of her. I bought a book "Eat This Not That", has really interesting info. I need to get my head back in the game, I'm creeping back up to 300lbs :thumbup: I e-mailed my band doc today and let him know I don't feel anything from the omnipaque, so what's the next course. Hopefully, he'll send me cost to do a superficial fix of the port without anesthesia and hopefully it's affordable, and I can just fix it for now. Otherwise.. eh. I also started looking around at daycare just to get an idea. When I have baby #2, I'm going to have to put Carson in daycare, I can't have 2 babes at work. It's a ways away, but figured I'd start research early. Anyone have experience with putting their kids in daycare when they are 2-3 years old and aren't use to daycares?

Jenn- I never tried it!! That's just what she told me hehe. Woohooo new car! I bought it from ebay.... We're going with my dad to see Braves (dads team) vs. Phillies (russ team). I'm going for the trip.
